Went for lunch on weekday. Bar n grill was packed. Ordered a soda & burger n fries. Big thick burger. Nothing special but decent burger. Waitress was attentive & brought refills several times. Atmosphere is sports bar. Good place to catch a game.

OB Clark's bar and grill is a restaurant located in Brentwood. It's a seat yourself restaurant that always has a nice crowd every time I have gone but I am always able to find a seat in a few minutes. The ambiance is that of a sports bar with plenty of TV's showing all different sports games. The waitress Ashley was very attentive even though she had her hands full with other tables. The menu is not a big menu but there is something on there for everyone. I had trashed wings for an appetizer and they did not disappoint, for my main meal I ordered the Mandarin chicken salad with a poppy seed dressing. It one of the best salads that I have had at any restaurant. It's a pretty big salad so much so that I stuffed myself trying to finish it but could not. The prices of the food is reasonable as well.

Came here to watch several games (aka drink some beers, eat bar food, and yap) and this is the spot to do it. We got here early to snag a table around 545 and I'm happy we did! I ordered some draft beer, but they have a variety of items to drink. Our server was sooo attentive despite the place being so packed. Vibe was good and the pizza was good, great spot to chill.

We've been to OB Clark's a bunch of times; this is my first review of this cute local bar and grill. We shared chicken wings which were large and meaty. My boyfriend had the Chef Salad and it was large and filled with meats, cheeses and tomatoes. He said it was very good. I ordered the OB Combo sandwich which included ham, turkey, salami and cheese. Our server suggested ordering it hot and I'm glad I did as the melted cheese was a nice flavor with the warm meats. I had a cup of chicken noodle soup on the side and it was excellent, not salty at all and filled with noodles, carrots and chicken bits. Vodka cranberry and iced tea for our drinks and the vodka was strong. This is a good place for a group to go and there are plenty of sports on the many TV's. The owner also owns The Hive in Creve Coeur which has a similar vibe and menu.

Pizza is amazing. I'm a big Imos fan but this might be better! Tons of toppings on the pizza. Also had the trashed wings and they were amazing. Service is always so good at this bar, they never let your drink empty before getting a refill. Great sports bar and music is also good

A group of friends and I came in on a Tuesday night. The place was not packed but it had a decent crowd. Our waiter was very attentive and came by frequently to check on us. We got a few buckets of beer throughout the night to drink. For food we just got some appetizers. The food was average it wasn't anything special. I'll come back for the drinks and atmosphere.

This thin pizza is soooo good!

OB Clark's is the number one place my husband has told me about in St. Louis that he loves since he moved to Virginia. So I knew we were coming here when we came to town last week. OB's did not disappoint. We came later in the evening around 9pm for a few pizzas and a sandwich. We easily found a large table for 5 and our waitress got us drinks and took our order really quickly. The food was out in no time and the pizza was just as good as I expected. Thin pizza in a square shape with provel cheese which you can only get here bc it's a mixture of three cheese that is sweet with the tomato and gives a smokey flavor to the pizza. I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was HUGE. Tons of meat loaded on top of white bread sliced in half with tomato, lettuce and cheese. Standard sandwich but fresh and good served with some wonderful tart and vinegary coleslaw. YUM. They have a nice patio on the back side if you want to sit outside on a nice night and have a bustling bar area or other seating on the other side of a bar wall if you want a bit quieter experience. Blues hockey photos and memorabilia all over the walls inside. Apparently, when they won the Stanley cup they came to OB's after to celebrate. So this is an institution! If you want some quality bar food and St. Louis style thin "cracker pizza" this is a gem.

Blackened Grouper

I was invited to this sports bar by an old friend. He is a regular here and really enjoys the food. We had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to it, so I don't know accessible it is to people with physical limitations. I would suggest you call ahead to find out. The place was pretty busy so we seated ourselves, and were greeted promptly upon doing so. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Our first drinks were comped and that was an awesome touch. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich fries and a salad. It was much more food than I needed. The grouper was good, but I thought the blackening could have been a little spicer. My friends were super pleased with their meal. They have plenty of tv screens available for your viewing pleasure. It was ice cold in there, so definitely would have been accommodating to a larger crowd . Overall great experience

One of the best sports bars in town. Not a chain. Decent food. Casual vibe. No politics. Good enough for me.

The smash burgers were good. About half of the fries were good and the rest were overcooked. The cocktails were good! Our service could have been a little better. Our server was somewhat efficient. We took the first table available, which happened to be in the middle of the entry way. It was a rather odd placement, but it beat having to wait! Our server was prompt and immediately gave us water and menus. Since it was late, I opted for something light and chose the blackened white fish that came with rice pilaf and veggies. Score for being healthy and fitting my macros without having to substitute. My boyfriend got the hot wings and a gyro salad, while his friend got the chicken kebabs and a salad. Their food came first while mine came later. I sampled a piece of the gyro meat and it was quite tasty but had a taco flavor, which I found odd considering we were at a Greek restaurant! My dish was good. It wasn't that blackened but it was still seasoned well and had great flavor. The vegetables were a bit basic and could have used more seasoning. Aside from that, the dish was a hit and our service was great. I'll for sure be back.

It is a Trojan horse for one of the best burgers in St. Louis (my wife says I'm being dramatic for calling it THE best; I say I am not NOT going back for another). We enjoyed everything we order: the pork belly burnt ends and cashew chicken wings, and a coffee & cardamom old fashioned that sounds like a personality disorder but tastes like a vibe, smoky, a touch sweet, and very drinkable year-round. The Sam Elliott burger, BBQ sauce, bacon, crunchy onions, brioche, is named for a man who has never disappointed anyone, and neither does the sandwich. And the meatloaf is NOT your grandma's brick: tender, charred at the edges, laid over silky mashed potatoes with broccolini, perhaps closer to a chop steak than a loaf in the best possible way. Vibe is farm-chic: old church pews, repurposed interior doors, a proper bar up front, plus a patio and rooftop for when the weather cooperates. Fun fact -- it's named after the blue duck Billy Madison paints in elementary school, which is a fantastic piece of trivia and tells you absolutely nothing accurate about the actual restaurant. 4.7 Stars. Picking Nits: the counter-order setup is efficient, but it sets expectations in the wrong direction for the first 90 seconds, you brace for fast-casual and instead get something considerably more ambitious. Food comes out fast once you've ordered, which is great if you're hungry and slightly jarring if you wanted a slow, lingering dinner. And the Billy Madison naming is charming trivia but entirely misleading as a vibe preview, no complaints about the actual restaurant, just the branding expectations it sets. If The Blue Duck were a character: Ron Swanson. Hear me out. If Ron ate here, he'd be suspicious of the entire experience until his first bite of protein -- the counter ordering, the repurposed doors, a burger named after a fellow mustachioed American, all of it registering as potentially too clever. Then the Sam Elliott hits his plate, he takes one bite, and the skepticism dissolves into the quiet respect of a man who has found his people. Looks rustic. Has strong feelings about meat. Secretly sophisticated -- plays saxophone in a jazz club under a fake name, builds his own furniture, would 100% approve of the farm-chic decor once the protein has spoken. Presents as simple. Isn't.
