The Burger was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The cheese cheater exploded as a good Lucy should. A 10/10 experience. This location is terrible, Got my order wrong then had the manager curse me out. Contacted the Hardee's HQ but no luck. James is the manager, tall, skinny white guy. He's also a jerk with 0 customer service skills. My order was wrong and they forgot my drink, so I went up to the door that said "dine in is open" but the doors were locked and the chairs were up. No mind, just want my soda. I knock on the window and the girl who took my order came to the door and I told her about my missing soda. She remembered and quickly got it for me, stuff happens. I went back to my car and bit into my burger and there were missing ingredients, so I Brough the burger with and knocked on the door again. This time there was a skinny white guy looking down at a folder talking to his people. They looked up and he didn't. No one moved, so I knocked again, without looking up, he shook his damn finger at me and made a "go around" gesture WITHOUT looking at me. So I knocked again but with the key ring so it would be louder as I held up my burger to show that I had already bough food and there was probably a problem. He looked up and mouthed "I don't care, go around". ((I'm a nurse and was dressed in scrubs, so I don't look like I'm some crazy person trying to attack anyone)) I didn't want to get in line, but now out of principal and wanting to talk to this guy I got back in line. By the time that I got to the speaker box I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he had left he didn't want to talk to me. I asked if it was the skinny white guy that told me to go around and I was told "yea his name is James". I can hear him leaving the store and yelling at his staff by the time I get to window. They ended up getting me a new burger. it was irritating that this place couldn't get it right the first time and wouldn't come to the door. My whole transaction was 40 minutes. and was 20 minutes late for work. Also this location is no longer a 24 hour location, it's labeled as being open until 11p on the store front however I've gone here on several occasions and they're closed by 8p. I have no idea how to tell when they're closed because they have no signs and nothing says what time on the internet. bad business. I like Hardee's burgers, but this location doesn't care about the customer. read more

During my recent visit to the Hardee's establishment located in St. Paul off Hamlin Avenue, I encountered a rather troubling experience due to the behavior of the young woman attending to customers at the drive-thru window. Her attitude was decidedly unprofessional and discourteous, which was quite disappointing. Throughout our interaction, she displayed a lack of respect, including rolling her eyes and making various unflattering facial expressions. In terms of physical appearance, she bore a notable resemblance to the pug character from the movie "Men in Black," complete with earrings and weave extensions. After she handed me my order, she slammed the window shut with an air of indifference and walked away, leaving me feeling as though I were the one in a low-wage position. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism in young employees working in a customer service role, particularly at the drive-thru window. Sadly, I must express my disappointment, as I have been a loyal customer of Hardee's for over 20 years. This experience marked the first time I encountered such a significant decline in customer service quality. read more

Hardee's has good food but please don't go to the drive-thru on Thursday nites. Why? Because the Jamaican woman who takes the orders is a crazy pain in the butt!! If you're a mom like me, you already know: toddler behavior is unpredictable at best. We ate, chatted, people-watched, and watched the drive-thru line go from long to gone while minding our business. The food was exactly what I expected--nothing life-changing, nothing disappointing. I stopped in around 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 3rd, and there were only two other people in the restaurant, so it was definitely not busy. My waitress was very friendly, and I ordered a basic cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, which I paid an additional $3 for, along with fries and a drink. The food came out quickly, delivered by someone other than my waitress. Unfortunately, the gluten-free bun was extremely dry and crumbly. It seemed either well past its prime or like it had been sitting out for quite some time. When I took a bite, the bun literally disintegrated and fell apart. (GF Buns will do that when old/dry) I waited quite a while for someone to come by so I could mention the issue, but my waitress was busy elsewhere, and I didn't see anyone after my food was delivered. I eventually had to remove the bun completely, which also meant losing the sauce from the burger. Unfortunately, the burger itself was dry as well and tasteless. The fries, however, were delicious! What was most disappointing was that I didn't see another staff member while I ate, so I never had an opportunity to address the problem. I finished my meal, paid my bill, and left. Overall, I was really disappointed with the quality of the burger, especially after paying an extra $3 for a gluten-free bun I could not eat.
