This is what just happened here.... We went through drive through and ordered two ham sandwiches and fries. We noticed the truck ahead of us pulled back around and watched us get our bag of food. He stopped us as we pulled around and asked us if we got ham sandwiches. Apparently he had got our order and took out a sandwich and ate some fries and realized he ordered curly fries. He watched them put our bag back on the counter which he thought was odd they did not throw it away. He pulled back around and watched them put another sandwich in it and hand it to us. My husband went in and expressed our disgust. They acted like nothing was wrong with what they did, but did refund our money. They still did not put it in the trash. read more

I'd first gone to this location a couple of years ago on the way to Indianapolis to Saraga International Market to buy some Asian groceries. This location is somewhat convenient as State Road 9 hasn't quite reached the Indianapolis level of hustle and bustle. It's one of CKE's (Carl Karcher Enterprises) newer store designs and it's a bit more ordered than usual. Sometime, over a year ago, they added the Red Burrito menu, though it doesn't have the tiny salsa bar that the others do. Red Burrito, like Carl's Jr. Green Burrito stores, has a California-style Mexican menu. e.g., I ordered two beef tacos in a combo meal with refried beans with chips and a medium drink and that came to $4.49 + tax or $4.85. The tacos are a good size, and you can order in hard or soft. What I couldn't get from the person at the counter was whether the soft tacos had flour or corn tortillas: "well, they ummm are tortilla shells." Yeah, okay, that was helpful. The drawbacks were that the restroom looked as it hadn't been cleaned in days, which you should be able to see from the photo. It wasn't mlldew, but dirty nonetheless. When I went to order, there were a bunch of people standing in place, and some voice from below eye level said "We'll be right with you." and someone else appeared momentarily. That seems odd that they weren't ready at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. They had a tv and it seemed to be playing a company-approved recording. Ordered a double order of biscuits and gravy, a regular order of biscuits and gravy, and an extra gravy. Mind you, a regular order comes with two biscuits. Apparently a double order is just double the gravy not double the biscuits. Makes sense? No. My mom came back home with our food and we have three gravy's (as expected) and TWO total biscuits. I drove back with my receipt and explained the situation. She said she'd give me two more biscuits (which is what I should've got to begin with). I get all the way back home and see I was given ONE BISCUIT. Any other place would more than likely give you a few extra for your troubles since this was their wrongdoing. Not only did they NOT do that to make up for the extra trip back to Hardee's, but they didn't even give me what they said they would after driving an extra 10 minutes back. And on top of that, I attempted to call 3 times before I drove back, and 2 times after I went back the second time and every call was ignored. WTF read more

I usually go through the drive thru and always have a nice experience. Today I came inside because the drive thru line was a mile long. Today we got breakfast. The man at the register named William the shift manager seemed very angry and seemed to hate his job. Very grouchy and stressed out when not only taking your order but also dealing with other employees. The service taking the order was speedy but delivery the food was very slow and took a long time. Once you order your food you wait while in the lobby standing around starring at the floor and the kitchen watching William run around I got the low carb breakfast bowl it was very good as usual and my wife got a biscuit sandwich and it was good too read more

Terrible service. No one was wearing a mask or gloves. The lady at the window was very rude. I quit coming here before COVID because of the service but I thought I would try again became my niece really wanted it. The food was hot and good but the service and the safety standards need work. Since when do we have tip jars at drive thru fast food joints? I filled out the survey and customer service called. When asked-I was told they can't ask for tips but people can give them to help "boost the employee income". What? Try paying them for their labor Hardee's. They have a tip cup and a sign in the window requesting tips. I feel bad for the employees that they are subjected to this to earn a decent wage. read more

Unbelievable. We ordered breakfast through the drive through this morning. We finally received our breakfast after waiting for nearly 15 minutes, and no "sorry for your wait" or anything. On top of that, the food is cold and the biscuits are hard. Really??! What were we waiting for?? This is not the first time I've had such issues with this location, so we don't come here often. This morning we decided to risk it; clearly, that was a horrible decision. Stay away from this one! Edited to add: We gave this place one more shot. We went through the drive through for breakfast. Upon beginning our order with a bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit, the person on the other side of the intercom nastily said, "I DON'T HAVE ANY BACON, HON." 1) Tell us that before we start ordering; and 2) Don't be so doggone nasty about it! Every time I travel from Columbus to Chicago or vice versa, I stop and eat at this Hardees. It is nicely located between several gas stations and other restaurant options (for people who crave something else). I've been traveling for over six months and the bathrooms have always been cleaned. The dining area is also very clean (although not pristine!). Staff is usually friendly, and when not they are not rude; they are just in a hurry. It can get busy at times but the wait for the food is not too long. I recommend the turkey sandwich. It is very low in calories and is delicious! I think it would be perfect if they put avocado. I also noticed that they added a "taco" section, which makes the restaurant sell like fake Mexican food or taco bell, but apparently it's good because I always see people getting food there. read more

Staff wasn't friendly. Ordered a biscuit and gravy meal, wanted coffee but was given a regular cup. Staff in back were bickering with each other and the cashier woman seemed like she hated life. Hash browns were good but me loaded omelette biscuit was ehhhh. Only out here for court. Thank god I live in Indy. read more

My bacon egg and cheese bisquit. The biscuit was doughy and not near as expected. Done on the top and bottom and yuky on the inside. And they must know they get bad reviews so you don't get a receipt. I should have suspicioned a poor meal follows no receipt. read more

Has been a year i been back due to Nasty cold food. Tried it today. Asked that i have a fresh sandwich and not rubber bacon. Frisco was as cold as can be. Cheese cold not melted. Tried calling 12times for no answer. Not one person was there for them to be busy. Threw my food away on way to work. I recently drove from Ohio to Illinois and stopped by this restaurant. I was Leary from the reviews but wanted to form my own opinion, and I'm glad I did! The best service I've gotten at a fast food location in years (even left a tip). The manager at the time was excellent, name was Chris, and his employees were awesome as well! Typical Haree's food. The staff is friendly and the dining are is always clean. I am not sure why its always so cold inside though. Doesnt seem to matter what season you go in, the AC is on full blast so bring a light jacket! read more

Hardee's - Fast Food Near Me - Greenfield, Indiana

BAD SHIFT LEADER, I love Hardee's. There is one particular Hardee's though that fails to consistently meet expectations. This is the one at 1881 N State st in Greenfield Indiana. I was at this location today at approximately 1:45 pm, and there was a problem putting my order correctly into the POS system. I think there were some wrong buttons accidentally hit. One girl was attempting to help the lady but they needed a managers card. Justin who had on a filthy uniform came and swiped his card. It was still not corrected and they asked him again. He swiped it again and it still was not correct. I had a combo and there were 2 drink items on there, a sweet tea and a Doctor Pepper which I did not order and were $1.59 each. When they asked him to correct the last drink he was clearly agitated. He said what do you need now, and then Good Christmas and mumbled something else I could not hear all while slamming his card through the machine. This order still had a sweet tea on it. I told the lady that I wanted my twenty dollar bill back. She tried to apologize but I told her it was not her fault and I told her that I did not want to further agitate the shift leader and that I thought he was acting was very inappropriately. I know he heard this but ignored it. A lady waiting for an order at the counter also said she was not happy with how the shift leader acted and a man seated at the booth next to the door said he would never return. If I treated my subordinates in this fashion then I would be removed from that position. It is uncalled for and I know he embarrassed both of the ladies. I would like this addressed and I am afraid that he will not treat them correctly. Justin is very lucky that this did not happen two weeks ago. Want to know why? Because I am a mystery shopper and I shopped this location on Oct 1st for lunch. read more

For a quick serve restaurant, the food is very good. I worked for Marie Callender's restaurants for 10 years & I understand "suggestive selling". this Hardee's takes this to a whole new level by shoving more food items down your throat. I tell them "No I don't want that" more that I tell them what I actually want. If you are not paying attention & have your mind on something else while ordering, they will drain your wallet of all money. When I was in a month or so ago and not paying attention when I ordered a combo meal, the seasoned veteran behind the counter asked me if I wanted my order to be medium or large. I actually wanted the small but the transaction happened too fast to do anything about it. This Hardee's takes suggestive selling to a military type of selling. read more

The food was delish and most importantly, excuse me if I get the name wrong, but a very tall African American Fonzo? It looks like he is in one of the pics but I cannot say enough of how amazing of an employee he is. He went out of his way to make sure my order was correct and made his appreciation known to my boyfriend who is a veteran. I will definitely miss this hardees!!!!
