Kenny's is a great place to meet friends for a low key time, to play pool, grab drinks, and catch local bands. They have two menus: full-service menu with everything you'd expect from apps and salads to entrees, and 2-sided 1-pager event menu (originally introduced at the onset of the pandemic) and now used when the kitchen is super busy. All the food I've had here I great, as can be said by my friends also. On our last visit we ordered mozzarella sticks and fried macaroni cheese balls for the table - both came in large portions. My friends also ordered shrimp skewers that they said were quite worth the wait and the shrimp were all decent sized (I can't recall their name), fries which were the perfect crispness, steak au jois sammy which my other friend really enjoyed. Get there early for bucket specials on your favorite beers! They serve a wide array of liquor, cocktails, Jell-O shots. The building is huge and one half is just a pool hall while the other half, where you see bands, has a few pool tables on the perimeter. The servers have always even friendly, but you'll want to keep track of your tab because it does get hectic at times and they've made mistakes. Will I return? We stopped in not knowing the area. We had some drinks and lunch. They overcharge for everything. Our food wasn't good. The French fries and tater tots were burnt and gross. We ordered sandwiches without cheese and they had cheese on them. We won't venture out of our way to go here. Plenty other places to go that are cheaper in the city. read more

Eh nothin special. $12 hamburgers that pretty much taste like cheaper ones. Pizzas kinda lacking sauce both times I tried them so they were dry. Very skimpy on salad dressing at least with Caesar. Great food, lots of options, generous portions. Service was friendly and had good recommendations. On the pool hall side, the pool tables are fast and have Simonis cloth, played very well. Lots of space and seating... At least for the event I attended. Had a really good time here. They also have a Touchtunes jukebox. From the menu, I'd recommend you find a friend and order the pulled pork nachos (although I wish they had a version maybe with a different BBQ sauce, this one was ok but for variety's sake ), the pepperjack cheese bites with ranch (best ones ever are here). The cops were waiting directly across the street with their lights off on a Saturday night. Got pulled over less than 400 yards from the front door. Only giving one star due to this unfortunate night. This is my favorite go to when I don't feel like cooking. We usually do carry out. But I do enjoy the bar atmosphere on occasion The Philly and the Prime Rib sandwiches are my favorites. Burgers are always delicious. Their fries use to be my favorite until recently when they changed them. Now they are thin little things that get cold and rubbery too fast (nobody asked me my opinion ‍). All in all...great local bar with great weekend bands, ice cold beer, great food and amazing barmaids and waitresses. And if you like to shoot a little pool, you can do that there too. read more

Shockingly good pizza. I was fairly happy to find a late night biker bar in Jefferson County. We had been out for a while and ended at Kenny's. The bartender suggested pizza and I was glad she did. A fairly inexpensive price, the toppings were packed on and cooked great. There is a live band and the people working were friendly. There were many pool tables on the other side of the bar. Large parking lot with plenty of room after the late night. For a large, late night, live music, dive bar with great pizza; this was a good score. read more

This place is a hidden gem! The staff is supper friendly and hospitality is top notch. I was at De Soto and couldn't find the any entertainment. This place offers 24hr pool table, and other games along with great food. Rachel and Mallory are great and with this business much success. Great pool hall. They take really good care of the tables. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Lessons available for decent price. Pool tournaments and leagues during the week and weekend. This is a roadhouse bar. If you sit and drink long enough, you might envision Patrick Swayze walking out of the back, ready to Take Care of Business. (Although for the record, everyone was really nice. I even had a couple offer to slide down a couple of bar stools to make room for me and my girlfriend.) The food isn't too expensive and I thought the burgers were awesome. The beer selection is what I call "yellow beer." Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, etc. The bartender/waitress was smoking a cigarette and had a shot with the customers sitting at the bar. It seemed like I had stepped back in time about 30 years. They have 9 or 10 pool tables - and good players. A bunch of Harley's outside, bunch of smokers inside. This is my kind of place. First, we'll start with the atmosphere. Very welcoming. My only complaint is that there is no smoking section, so people smoke where they wish. I'm not a huge fan of cigarette smoke. It is a bar, so you may have to work around it. I subtracted a star for that. All the staff had smiles on their face. Shows they enjoy their job. Tammy was my waitress. Se was very pleasant and great personality. Everyone was being waited on in a very efficient manner. I did't wait long for the food either and the food was excellent. I had the mushroom Swiss burger on a pretzel bun. Fresh ground beef cooked exactly how I asked. It tasted like they fired up the home grill in the backyard. The flavor was spot on. The fries were so good, I ate them without ketchup. I ordered ice tea and a bottle of bud light. Must have a beer with a burger, though I would love to see them with a larger beer selection. There is a reason AB-InBev has declining sales. The small beer selection subtracted another star. In all, I was very impressed with the food and the service. I would suggest the establishment open up a wider variety of beer choices...not a lot, just more than three or four products. I recommend this little known gem to anyone who lives in, or driving by, Barnhart, MO. read more

This place told us we could not get tap water, we asked for 4 drinks and 4 waters and were told we had to pay for bottle water, no tap for free to stay safe and hydrated....btw state law requires that if they serve alcohol they have to provide free drinking water read more

This place wasn't bad -- It was clean and the staff worked very hard to keep everyone happy and get everything taken care of. We went on a Saturday night for the live music, which was the big issue. Nothing against the band, but the music was so loud that you had to scream into someone's ear to be heard. It was CRAZY loud. I don't know how any managed to socialize enough to go home with anyone else, because I could barely express to my boyfriend what a headache I had. Both the DJ and the band were obscenely loud, so I don't know if it's an every night issue, but tonight it certainly was. I find this place as a rip off.... Only reason 2 stars is because the band was great. I ordered a medium rare burger and it cam out well rare. So that tells me cooks have no clue of what what is. i assume medium rare i should of asked for medium well. Secondly as sitting there I truly watched a man at I think 6 plus dollars a shot order 12 somethings. The tender as I watched counted out shots and drinks mixes which I knew would only make 5 maybe 6 if lucky pours. To then watch her do for the next 3 cause it wasnt enough do long pours without counting then to ad what I assume grenadine to actually grabbing two shots off the tray already made and shaking it to refill two taken and only 3 more glasses. It only gets better she does this a second time exactly as before hence 12 shots.... No offense I think it better to drive past here and goto St. Louis and party plus a hotel room Might be way cheaper........ read more

I wish I could give this place a higher rating but I would like this place better if they did not have smoking inside. I have asthma so if I go here I can only take it for a short time before I have to leave because I cannot breathe. If this place was smoke free I would give it a much higher rating. Everything reeks of smoke. You smell like an ashtray when you leave. Parking sucks too because if you can't park in the lot you have to park across the street meaning you have to walk across the highway and while it's not a highly populated town, it feels unsafe is you are a woman crossing the street by yourself. What I do like about the place is there is plenty of seating and live music. The food is cheap and would taste better if you didn't have to breathe in smoke while trying to eat. The 24 hour diner is a very cool concept especially for those who have had too much and need to chill out. This place is the place to go if you are a smoker. If you are a non-smoker you will not enjoy it. The ventilation inside doesn't clear any of the smoke out. Again, I do like this bar but as a nonsmoker, the smoke keeps me away and that's a shame and that's why I can only give it a 2. read more
