Bookmark checked off with trashed hot wings (added a side of peanut butter sauce & bottle of Bud select) The trashed wing only come in mild, medium and regular hot tossed in the fryer again to cook the sauce into the wing. The wing were not the slight charred trashed wings some places make them, just sauce cooked in type. The normal hot (hottest you can order for trashed) had good flavor, but not much heat. The peanut sauce reminded me of an Asian flavor when the hot wings were dipped inside. I got a lid and took the rest of the sauce to add to Thai chili eggs to create a more interesting breakfast eggs. Not sure if I want to eat the peanut butter sauce alone on something, but interesting mixed with other sauce/flavors. Bottle of bud select was just $2. With many bottles of large batch beer & only 3 taps, not a beer connoisseur type place so better to pick your favorite cheaper go-to. The building is an old franchise restaurant (I think Shoney's) with some big screens now hung up. Interesting- outside is a large tented area with a fire pit that attracted groups of friend. Looked nice, but I was alone. In the future visits- I would want more people with me to try more types of wing sauces. read more

It's sad that the owner passed, he was great and the service and food when he was alive was great! many a good nights spent at Geo's. but now the food was just ok as well as service, but the real issue I have is the charge they put on if you pay with card. They have the smallest sign on the door that says there's a 3.38% charge on all card sales. but it's an itemized charged pretax. so on everything you order there's a 3.38 charge then a 8.1% sales tax. when you ask them they are short with you because they know it should be a one time charge not on every item and it should be after tax. will not be going back corner tavern has better wings and better service read more

BEST. WINGS. EVAH!!! Ya know, I have never been a huge fan of wings before. They tasted okay, but never good enough to deal with the messiness of them. Until I went to Geo's that is! They are SO good! So MANY flavors, boneless or bone in, and one of the BEST Bloody Mary's I've ever tasted too. They use a Cucumber Vodka, which is what makes it. I LOVE this place!!! read more

As far as wings go, Geo's does it right, fried, naked, and soaked in one of many sauces. (Hot Chipolte Ranch is my favorite) The fries are excellent and addicting. Karaoke nights are a hoot. Geo's boasts the coldest beer in belleville, and I'll tell you I believe it. Prices are reasonable and you always get treated like friends by the Owners and Staff. Well we're bikers and really enjoy going to Geo's every Thursday night for bike night during the summer. They have a nice big parking lot for lots of bikes to congregate and socialize, good entertainment and lots of fun. We always run into someone we know and have a great time there. First off, my family goes here once and awhile so I had high aspirations for this establishment. Lets start with the outside. No big deal, it's an old Burger King turned into a bar. There's a tarp outside for people to set. Looks kind of dumpy but hey, sometimes I get surprised by places like this. We set down and it takes like 10 minutes to order drinks. It takes 10 more to get them! There's like 8 of us but as I look around I noticed our waitress was EVERYONE'S waitress. There's a bunch of bikers in this place which isn't bad but these bikers look rough and later they tried to sell us raffle tickets for a Sam Adams smoker. It was bizarre to say the least. Now onto the ordering of food. We tried a couple different wing sauces and the waitress was kind enough to let us try a few since I had never been there and neither had some others in our party. Once we had decided we ordered. The waitress must have had to travel to Chicago to get the chickens and come back to Belleville to pluck them because it took well over an hour to get our food. We had one refill in that time! The wings were mediocre at best. No traditional flavors. Kind of small in size. Once we were all done it took another 20 minutes to get our checks, which were wrong. The waitress even told us she couldn't void it and shed have to pay for it!! Then the waitress took our checks and apologized for such a long wait. Now onto something almost as strange as the biker who wanted to sell us tickets for his smoker... This old biker lady came up and cleaned up our table. Out of nowhere she shows up and seems to help the waitress. I realized she is probably the owner because she apologized for such a long wait. Overall, when I'm in town I will never, ever eat at this place again! It was terrible. Even though they apologized for the wait my aunt and uncle said its always a long wait. Therefore this place deserves 1 star and I'd give it less if I could. read more

Went today and were told it would be 15-20 minutes for our order to be ready for pickup. Got there after 20 minutes and had to wait another 25 minutes before our food was ready. The customer service wasn't great either since no one said a word to us about our order being late or even an "I'm sorry". Won't get our business again. read more

Well I don't know what this Joe guy is talking about but Geo's is a great place. I've been going there for years, and never once has the place been dirty. The food is always good, and other than bike night the service is good also. Bike night is a little slow but then again they are so packed it's not funny. Another point. They didn't take his girlfriends ID because it was vertical. IL. never prints ID's vertical so the waitress done right. It's called doing her job Joe! Sure they get a lot of elderly people on Karaoke night... So what. You don't like it leave. Geo's has been there for several years with a good following, and to make the comments he did about the fire just shows how much of a douche bag he is. Go somewhere else Joe. If you want a wings place, forgo the local Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings and get to Geo's. Compared to what you get at these chains, Geo's is heads above. Tons of sauces/flavors and you get good sized wings. No wing joint is dirt cheap, but there is such a thing as value! You get it here. Their apps are good, too. Entertainment on the weekends and a weekly bike night. Some of the waitresses are flaky but you wi find that anywhere. read more

I do not like this place. First, their alcohol selection sucks. Second, they forget to charge us for drinks but tell us our tab. After we pay and go outside, the bartender come out, so glad we stuck around, and tells us we owe more on our tab. If we didn't stick around, they would have been just fine. Then, before they close, we are sitting outside waiting for our Uber and they turn off the lights and the heater. Pretty much a final, forget you and we don't give a crap about our guests. Great wings! It's a dive joint but WOW the wings were awesome 1 try the trash wings with any sauce on it. I had the the Carolina wings. They were meaty and full of flavor. The poppers were a bit disappointing but it had tons of cream cheese. The horseradish sauce was good but heavy on the mayo. Service was slow but polite and helpful. Worst experience ever. Went for my son's birthday. Was a slow night (3 other tables) Never got the salad and the appetizer we ordered took an hour, all our drinks were empty. My dad had to go to the bar to get another beer and was greeted with an attitude. I knew our waitress was new so we were trying to be patient. After an hour and a half of being there I tried to talk to the manager. She gave me an attitude and walked away. It must have gotten her attention when we all got up to leave because she stopped us at the door demanding that we pay for our food that we never received. What a joke. The wings here are great, no question. The prices are good, compared to other restaurants I'd say the pricing is less expensive. That being said, the atmosphere is obviously slightly less appealing than chain restaurants. It's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in west Belleville that used to be a fast food joint, and with some great and interesting flavor wings I'd have to say it's better than I expected. As for the ID issues, I'd say I'm with the restaurant. It's their licence they lose if they serve someone they shouldn't. I don't know a single soul who didn't run right out at age 21 and get their licence, and I don't think anyone should expect to be sold liquor without an appropriate licence. You can't fault the restaurant for that. Wednesday nights they have $0.60 wings, and they also offer a punch card to earn free wings. Flavors include 911 super hot, hot jalapeno, hot, mild, trash, BBQ, honey BBQ, chipotle BBQ, BBQ ranch, peanut butter, honey mustard, sweet and sour, sweet and sour BBQ, lemon pepper, garlic butter, garlic parmesan, parmesan pepper, Thai chili sauce, ranch, zesty horse, teriyaki, and my personal favorite chipotle ranch. read more

Less than one star.. Me and My GF went here for drinks one night.. (My plan was to get her drunk enough that I could convince her to sing karaoke while I secrely recorded it on my phone!) yknow good ol fashioned fun! When we went in we immediately knew we were in the wrong place! Firstly there was a big ugly handwritten sign excusing the fact that their "Kitchen" had recently burned down.. however there was another sign stating that they could basically "Nuke" a brat or hotdog for you.. not a big deal.. since we didnt go out to eat.. while waiting 10 mins for who ever was fiddling around behind the tarp to notice they had customers we looked out into the "Lounge" area where there were about 10 elderly people sitting around belting out their favorite 1930's karaoke songs.. however we basically figured that it was like "the family" hanging out in the bar.. the setting was depressing the place was dirty and the kitchen had burnt down.. all I can say is that it is too bad that the fire stopped at the kitchen! Damn fire extinguishers!Finally a lady comes out from behind the tarp and ID's my GF (She is short and had only turned 21 5 months ago.. however she had her ID with her so no problem right? Wrong! the lady said that although it was her ID with her picture and that it was NOT expired she wouldnt serve her because her ID was verticle! We have been going out regularly for 5 months and NEVER had anyone tell us they wouldnt serve her bacause of that! So we left and vowed to never go back...the place is a blemish on the already Pock-Marked face of the westend of belleville.. I truly wish their extinguishers would have failed them! So instead I will go across the parking lot to Mi Casa and get GREAT service good food and drink until my left eye is looking through the right socket and the right looking through the left! I have been working in restaurants for a long time, and never have I been in an establishment that the grease was so thick in the air , reaking before you even fully get in the door. I didn't stay because I couldn't stand the stench, it was as If they were operating with non working hoods for quite a while.
