Visiting from LA and Mack's was definitely on my list of places to try. Chicken was hot and fresh. Fries were good, the grilled fried Hawaiian rolls reminded me of Sizzler's toast. Nothing bad to say about this spot. I'd visit each time I'm here.

They don't even care if you come back. The customer service is horrendous. The old man take your order. He isn't polite. He has never had any customer service training. He is very slow in taking the order. He is difficult to understand. Some say say he is rude. He just say what your order. This was my first time going here in years. I stopped going because he stopped giving customers hot sauce to put on the chicken or fries. He says he wants people to taste his chicken not hot sauce. Not considering the demographics of his customers who might like hot sauce on chicken and fries. Many will go home and put hot sauce on it. I was hungry and in the area. The got the 3 wings meal. It comes with fries and a drink. The fries ate heavily seasoned. It is a unique taste but some say it is too salty. The chicken wasn't special at all. It is okay but just okay. It will do but there are many better options for chicken around with better customer service. I also got jalapeños peppers. I was shocked as well as disappointed with the inside of the restaurant. They built a wooden area for you to recieve your food. It looks poorly done. They didn't even attempt to paint it. There was nothing appealing about this place. There is parking in the strip mall. Not great but it's parking. The outside isn't much better than the inside. Nothing is inviting. I

Sorry to say, a lot of the employees behind the counter were disinterested in engaging with customers. I narrowed it down to Fordo's and Chicken Scratch and since I recently had Fordo's at Urban Chestnut, so I went to Chicken Scratch. They offered a rotisserie chicken quarter with a side. I wanted a salad but not Kale with lemon parmesan so I asked if they could just give me the mixed greens with vinaigrette and he was accommodating and nice about it. Made me so happy to be heathier than fries or slaw. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, and I loved the mixed greens with vinaigrette! I ordered the chicken wings, and they were unusually large to the point that I actually wondered what kind of chicken they came from. Unfortunately, they were also rubbery in places, with quite a bit of tendon and connective tissue. The breading was crispy, but it had almost no flavor or seasoning. The fries were okay, though also unseasoned, and the slaw was very watery. I really wanted to enjoy the meal because Hodak's has been a St. Louis favorite for so long, but the wings in particular were a big disappointment. I'm not sure if something has changed over the years or if I just caught them on an off day, but based on this visit, I wouldn't order them again.

Especially since my last visit to Lions Choice getting their Italian beef was terrible! So I went to St. Louis Fish and chicken on Saint Charles rock Road ordered Italian beef through the drive-through the service was excellent very friendly. You can tell everything is made fresh there's a little bit of a wait, but that's fine as long as the food's good. I got a huge Chicago style Italian beef sandwich with giardinaira peppers. The only thing that would've been better is if they knew how to make sweet peppers because that would be that would make it a perfect Italian beef - just sauté some some green bell peppers and red bell peppers with garlic and olive oil ant that would be the perfect topping. but this was a very tasty Italian beef sandwich. The Ajou that they use has good spices and flavoring and I would highly recommend recommended to anybody. Plus the order of fries that they give you was huge.

Sons and I are visiting from out of town. Order included: Kids chicken tenders and fries, chicken Philly, regular Philly, mozzarella sticks, and 3 Arizonas; total was $47. The prices on the tablet for some items were slightly higher than prices listed on the menu above the counter. Food was ready at 4:04pm. It was odd to see other people come, order, and receive their food before us though. We ate inside. Whatever seasoning they use on the fries and moz sticks can be overwhelming in large quantities; it made us cough. Nonetheless, food was enjoyable! I opted for "the luch combo" with ribs tips and two sides (potato salad and green bean). Service: Was ok, nothing really spectacular. Received "matter of fact attitude" while placing order. We opted to dine in. A great touch- The cashier checked in and asked if we were ok after approximately 30 mins into dining. That was nice, didn't really expected it. Food: Green beans were room temp however flavorful, with pieces of turkey and a lil kick! Would have been much better served hot! Potato salad- good, made with sweet relish and on the sweeter side. I tend to prefer tangy instead, however it was a nice change to have. Ribtips- OK, some portions hard to chew, other tender. Definitely required some flossing lol lol. Ambiance- Music playing in the background, slightly on the louder side, which will make it a little difficult to converse. Cost- A little pricey if just buying meat. I was not informed that if I pay with debit card, prices are higher. I realized it after I had already rung up and received my receipt and I questioned it. More transparency would be nice. Recommendation: Try them out if you are in the area!

I'm sure it's to discourage people sitting while waiting fir their food, but it gives off a weird vibe because there are sooo many of them. I would suggest to maybe place them all on the dinning side out of view. The service was pretty quick! Greeted upon arrival and order placed. Ordered the 8 piece meal which came with fries (almost like seasoned breaded wedges from KFCs old menu), a roll, and a bottled soft drink of choice. You can try 2 different sauces on the 8 piece meal and I went with 1/2 Hot wings and 1/2 original (fried). The original wings were way too salty for me but the Hot wings were pretty good. Also, the wings were tiny, almost so small where maybe we should have received 10 instead of 8. I was super glad they weren't those gigantic turkey wings sized chicken wings though!! Food was decent, service was great! Would maybe order if I was in the area again butttttttttt then again maybe not.
