Lemon Cake looks Amazn'. But a hard pass for me over priced at $8.99. Was too dense, dry, too much oil.

WOW!!! So mad I COMPLETELY FORGOT to take photo's of the Brisket, Chicken, & Turkey Sandwich. All of Which WERE COOKED TO PERFECTION from the Start I was So Pleasantly surprised that none of these cuts of protein were Overly Seasoned... I do not care for a Cut of BBQ to taste like a pit of salt! This was Outstanding, Moist, Tender dissolve in your mouth Delishousness!!! The $8.99 slice of Lemon pie Extremely disappointing & WWWAAAYYY over priced. It was Too Dense, Dry & too much oil. The drink selection was Great "ice cold beer" & wine options. DEFLY will be our Sunday afternoon lunch stop!

On the plate. Brisket. Ribs. Cole slaw. Green beans and sauce.

Situated on the Main Street in Cibolo, Harmons has potential. It's will definitely go back for the ribs and the green beans. I picked up 2, 2 meat plates for hubby and I. I got brisket and ribs, brisket and sausage. The ribs were really good. I love that they weren't prepared with too much of any extra seasoning. The brisket was just so so. Harmons smokes with oak wood which in my opinion doesn't carry much flavor. I prefer hickory. The sausage was not as warm (temperature) as the other meats and beans. So I'm not sure it was warm when I left. The pinto beans were ok as well. The star for us was the green beans. They were delicious and tasted of a grandma's recipe. So good. My Cole slaw was also just ok. Not enough dressing so really just cabbage. Hubbys potato salad was a little better than ok. Good texture but sweet for me. I like a mustard recipe. The kid at the order/cashier window was pleasant. The atmosphere is cool old building vibe. Will I go back. Yes for ribs and green beans and I might try the pork and turkey next time.

Was in Cíbolo today, was looking for a place to eat but due to the holidays few options. But we found a shining star in "Harmon's BBQ", and it was a great choice. As you enter you are immediately transported to an older time, the restaurant has feel of history. After getting a view of the place you notice a good amount of seating for individuals or a group. You walk up to the counter to place your order, this place has a variety of options to choose from. I selected the "Chopped Brisket Sandwich" with a cream of corn as my side. You can sit down where you want or take your food to go, either way you are given a number to pick up your meal. Now the taste, the brisket was tender and very flavorful, the bbq sauce was outstanding, which brought out the flavor of the sandwich. The side, was equally delicious. As I mentioned this place has history, and the people that are responsible for the place are very good people, they give off a cordial atmosphere. Overall this place serves up a great barbecue experience, I highly recommend this place.

Stopped in real quick to pick up some food to take home. Just a half pound of brisket and some sides. I only waited a few min but you could smell all the good smells so I was excited. Harmon's has been in business for a VERY long time and is a staple in Cibolo for a reason. Amazing people, great environment, and really good food. The brisket is as good as you're going to get anywhere locally. The sides are obviously cooked with care as well. We've enjoyed Harmon's for decades and hope to continue as long as we live nearby. I actually go out of my way to get Harmon's, and I don't do that for very many things lol

Great ambiance! The brisket was a bit fatty so I didn't eat much...but the turkey was really good. It was a nice enough lunch, 3.5 stars.

Amazing food with a fun atmosphere and very friendly staff! I had the brisket sandwich that was aaaamazing with Mac and cheese, my MIL had ribs with potato salad and coleslaw, everything was really good! Glad we found this hidden gem!

This was a really great experience. Excellent food and service. The smoke on the meat was perfect and it has a great Texas feel inside of the restaurant. Will go back!

My stomach followed my ears to Harmons BBQ in Cibolo...came to hear the bluesy sounds of Bros Inc. (Jimmy Spacek, Rueben V & et. al) and was also able to slay my hunger with bbq and beer. I had the Brisket Mac and Cheese and my friend had the Smoked Turkey sandwich and both were deliscious. Maybe too many fatty cuts of brisket in the bowl, but that's the luck of the draw when the dish is portion of chopped brisket with bbq sauce spooned over cooked Macaroni noodles and covered in a cheese sauce. It all still blended together nicely and was very scrumptious. The smoked turkey on the sandwich was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The flavor was outstanding. It came doused in a little too much sauce as the bun lost integrity about half way through the sandwich, resulting in the need for a form to finish. All in all, not bad at all, especially considering how busy they were due to the live band. Bottom line: I'll be back for more blues, brews and BBQ! Happy to have this spot in my 'hood!

Hello my fellow foodies…read more I'm about to relax after devouring this deliciousness from Daddy J's BBQ! We ordered the 3 meat special for $14, the sides (Big beans and coleslaw) were extra; making the grand total $19. RIBS (5/5): The ribs were so tender and seasoned to perfection. I've ordered ribs from several local barbecue joints and some were either dry or was too much smoky flavor for me. I'm kicking myself in the rear end for not ordering more. Daddy J's ribs were juicy with just enough of season and smoky flavor. BAKED BEANS (5/5): Beans were tangy and sweet; very flavorful SAUSAGE (5/5): Sausage was hot and fresh but flavor was nothing really to rave about. It tasted like normal kielbasa sausage. BRISKET (4/5): While I'm not a huge brisket fan, I have to admit, it tasted pretty good. I personally feel like brisket should be injected with the same seasoning that's used on the outside. But, I understand most BBQ joints use the traditional way and I'm sure many may enjoy it just as it is. My husband ate more of it than I did and enjoyed it just as much as he did the ribs. COLESLAW (4/5): Coleslaw was cold and fresh. Although, I would have added a little more creamy slaw dressing. Rolls tasted as if they were Hawaiian rolls but that works too To me, it seems as if the ribs are the heavy hitting here! I would definitely visit again, order just ribs and sides.

We arrived 10:58am and waited for 2 hours. I've read of long waits but being with friends, chatting and anticipating wasn't that bad esp. watching the line move along and having awnings along the buildings provided much needed shade. Some window fronts had small ledges that one could sit if you wanted so we did in a couple of places. I brought a personal neck fan and a thermos with iced Coconut water so I was hydrated. If it was later in the summer, I'm not so sure how I'd fare? It's best to come early because some items were selling out by the time we ordered. The first was the Coleslaw and "The Blake" Brisket Taco that included the Coleslaw and BBQ Sauce. By the time I ordered the 1 lb of Beef Cheeks Pastrami to go, I was told that was the last of it. Lucky me! My friend wanted to order some but fini! I shared some with her and my other friend so they could taste it. It was so fork-tender, slightly smoky and cutting into it the color was a deep burgundy-red! We were fascinated by it. I love Pastrami and I know Beef Cheeks are tender when done right so I was intrigued on their take on it. I would order this again! I also ordered 1 lb of the Prime Brisket to go. It was a little drier, less smoky than the Beef Cheeks and I had to use BBQ Sauce for some moisture. The El Tejano Brisket Taco sounded well balanced with the Red Salsa, Avocado Crema, Pickled Onions and Queso Fresco. The Pickled Onions & sauces complimented the smoky, tender Brisket. I actually thought the Brisket in my Taco was more tender than the Prime Brisket I got to go. It was a generous 4-slice portion esp. for $8. I think the Flour Tortilla could be somehow toasted. I bet a Sonoran style Flour Tortilla would be great as it has those toasted brown spots and is flavorful! I have some at home so I'm going to use that tomorrow. The only side that was appealing to me was the Potato Salad. I wasn't sure how it would be prepared as some places drown the Potatoes in a mayonnaise overload. They prepared it with a light dressing with chopped Red Peppers, Pickles and I think some onions & something that made them yellowish so the Potatoes shined. I wanted to try the meats as is without BBQ Sauce so I could enjoy it for its purity. I was given 4 White Bread slices, a small plastic container with onions and sliced pickles, 2 Horseradish sauces & 3 BBQ sauces. I'll try the Horseradish another day. When you order and initially pay, they just take your order and you move down to the next station for sides and prepping your food. I didn't know about the "Garnishes Available" with Pickles, Okra, Onions, Jalapeños and Bread til I read the sign afterward. My friends both ordered the "Chinese Sticky Rib Plate" that came with a "Cucumber Smash Salad". The Ribs were a bit salty and mentioned that they weren't this salty the last time they came. They had me try it and after a few chews, I could see how the smokiness and salt could be a bit much after a while. The Cucumbers were cut in chunks in what reminded me of a Korean Chili Sauce type of preparation. I just showed my receipt for the clerk to put the styrofoam box full of goodies together. My friend got up later and asked for some Okra. The Okra had a masculine smell to it so I only ate one piece. Near the utensil station is an area where you could buy t-shirts and I think some frozen or refrigerated items/meat? I saw a SF 49er white plaque so I asked the employee if the chef was from the Bay Area but he said he's from Texas and is just a fan. I told him I'm from the Bay Area and am a fan too! The bathrooms are wide and use drying fans vs. paper towels. I prefer paper towels esp. if you're going to wash your hands w/BBQ Sauce or grease. We walked out in the back area where the smokers were located since we could cut thru to the back parking lot in the cross street. Happy to have tried this and happy they won 2 Michelin Bib Gourmand Accolades in 2024 & 2025 and won Texas Monthly's Best BBQ Restaurant in 2025!! It's exciting to see local restaurants being recognized esp. for their BBQ. When I first visited in 2007, there were only a handful of BBQ spots that people would recommend. Now they're elevating their game and critics are noticing and on the map!! Support local!! To note: While in line, we saw people walking out with bags of food to go. Best to go earlier as possible, otherwise later in the day would be fine if can't wait in line. It would help to highlight the directions on how to order & locate them near the Menu Boards.

It could be that the order from the air show overwhelmed them and left them little strength to give attention to our order so I'll give them a little grace and give them two stars instead of one. We won't be back.
