We stopped by Harry's Beach House on Sunday around noon and were lucky to find a table without much of a wait. From the moment we arrived, the host was welcoming, and our servers were wonderful--friendly, attentive, and impressively quick with everything. We chose to sit on the patio, and I'm so glad we did. It has such a lush, cozy atmosphere with greenery all around--you almost feel like you're dining in a little jungle. I ordered the burger. The first bite was delicious because all the toppings and flavors inside work so well together. However, the beef itself wasn't my favorite--it was quite fatty and didn't have that clean, high-quality beef taste I usually look for in a burger. I also ordered a virgin Bloody Mary, but unfortunately that wasn't for me either. It was very thick and tasted a little too much like straight tomato sauce rather than a refreshing, balanced Bloody Mary. My husband really enjoyed the oysters, while our daughter wasn't in the mood for a full meal, so we kept it simple with fries and fresh fruit for her. Overall, the beautiful patio, welcoming service, and relaxed Sunday atmosphere made it an enjoyable lunch. I'd definitely come back for the vibe and hospitality, but next time I'd explore some different items on the menu.
Celebrating my birthday at 6:30PM on a Sunday with wife, daughter, son-in-law and 2 teen grandchildren. First time, but my daughter had been there before. Alki Beach is a noisy crowded place and parking is almost impossible. Our son-in-law dropped us off and went off hunting for parking. It took at least 15 minutes. We ordered drinks for everyone during the wait. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but everything we ordered was unique and impressive. We will definitely come back but perhaps at not on a Sunday night during the World Cup.
First time guest, now a forever fan. From the moment I entered to the time we exited, I was blown away by the service. You can tell when people like their job, and everyone I saw walking to my table seemed to really enjoy being there. Our waitress was fantastic. I don't remember her name, but she was a delight. The food was phenomenal, and the new back area is perfect. If you're looking for a cool, great place to eat and enjoy yourself, look no further Harry's Beach House is it! I can't wait to go back. I'll be the guy at the bar drinking two martinis.

The food and service were pretty good, and the ambience was great. I came for happy hour and, compared to the normal prices, the prices were decent, but still quite steep. The oysters were delicious, as was the clam chowder. I especially enjoyed the bits of geoduck. My favorite was the fish sandwich with nuoc cham slaw. Great balance of flavors on a soft bun. I wish it came with a side of fries, but if you want to add fries, it's $8 more!
This place is usually always a good time if I felt a little weird this time around one of the servers took away an umbrella and didn't even use it for anybody else, but I mean that's fine. The food was immaculate. The bloody Mary was very on par, but the spritz was really sweet. We sat on the patio with my dog and it was a good time overall.
Harry's Beach House transports you to an elevated beach dining experience. It's the lone experience on Alki beach that feels authentic. The oysters and the mignonette sauce are top tier along with the cocktails along with the team being very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations.
Great location with a nice beachy feel and casual enough to come from the beach or dress up some! The service was good, no complaints except that some of the servers are young and don't know what goes with what... didn't ruin anything! Food was amazing!! I got a special which was halibut collar and my hubba got the summer greens salad which he said was one of the best salads he'd ever had. My halibut collar was amazing, great and a big portion for the price! Dirty gin martinis were on point!!!

I do wish they had Eggs Benedict on the menu like they used to, I was disappointed they didn't. They also charge for soda refills even after we said we didn't want them... We ordered a sourdough grilled cheese and asked for no peppers (why would you even put peppers in a grilled cheese in the first place?) It came with peppers, and when we asked for it to be remade without them, they clearly just picked the peppers out and served us the same sandwich. It was cold, half empty, and obviously not remade. So disappointing and pretty gross. Overall, I would over look the negatives and give this place another try sometime.

But again, if you're all plant based, it's tough to find something that really satisfies. We had good service. The room in the back that's like a big glass room gets kind of noisy. I think all the rooms actually have a little bit of noise, but that's part of the vibe.

When we arrived, just after they opened, we were the third party in the restaurant. The atrium was really cute. It had a glass chandelier, great decor, and a view of Alki Beach. Our waiter brought us some water and we both decided to order the quiche (daily special was spinach, mushroom and goat cheese) along with a cup of clam chowder. Being that the restaurant was kind of empty, it took a while for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, the chowder was tepid at best and quiche was ice cold. I flagged the waiter down and as he took away our plates, he made a comment about the oven not being set correctly, which I thought was a bit odd. To me, it seemed as if our food may have been waiting a while to get picked up. Nevertheless, our food returned shortly thereafter piping hot. The chowder was delicious, definitely one of the tastiest I've had in Seattle. I found the quiche to be lacking in flavor and then noticed that there were no salt or pepper shakers on any of the tables, which I also thought was a bit odd. After we had finished eating, the waiter asked my friend if she wanted a box for her quiche. When he returned with the box, he did not clear our dishes or ask if we were ready for our check. I had to flag him down to ask for it. I noticed they added a $3 service fee to the bill, not quite sure what that was about, as the food was already a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area and there were issues with our food. I guess it's for the beach view? Overall, this was a decent meal, but I just don't get what all the hype is about.

We were looking for a place to take my son for his birthday near Alki and chose this place and are so glad we did. We couldn't decide between lunch and dinner, and we ended up going during happy hour. We were able to get some of their food and cocktails at a nice price. We sat inside, even though I had requested outside on my reservation, but the inside decor is very cute too and we were close enough to the open patio. I tried their geoduck clam chowder and Caesar salad and both were delicious. My husband and son got the fish and chips. They both loved it. The fish had a super crispy coating but not too much coating so the fish still shined. Quality was present in everything we ordered. I ordered a lemoncello spritz and my son ordered a pina colada. My spritz was ok but not much lemon flavor. My son loved his though and ordered a second one. We were all too full to order dessert, but I had mentioned in my reservation that this was for a birthday and nothing was said by our waitress, which makes me wonder why they ask in the first place. However, this place has a beautiful atmosphere right next to the beach across the street and phenomenal food, so I am sure my son will be back and so will we when we visit again. Came here while spending the day around Alki Beach and wanted some good seafood. We happened to visit on a beautiful, sunny day. We sat inside, but the patio was open, so we still got to enjoy some sunshine and a nice breeze, which was a great bonus. I got the watermelon margarita, which was super refreshing, and the shrimp dish was flavorful and tasted fresh. Service was good, and the overall atmosphere was lively and vibrant. I wouldn't necessarily call this the best seafood spot I've been to, but the food was fresh and tasty, and it's a great place to grab some drinks and a few bites while enjoying the Alki Beach atmosphere. Great meal sat evening for a birthday. Service was just fantastic from drinks to checking on us to fussing with blinds when the sun was setting. The drinks were a highlight. Frozen mai tai was really special. We'd had a frozen apple cider last fall or so and knew their frozen drinks are good. I had a gin drink that was pure alchemy. We had oysters, bread, pork, chicken (cut with a spoon it was so tender), Caesar, and the cabbage. The salad and cabbage were amazing. Cabbage had a garlicky sauce that was great. We liked the bread enough that we had two orders. Sunset was great. All in all a great vibe. Will definitely be back. read more

Growing up in west Seattle, it was unique to come back to what once was Tullys coffee that is now Harry's beach house. I might catch flack from some locals for saying this, but I really enjoy what they have done with this building. It's beautiful inside and out. (Still in the midst of a renovation but I think it looks so so good) Ordered an expresso martini (so good) and a more savory breakfast item. Was honestly the best breakfast I've had in so long. Service was great, food was amazing, and the environment gave high end beach. I look forward to coming back! read more

I recently went to Harry's Beach House during happy hour. We chose outside seating and the ambiance was really nice, with views of the beach and perfect amount of sunshine. The staff were super friendly and very prompt and attentive the entire time. I had a Harry's G&T which was very refreshing. We got the caesar salad, the fish sandwich and clam chowder. We also tried a couple of oysters on a half shell. The caesar salad was okay but all the other food was very fresh and tasty. The prices are a bit on the higher side so going during happy hour was a good idea. Overall I would recommend checking them out when you're in the area, the place has good food and amazing beach vibes. read more

Went to Harry's for brunch. The portions are surprisingly small for breakfast, so don't go if you're really hungry. I ordered the steak and eggs, and the steak was maybe 5 ounces at most and came out overdone. I ate it anyway because I was starving, but it definitely wasn't worth the price. That said, the burger at the table next to us looked great--probably the best option on the menu. Overall, the place is fine, but it feels like it's running mostly on its prime location rather than memorable food or service. read more

We hadn't made it to the beach this summer and with the water taxi, getting to Alki beach is not that difficult. With a patio view, and some wind, we sat down for a great meal. I did a dozen oysters, of which my daughter took one. My daughter had the burger, which was excellent and definitely enough for two. My wife got the BLT with a salad. The food was delicious, the service was warm, attentive and it was fun to see the servers interact with the woman celebrating a birthday during retirement. To top that all off, if you're staying close, the restaurant has a wine shop in the back. What a great place. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted calamari so we decided to check this place out. The hostess was unfriendly. Our waiter's body language was so poor, they gave us the wrong happy hour menus so we couldn't get calamari. And gave us tap water, like wtf? They gave us the option to get bottled sparkling water for an up charge as a replacement for clean filtered water. We ordered fish and chips to share and the plate only came with one piece of fish LOL. They added a service charge for what? We paid $31 tip included for fish and chips. The service was so bad, I would never come back here, no cap. Ambiance...pretentious. read more

Great spot if you're craving oysters on a hot, sunny day at Alki Beach. They offer a variety of oysters, all fairly sized with a sweet, fresh taste. I also ordered the sourdough bread with butter and the clam chowder, both were tasty. There's some patio seating where you can enjoy the waterfront views. Just a heads up: parking around Alki can be tricky. Service was excellent, our server consistently refilled our water and checked in throughout the meal. read more

I had a friend visiting in town from Portland and he had been around the touristy parts of Seattle. He has never visited West Seattle, so I took him all over the place including Alki. As we walked around Alki we decided to check out Harry's Beach House. We had to wait a little for seating even though there were quite a bit of seats already opened. Perhaps they didn't have enough staff? No worries though, we eventually got seated in the semi-outdoor patio. Our servers were friendly, and we got our meals quickly. I had ordered the Harry's breakfast platter. Nothing crazy about it, got some eggs, toast, potatoes, avocados, and spreads. Toast was really good though. It was an average plate, but I would probably get something else. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and said it was really good. I may come back here again and would try something different. Parking is often extremely tight in this area. You may have to park 3-4 blocks away and walk in.

I don't know that they have one. They have a pretty active Instagram account, so I suspect you may be able to DM them there. They don't do reservations, so I guess that makes the phone not needed?
