This time the food was hot and fresh, service was good and we really enjoyed our meal. The fries green beans and the horse radish sauce were very good. The hot wings were good but nothing special or distinct. They also offer another kind of trashed and baked wing but I wasn't feeling as adventurous to try it at the time. The bacon cheeseburger was nicely cooked and juicy. Prices were fairly reasonable. Been here a couple times and it's always fun! Usually pretty quick service and not hard to get a table. They have a decent selection of beers but you won't find anything too fancy here. Last time I came I got their seasonal pumpkin beer and it was great. They have a good happy hour deal. Big parking lot makes it easy to park and they have nice bathrooms. OB Clark's bar and grill is a restaurant located in Brentwood. It's a seat yourself restaurant that always has a nice crowd every time I have gone but I am always able to find a seat in a few minutes. The ambiance is that of a sports bar with plenty of TV's showing all different sports games. The waitress Ashley was very attentive even though she had her hands full with other tables. The menu is not a big menu but there is something on there for everyone. I had trashed wings for an appetizer and they did not disappoint, for my main meal I ordered the Mandarin chicken salad with a poppy seed dressing. It one of the best salads that I have had at any restaurant. It's a pretty big salad so much so that I stuffed myself trying to finish it but could not. We've been to OB Clark's a bunch of times; this is my first review of this cute local bar and grill. We shared chicken wings which were large and meaty. My boyfriend had the Chef Salad and it was large and filled with meats, cheeses and tomatoes. He said it was very good. I ordered the OB Combo sandwich which included ham, turkey, salami and cheese. Our server suggested ordering it hot and I'm glad I did as the melted cheese was a nice flavor with the warm meats. I had a cup of chicken noodle soup on the side and it was excellent, not salty at all and filled with noodles, carrots and chicken bits. Vodka cranberry and iced tea for our drinks and the vodka was strong. This is a good place for a group to go and there are plenty of sports on the many TV's. There are times in my yelp reviewing life where I am left speechless. This is one of those times. From the moment we walked in the door we were transported through a portal where beer flows and wings are the coin of the realm. OB Clark's is such a place. As tourists we were met with much suspicion as we sat down on the amazing sports filled patio. Some friends from the area recommended "dirty wings", so we ordered just that when prompted by a very indifferent waiter. After the first bite, a second plate was ordered, as well as second pints of the house beer. The food was memorable enough that we required a token, an article, or even a chochski to remember the night. Our skeptical server showed up with a stack of OB Clark Merch for our perusal. I selected a black trucker hat and my son a white golf hat. At that point we knew our server was a true believer. The reason for his wariness of us was clear now: OB's know what they're good at and don't need to prove it to anyone. Hockey Night, the lager recommended by our waiter grows on you as you sip. The wings, crispy, spicy, salty, but tender. The environment: quiet now, but obvious it can get rowdy when called upon. My son's fraternity brothers from the area recommended this spot, and I can say with full confidence that their stamp of approval holds up. I will be wearing my OB's hat with pride. read more

OB Clark's is the number one place my husband has told me about in St. Louis that he loves since he moved to Virginia. So I knew we were coming here when we came to town last week. Thin pizza in a square shape with provel cheese which you can only get here bc it's a mixture of three cheese that is sweet with the tomato and gives a smokey flavor to the pizza. I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was HUGE. Tons of meat loaded on top of white bread sliced in half with tomato, lettuce and cheese. Standard sandwich but fresh and good served with some wonderful tart and vinegary coleslaw. YUM. They have a nice patio on the back side if you want to sit outside on a nice night and have a bustling bar area or other seating on the other side of a bar wall if you want a bit quieter experience. Blues hockey photos and memorabilia all over the walls inside. Apparently, when they won the Stanley cup they came to OB's after to celebrate. So this is an institution! I was invited to this sports bar by an old friend. He is a regular here and really enjoys the food. We had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to it, so I don't know accessible it is to people with physical limitations. I would suggest you call ahead to find out. The place was pretty busy so we seated ourselves, and were greeted promptly upon doing so. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Our first drinks were comped and that was an awesome touch. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich fries and a salad. It was much more food than I needed. The grouper was good, but I thought the blackening could have been a little spicer. Speaking of Thursdays, if you're expecting service, I recommend lowering your expectations to the floor. Honestly I just came in because I had a gift card from my birthday! Nice big area for tables, lots of big tvs to watch the game on. We ordered some alcoholic beverages, and they were good and strong. We just got some apps, the chicken wings were excellent quality. Love the cheese bites! They came with marinara, but I asked for extra ranch, perfect pairing. Placed a to go order containing toasted raviolis and dirty wings. The raviolis were meh and not the best I've heard had, the wings were super solid though!! The overall experience of this place is way too confusing though. I called in my order and on their website and on signs in the parking lot it says call to let them know that you're there to pick up a curbside order. when I gave them a call they said oh no you actually to come inside to get your order. Totally fine, but when you go inside the place is complete chaos. I sat at the bar and asked one of the bartenders if she knew if there was a pick up ready for me. She said no she didn't know anything about it and said I would need to talk to the person I spoke to on the phone and asked me if I knew their name... which i don't even think they told me. Finally a couple of minutes later the person who took my order came around and gave me my food/ took my payment and i was on the way. They were nice overall though so didn't bother me too much. Leaving the parking lot was a legit nightmare though. They have an attendant who sits there rain or shine to help direct traffic, but in my experience all he did was make it even more difficult to navigate through the lot for all of the drivers trying to enter and exit. At one point i was trying to pull out as someone was trying to pull in and he ran to both of our cars and screamed at us out of no where to go to a complete stop so he could tell us where to go... instead of just letting me back out of my spot and leave so they could take it. I really wanted to like OB Clark's because it seems like a cool spot and it's close to my new place. There's a large sign when you walk in that says to seat yourself, so my group found a table out on their patio since the weather was nice. After about 15 minutes no one had come by our table so we popped in to the bar to order some drinks and ask if we order food at the bar as well (we hadn't been here before so none of us were sure how it worked). The bartender was really rude to us, told us multiple times we needed to "relax" but then informed us a waiter would come by our table. It was pretty busy at the bar so we grabbed our drinks and headed back to our table to wait for someone to come by with menus. After a total of 45 minutes waiting, no one came by our table. A few waitresses walked by but didn't notice us trying to flag them down, or made eye contact but walked away. We didn't want to try and go back and order from the bartender since she had been rude to us previously. It's pretty obvious that this place has a lot of regulars (staff knew people at tables nearby and at the bar by name). Unfortunately it seemed to us if you aren't one of those regulars, they don't really care that you're there. I can't comment on the food here because unfortunately we didn't get to try it. read more

We were in the area and wanted to try something new as I kept hearing this was a great bar so we decided to give it try today. Saying we were disappointed is an understatement. We sat on the side of the wall away from the bar area. The bar area did seem to have a good energy while we were there. The service was terrible and the food wasn't much better. She literally walked closer to the couples table, looked at the woman's food and then told us yes. Talk about awkward cause they looked at her like what the hell is she doing? I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was just "blah" - nothing to write home about. Basically a split chicken breast with one slice of cheese - no red onions, no lettuce or tomatoes, etc. Maybe its good for sports viewing and drinking a few cold ones but for anything else, I am just not sure. As far as sports bars go, this has to be one of the better ones I've been to. The service was top notch, as others have noted, and the food is pretty well executed standard bar food. Generously-sized chicken fingers, the potato skins are 10/5, and chicken wings are perfectly sauced. We only did apps and beers last night, but I thought the pizzas looked pretty delicious and a few menu items piqued my interest, so I will be back to try out some other options!
