On this visit, I got a super friendly greeting from the cashier. Ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (a little vanilla, a little lavender, extra foam) in a mug, and a blueberry lemon scone. They do a nice job with the latte, and the scone was very good (might ask to have it warmed up next time). The place has a great vibe. The staff seem to enjoy themselves and treat everyone with kindness and respect. It's a great example of what a coffee shop should be.

The French toast had a nice caramelized exterior and was cooked perfectly. I couldn't pass up some bakery to take home and got a blueberry muffin and a peanut butter/chocolate chip scone. This scone was fantastic; not too sweet with a great balance of chocolate and peanut butter. What really makes this a five star place is their service. We have tried other places in the surrounding area and the owners will usually ignore us since we aren't regulars. While Creole Cafe definitely has their regular customers, but what sets them apart from some of the other spots is that we didn't feel out of place and the owners made us feel so welcome.
