I have been a huge fan of their chicken strips for many years, although I had not visited for at least a year... until today. Today's chicken strips were completely different, and, unfortunately, not in a good way. The chicken was very dry and tough, and the sauce (Hot Mama) was bland and unrecognizable. I am not sure why the change, but it is very disappointing as they had the best chicken strips I had ever had, but now they are well below average. O! Wings Plus has some of the crispiest fried chicken wings I've ever had, which is especially impressive because we didn't try them until after a 20 minute drive home. We tried both boneless and bone in wings - both were really tasty but bone in was definitely the better of the two. There are a lot of sauces to try from, but the best we tried was the O's original. It had a tiny bit of heat, mixed with tangy and sweet flavors. It was super sticky and coated all of the wings really well. I'm not a huge spicy person and this sauce was delicious to me, but they have some spicier options if you are someone who loves heat. There can be a wait while they get your order together, so I'd recommend calling and placing your order so it's ready quicker. I ordered my second meal from O wings! this time via Doordash for a virtual holiday lunch at work. It was... not good. I am so disappointed! The chicken was overcooked and the texture almost inedible. Both my boyfriend and I remembered the sauces being AMAZING but both the buffalo and parmesan garlic were just meh. The breading was also not good. To top it off the Dr. Pepper that came with my combo was flat and pretty syrup-less. I am not one to order delivery ever, so maybe this was a one-off delivery dud. Been craving for some Korean chicken and I was so glad to find out about this place. I ordered more then I can eat because I wanted to try three different flavors. I got the Thai chili lime, O' Original and Parmesan garlic. My two favorite was the Thai chili lime, a Southeast Asian inspired sauce combined with tart lime. The O' Original, red chili and brown sugar caramelized over the wings in a tangy sweet sauce. I didn't care too much for the parmesan garlic too much. It's not bad but you really can't eat more then two and be like it's too rich. The wings are covered with parmesan garlic. Don't forget to add on the Moo. I love those pickle radish. Hole-in-the wall spot that is an ABSOLUTE GEM for chicken wings. They have a solid amount of other food as well, but why venture out when the wings are sooo good!! Their menu is written on the wall, and all of the chicken wing flavors are placed on a spectrum of spice level. The wings are cooked upon order, and they are fried on the outside to give them a solid crunch. It takes about 15 minute for them to make the wings, but they are 100% worth the wait. The space is a little basic, but they have very colorful and fun decorations and plenty of seating. Owners are Asian and have blended Asian tastes with classic wing flavors. Came here for some wings. I ordered the 10 pack buffalo wings and the garlic wings. I asked for a container of blue cheese after I had already paid for my wings, and they informed me that they had to charge me. I asked for two containers, and they asked me small or large? So I said 1 large. They charged me for two large containers, and I told them I only wanted one large blue cheese. The worker didn't know how to remove the other large container and started speaking a different language to her coworker. I didn't think this was the nicest thing to do since you were just speaking English the whole time. Overall, the wings were ok. Great wings, mediocre Korean food. The wings are crunchy and flavorful. Surprisingly, I don't care for the bbq, which is usually the safe (and delicious) choice everywhere. The covering isn't great to me. The teriyaki, however, is saturated perfectly and ever so spicy. The original is fine too. Great ranch dressing. The Korean food has been a disappointment each time. The meat is somewhat gray and mildly flavored. I had a taco the first time and the Philly the second time. Did not finish over half the Philly. But people aren't looking up this place for Korean Food. So I will still give it a 4 because most will find the wings satisfying. I'm a huge wing fan and feel I should be more satisfied with these, but my husband was blown away so I think a four is a fair split. Mac and cheese wasn't bad (nor amazing). read more

Tried to order the previous week only to get an answering machine that said nothing about closing early. Thinking they were bust we drove over to order at 6 pm on a Friday, and it was closed. They advertised open until 730. You should change your machine to reflect that fact Tried again the next week, ordered 3 of the Korean taco specials with boneless wings. Got home and the "wings"are now pieces of breast meat, not the large tender like wings of the past. Plus there is now an upcharge for them yo cut up my chicken. Almost 14.00 now per order. I am sure that owner will claim "Pandemic" for the issues. But if your customers are used to the way they were, what's wrong with being upfront about the change? Won't be back. read more

Decided to try O' Wings, because I was tired of the same ol' places. This place was interesting with a very unique menu. U can order Chicken Wings & get a order of Fried Rice in the same place. They have some of the meatiest Chicken Wings I've had anywhere!! I ordered the BBQ Chicken Wings 10pc & I am officially addicted to them. Their Mac & Cheese is surprisingly good also & Yes, it's homemade not a box or can mix. I would say that their prices are a tad pricey, but everything is inflated these days. Since the change in ownership, O Wing has been on the decline. It used to be our go to place for wings, but each order the last 6 months is worse than the last. They've changed the sauce recipes on Buffalo and Beast Mode and it tastes like bad/sweet BBQ sauce. If you like Buffalo wings, don't waste your time here. read more

I no longer live in St. Louis but whenever I come back for a visit the first thing on my mind are these wing!!!! Hot Mama is my favorite flavor, slightly sweet, slightly spicy. They are SOOOOO good. The Garlic Parmesan are very unique covered in melted Parmesan cheese. These bone in Wings are not breaded but they are cooked nice and crispy. The tenders are huge and filling. Try O! Tasty fried wings with a nice selection of sauces from fire to sweet. Garlic parmesan sauce pretty darn good too, and awfully rich. The boneless wings are big hunks of tender, breaded chicken breast. Actually a lot more meat for a cheaper price than the traditional wing. Same sauces available for them. Mac n cheese was a good homemade version. But I always find them so bland. Can't places that do their mac n cheese season it up. Adding a bunch of salt & pepper did make it much better. I was so ready for this...my visit to O Wings! I have not been here for a while, but this place seemed different. The service was nice as always, but I had to wait quite a bit longer than expected after I ordered online. My returning impression was that the place is not as sharp as it used to be. Unfortunately, it seemed a bit worn and dirty. I watched them prepare my food, which was wings & philly with fries. Ugh-ugh! Where Are the Gloves?! The kitchen looked dirty. As the lady was going back and forth, completing orders and delivering food, she would resume preparing food without washing her Hands!! No, no, no, no, no!! Do you understand the amount of sickness is resting on all those surfaces just waiting to make someone sick?! I NEVER lick my debit card, a countertop, a food tray, or a plastic bag... The reason is obvious. Please do not touch these things and put whatever is on those surfaces into my food!!! I have loved the food here, but PLEASE, WASH YOUR HANDS AND USE GLOVES!!! SMH...I WANT TO keep coming, but YOU MUST DO your part not to serve me an illness!!!! I did watch to make sure her hands did not touch my food; however, the guy was a little questionable. But, I still thought about, "what happened before I got here?" The original flavor was good. The garlic Parmesan was nasty, it is like they took a piece of fried chicken and put it in a mayonnaise jar, pulled it out and sprinkled some Parmesan on them. We have ordered pick up from here twice and both times the foods were BOMB. The classic wings are a must at this restaurant (and why not because the word wing is literally in the name). After getting wings here you will never want BWW or Wing Stop ever again. Here is a review of all the flavors I have tried: Beast Mode - they are not kidding when they say it is FIERCE. it is spicy!!! The good kind, but your lips will literally burn. Hot Mama - my favorite flavor. It's got a kick to it but the underlying garlic and sweetness is PRIME. I'm telling you, try this flavor please!! Thai Chili Lime - second favorite flavor, sweet and spicy with a citrus undertone. Bee Bee Q - sweet barbecue flavor, can't go wrong with it. Parmesan Garlic - thick white sauce with actual shredded Parmesan that you can see (not the powder kind), it's rich and thick and flavorful, very good but can't have too many. O's Teriyaki - it's good, but not much else to say, pretty basic to me. By the way, I have to tell you all that their wings are a really good size. Bigger than both BWW and Wing Stop. And lastly, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting at least a small order of the pickled radishes. It is so good, and it is the best for cleansing your palette between different flavors. This is probably more of a 3.5 stars spot, but I'm keeping it at 3 because I don't think I'll return. Wings are one of my favorite foods. I was super excited to see another wing spot to try, especially since it's so close to an amazing Korean spot. Service has been fine the two times I've gone, and the food has too, but neither have been more than just that - fine. I wish some descriptions were a bit more descriptive - the hot mama! for example, described as a "blend of honey and hot chiles" also has what tastes like mayo in it. Both times I've been tempted by the description (I'd forgotten which flavors I'd tried my first visit), and both times I was sorely disappointed. On the last visit, I brought along my family and we also tried the tenders and the noodles (they only have ramen in the winter). The tenders were nice and large, but super thin and undercooked. They come with sauce, but instead of being covered and tossed, they just dumped a glop of it on top of the tender. The glop was both entirely too much sauce but also doesn't cover the wing completely, which is an interesting combo. The noodles were surprisingly sweet. So, the food was fine, but ultimately unexpected. I'd rather hit wing stop next time for terrible service but awesome wings. read more

Great quality wings - they are my favorite in St Louis! And to top it off, it's Korean fried chicken style wings - double fried (I think bc there's no other way for the wings to be that crunchy), crunchy, generously sized, consistent quality across all the wings. Oh and their pricing is very good, especially given their consistency and large sized wings. Their original is a soy/honey glazed which is a standard flavor of Korean fried chicken - their rendition is absolutely delicious. It's mild and super savory but also sweet. I recommend going with this if it's your first visit, but luckily, you can order various flavors at certain levels of quantity. My other favorite is the hot mama, which is a spicier version of their original. I've yet to try the Parmesan garlic but it looks spectacular as the wings are completely smothered in sauce and cheese. It is counter service and everything is cooked to order. The wings are ultra high quality and I seriously can't get enough. Just the thought of the past ordering experiences at chains such as wingstop annoys me due to horrible QC. They also have a large menu of other items such as noodles and other Korean snacks/dishes. They even have Korean bulgogi tacos. I didn't think much of it but I ordered a combo before which came with a taco and it was delicious and larger than I expected. If getting a to-go order, I recommend calling ahead to avoid the wait (it's worth it regardless!). I live in CWE and the wings have stayed crunchy and fresh despite the longer drive. This is a small family owned restaurant and I'm so psyched about their wings. You can see the older ahjussi in the back cooking and serving the food. Counter service is also very friendly and helpful - they will let you taste their sauces if you're undecided. I love when some of my favorite go-to places in STL are located in unassuming strip malls. O Wings Plus is located in the same complex as Sides of Seoul (S.O.S.) so this strip mall is basically my happy place. read more

Amazing chicken! My partner and I split five huge tenders. They were fried perfectly and the meat was quality. Upon walking in service was nice but also left out a lot of information. A regular stopped in 5 min after me and no surprise her food was done before mine. Our order took about 20-25 minutes. The 5 big tenders come with 1 tiny thing of sauce. We also ordered a small ceaser salad(short on dressing and average), one pork egg roll(don't suggest) and their fried pickles(our air fryer did well reviving these). When I added it up in my head it was about 20$ but that turned into 27$. I think because I said yes to having ranch? Asked for sauce on the side? It was good food and leftovers reheat great in an air fryer but it's a hefty price tag for fried food in my mind. Maybe you just have to know how to order here. I just really wish the kind woman who took my order would have told me they charge for condiments. I wouldn't have added them- the ranch given is comparable to the ranch I have in the fridge at home. We heard great things about this place and apparently good boneless wings are hard to find in STL...which is weird. Anyway we ordered two flavors, the garlic Parmesan and I think just the hot mama or the Os original. Anyway, it was early on a Saturday, like around 3pm. We drove to get it and before we even drove off we tried them. Not sure if it was an off day or what but the chicken was EXTREMELY OVER COOKED, it wasn't just one it was all of them. By the time you got done chewing the chicken the flavor of the sauce was Loooong gone. It was like biting into rubber someone had boiled for a couple of minutes. Extremely disappointing I want to give you guys another try but the first experience was extremely off putting. So uh yeah. Super gross. read more

O! Wing Plus is a great place to satisfy wing cravings. My only real complaint is that its a pretty far drive away. The wings come out piping hot, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I've tried the honey mustard, O's original, and thai chili lime sauces, and I'd rank them in that exact order (honey mustard being my favorite). Honey mustard tastes exactly as you'd expect. O's original is a sticky, sweet, soy sauce flavor which got a little too sweet at times, but it's fine if you've got other flavors to rotate between. Thai chili lime is a little sweet and tangy, but not very spicy so don't be scared away if you're afraid of spice. Both times I've been here, my order took 20+ minutes to be prepared so I would definitely recommend calling ahead if you're starving or have somewhere to be afterwards. read more
