One of my first times stopping in at what's quickly becoming a St Louis landmark with a large following on Instagram. Coming to this Columbia, Illinois hot spot and enjoying the atmosphere you can see why. Be prepared to seeing it totally packed on the weekends. I wanted to see the two bartenders I personally consider the stars of the venue Abigail and Kassidy. As beautiful and talented as you obviously see they are it's their guest service and personalities win the day. Two sweeter and more genuine individuals I challenge you to find anywhere. I'm going to be 100% honest I actually do get nervous coming into see them. It's hard to imagine seeing two angels on Earth. All the girls rock and provide premier service. I lived in St Louis for 14 years and I must say this would definitely be my spot if I still lived in the area. With Abigail and Kassidy it's like coming back and seeing friends I've known. I get that impression it's their style with all guest. I travel the country and these two are my two favorites anywhere. I'd highly recommend if you're a first timer you request them. Great bar for a day or night out. This bar gives local neighborhood vibes but is HUGE and has so many cool things to do while you are there - dart boards, cornhole, gaming slots, outdoor sand volleyball pits, fire pits, patio, multiple bars. When we were there they were having a large benefit over the course of 2 days. That said it was apparently much busier than normal. We still felt very comfortable and were able to find a seat right away. They had a new seasonal cocktail menu and I really liked that. I tried the watermelon martini and it was delish! Hubby had a standard Bacardi and diet cola and he enjoyed those as well. I also had a water - they serve water in a red cup versus standard so it's easily recognizable. Later in the evening our group ordered fried pickles and I ordered a philly cheesesteak, no bread, cheese only on 1/2 with tator tots with multiple condiments (don't blame them for my lame photo - blame me lol). Food came out very quickly! My cheesesteak and tots were really good, especially for my adjustments! I also appreciated that my condiments were brought out at the same time. I didn't eat any pickles but our group raved about how great they were. I will say some of the food prices were higher than I would expect (ex: 7 chicken wings for $14). Our group played darts for awhile and we sat at a table close to it. The darts were a lot of fun and just nice to have something to do. Overall I really had a great time here. I would definitely come back and enjoy again! *I saw many reviews on the "great views" and didn't know what it was referencing, so I asked when I was there. We came in here to watch the game on Sunday day at this place got busy. They have a huge open concept with TONS of TV's to watch any game you can think of. We came here during the winter, but they have a large outdoor area with corn hole boards to play games outside when the weather is better. Their menu is great and the food is amazing. Only 20-30 minutes from St. Louis, this large sports bar has tons of TVs, friendly waitresses, a full bar with extensive liquor choices, and a large outdoor patio area with games. Leagues for bags and darts. Great for big groups, blues hockey, or Football Sundays. Food was just ok but I'd give them another shot. I ordered a smash burger with fries, also wings. Coca-cola products for soft drinks. Smash burger patties were pretty thick for a smash burger and I didn't taste the crispy edges like you'd get from a place like Carls Drive In or Steak n' Shake. The best part of the burger was actually the garlic mayo, which was homemade. Good bun. Crispy, almost battered fries. Bone In Wings were average and not crispy. Actually a little disappointing. The sauce wasn't very spicy and tasted more buttery than Buffalo. I'd give their boneless wings or tenders a try with a different sauce next time. Service was friendly. They were slammed busy on a Football Sunday. Took a little while to get a drink after sitting at the bar. No big deal but don't be in a hurry when you come here. Now that sports betting is legal online in Illinois, I think a lot of people bet on games and come here to watch. Overall a good experience and I'll be back with a bigger group next time. read more

The only time I go to top shooters is if I'm hanging out with my friend Joe. No complaints on my end pretty standard. They have food, which is a pretty decent. We came in for dinner awhile ago and saw one of the waitresses getting yelled at in front of customers and if he was yelling at a girl in front of customers I can't imagine what goes on behind closed doors. My friends and I went there for dinner last night. The experience was lackluster. I arrived around 5pm and waited at the bar for my friends. The bartender was nice and fast, and the drink tasted good. The music inside was overall maybe just a tiny bit loud, loud enough that I had to talk louder for my friends. The appearance of the place was nice inside. We got the pretzel bites and the pepper-jack bites. Both were really good. Here is where it goes south. The entrees were pretty meh. The Mac and cheese was priced up for a side so I assumed it would be good, the quality and quantity didn't justify the price. I wish I would have got fries. The buffalo chicken sandwich was meh, no complaints I guess, but I left wishing it was better. I can't speak for my friends, but they didn't seem satisfied. The restaurant has a gimmick about the dress code for the waitresses, but we really didn't get to see it because every last one of them left at around 5:30-6pm. This left only a couple guys walking around with tablets taking orders. Not sure why they didn't stay past 6 ‍. Next, they had golf sims in the back, pretty cool except they were open, so someone using a driver was pretty loud. Could be fixed if the enclosed those areas with windows and a door. And the last thing was the robot. I think I get why they use it, but it travels from the kitchen to the bar. It beeps pretty loud and was annoying. The amount of time used to load it with food and tell it to go to the bar, they could have walked it the 25 feet to the bar. I had to laugh that they loaded it with our food, and then it took off 6 feet before the tablet guy stopped it to take our food off of it. No one working was wearing a mask or gloves. Didn't require customers coming in to have masks on. The picture of the burnt cheese pizza says what the food was like. They did make another pizza that we had to get and they were nice, but the no masks thing was concerning. Even two IL cops came in with no masks and ate there. Arrived from St. Louis on Sunday at noon. Went in sat down and picked up menus to make our lunch selections. The waitress promptly arrived and took our drink order. She returned with the drinks and we enjoyed the sodas. When we got ready to order she said that all they were serving were breakfast sandwiches until 2pm. Having checked their web site prior to driving over there was no mention of this. No signs at the entrance indicating this lack of a full menu until 2pm. The waitress was good enough to check and see if we could order anything else. No was what the cook said. Not until 2pm. A simple " I'm sorry come back and see us again" would have left us accepting of the fact we would not be able to eat lunch there that day and looking forward to returning. They felt compelled to charge us $4 for two drinks. We paid and left with the feeling if $4 is more important to squeeze out of customers, then keeping them happy good riddance. Checked Yelp and went down the road 2 miles to Reifschneiders Grill and Grape. Great atmosphere, and superb food. read more

First time visit. Sharp decor. Chef salad was terrific, huge, and very reasonably priced! Included hard boiled eggs which too many restaurants leave out, unfortunately. I found myself torn between devouring it completely there in the bar or extending this delight by taking some home. In a place where they really shouldnt be all that pricey. They do have Wheach beer on tap which is a plus for me!-- and their tap beer selection is pretty decent, but still pricey. There is no "theme" to this bar, just random things hung up. The menu is typical bar food, pizza, wings, sandwiches etc. And the food is okay. Nothing special, but its decent. A friend and I stopped by here for a drink and food after a round of golf in Columbia. It's a typical sports bar in that there are tons of TVs, lots of bar games (Golden Tee, darts, etc.)... but they step it up a notch. For example, they have two golf simulators... the kind where you bring your own clubs and play a simulated game. Rumor has it they bought them from the golf bar in Chesterfield when it went under. Anyway for $30 you can play for an hour. It's $15 per half hour after that. Another unique factor is that they have a slot machine area... real slots... that pay money. I guess this is legal? Dunno. But there were some randoms playing that look like they might have been there all day. We bellied up to the bar and were served by Alexis. Cute girl (based on photos around the place I think that's all that they hire here), who provided good service. There were several drafts that you wouldn't expect for a place like this. Think UCBC, O'Fallon, etc. And the food is typical bar fare, but there are special boards around the place highlighting options that aren't on the menu. I had a buffalo shrimp wrap and fries. It was good, but nothing special. The wings we had for an appetizer were spot on. If you're in the area, and are looking for a place to drink, don't be intimidated by the gruff exterior. Went here on a busy Friday night. Took around 45 mins to get my food, which was just appetizers. I know there was a fair amount of people there, but still seemed like a long wait for how few people were eating. The food was hot but all pretty mediocre. I have had the same quality from a frozen box. The bar staff was ok. Again, they looked busy, but that doesn't mean they couldn't smile or be polite. We still had a good time, they had live music, electric dart boards, pool table, big block jenga, and a good size patio. Better food and better service would of earned 5 stars. Trying something new. Love the new outside area. Daughter 2 had chili cheese tater tots(not on the menu), Daughter 1 had the pulled pork sandwich, adults split the philly cheesesteak sandwich & we had pretzel bites as an app. All food was GREAT!!! philly sandwich was not the norm but loved it still.
