Food this mediocre should really be cheaper. Recently I've had a ham & swiss and, a separate time, a "Nashville Hot" chicken sandwich. Both were unimpressive in flavor and yet these were nine dollar sandwiches. I'm not a snob about fast food, that's why I take a crack at Hardee's once in a while, but you can eat cheaper and better in this neighborhood. Stopped in for breakfast and ordered a sausage biscuit with egg. The sausage patty was overcooked and tough, the egg thin and rubbery and the biscuit fell apart in my hands. At least the hash rounds were decent! This is probably a good policy to follow: If you wouldn't want to eat it yourself, don't serve it to a customer! read more

Survey of fast food takes me here. Again, in this current cycle I'm trying to compare similar establishments. I find Hardee's food to be quite tasty. I'm especially partial to the Mushroom Swiss burger. Really not bad at all. Other offerings are generally above average. Sometimes for being on busy I-94 it can seem a bit deserted. Waitstaff are occasionally baffled resulting in delays. But generally they seem content to work here. Cleanliness not an issue in the times I've been in. Haven't tried the drive-thru so can't comment on that particular experience. I think that this may be the sole Hardee's location in the metro. If so I'd say we could use a few more. read more

Definitely NOT what I thought it would be. Very lonely and deserted fast food restaurant that very few people go to it seems....which should have been a sign. I approached the window to order food and was kind of rushed to make a decision. I ordered a cheeseburger, which in the picture seemed to have all the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion) but only got a burger with cheese and pickles. I also ordered regular fries but got curly ones instead. For a place with such little business, why can't I get the right food? I arrived here at 10am to get breakfast. After 10 minutes or so of no movement, a car ahead of me gave up and I made it to the speaker. They told me that they were out of breakfast food and not serving lunch until 10:30. What kind of place just decides to stop selling food? I was VERY surprised that they did not respond to my survey when I told them I got food poisoning from one of their breakfast sandwiches. This Hardee's looked desolated with maybe one customer there. The guy that took our order had the appearance of one of the casts from Children of the Corn (the Midwest for ya). We had a special request for our fries to be cooked longer and he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience in the world for him despite the place not having a line or anyone else to serve. I give 3 stars because by principle I can't give a fast food joint anything more. Hardee's is is my favorite fast food burger joint, but I don't go often. This visit was brought to you by their new fresh baked buns. I must say it made their burger a bit better, I always get their mushroom swiss burger and it hasn't disappointed me yet. Vanilla malt is also very tasty, highly recommended. Final word. I will only go if I am in the area and have a strong craving for some greezzzy goodness. No Complaints. OH! Went to the drivethru on a sunday am for breakfast. Arrived at the spot to order and was told they wouldn't be taking orders for 10 minutes. It was 10:30 so we asked if they would still be serving breakfast in 10 minutes. They said yes. 10 min later the person comes back and we proceed with ordering. They cut us off and say no more breakfast food, now it's lunch time. We tell them what they said before and the person just says no, now it's breakfast. Except we can't see what the non-breakfast food items are because the menu is still set to breakfast. So we order from memory. Then we order and pay, almost $30 for 2 burger meals, and are instructed to go park in the lot and wait where we stay for another 15 minutes waiting for our food. As we're waiting every car behind us in the drivethru is also instructed to park and wait. Eventually the whole side of the parking lot fills up and no one emerges with our order for 15 more minutes. Rude, unacceptable service. Close this location down and avoid it at all costs in the meantime. Burgers were incorrectly made and so oversalted they were inedible. read more

Horrible service. I had ordered 5 chicken strips through the drive thru and there was one truck behind me. I was asked to pull ahead and park in one of the handicapped places (strange request but I happen to actually be handicapped and had a hang tag to put in my window) and they would have someone come out with my food. I went here last week as I got a coupon for two of the small Western Bacon Cheeseburger meals. Upon entering the drive-thru I noticed some guy was harassing waiting customers in their cars. I thought maybe he is begging for change so I ignored it. I got to the speaker and tried several times to place my order only for the gal taking orders could not seem to get it right. I tried to correct her multiple times and she still got it wrong. As I was waiting to get to the order window a crazy dude can shouting and threatened to kill me if I ordered from this place as it is taking food out this kids mouth. He even tried to get into my car. He finally left abd I pulled up to the window and was given a receipt for two double bacon cheeseburgers and 4 drinks and 2 3pc chicken meals. I did try to tell them about the crazy guy but got laughed at. I chose to ignore it and mice so I could get my food. I explained again that I had a coupon for two small meals and that this was incorrect. The employee just stared at me then said what should I do we made the orders already. I told him to change it and he shut the window and started talking to the gal taking orders. I finally got another receipt and the order was still wrong and more than I wanted to pay. I asked them to fix it but was told they did not understand what I wanted. I finally just out of pure frustration and fear the crazy dude would come back said give me what is on the second receipt. This Hardees was pretty solid. The girl that helped us at the counter was truly great. She was very friendly and helpful. The food was all pretty good too, but it was the ONLY time I have ever been to an actual Hardee's (Carl's Jr. biscuits are always done poorly) and the biscuits were not fluffy and airy, they were flat and almost a little hard. I love Hardee's and Carl's Junior but this location has to be the worst fast food restaurant on the face of the earth. It took 15 mins for me to get my burger and the staff was yelling at each other and swearing for all patrons to hear. Furthermore, every order ahead of mine was wrong and had to be corrected. After my trip to Sonic I got to thinking what is my favorite burger from a national chain? Hardees, I love the charcoal flavor, and the heavy wax paper wrap makes it easy to handle. It does not appear that they have shrunk the burgers over the years, like other places have. Prefer the curly fries. Haven't had the milkshakes, but they are made with hard ice cream, so they may be better. For some reason I prefer the drive thru here. It feels like I wait longer when I order inside. I don't know if they still offer fish, but they shouldn't. A handy bathroom right as you walk in. I don't come here much. It's a convenient, yet strange location. First time at this place, and the service was great! I pulled in the drive through the cashier greeted me over speaker and I asked for a moment to look over the menu. He was very polite about it and was ready to take my order when I was. He politely told me my total; and off I went to the window. Once there I accidentally confused my drink with another I had in hand and told the cashier I asked for a different kind of soda(turns out my friend had my soda) & I told him I was sorry and to disregard my comment. Nothing fancy here just a Hardees, but it is a nice location in the middle of the city. Best things here are the Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits, or the Apple pies.
