Loved the whole concept of this restaurant. The building itself was super unique. I love when buildings are repurposed. I was also super impressed with the menu and the prices. We did have about a 30 minute wait, but it was a Saturday and we didn't make reservations. So a wait was expected but wish there was more of a waiting area. But waiting allowed me to check out of the food. I did struggle making a decision. I ended ordering the Tater Kegs. They tasted like loaded potato skins in a tater tot form. They were delicious. For my main entree I ordered was a pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich was massive. It had a good amount of sauce and pork wasnt dry. It was a really good sandwich. It was our first time here and we enjoyed the restaurant's vibe and the service was great. The drinks were good and the price was only $10 a martini with tons of selection! The food was so-so. I ordered a grilled chicken BLT wrap and the chicken was... weird. Very stretchy, wet and like the weirdest texture so I couldn't finish it. Came here for a Friday lunch at the recommendation of my father-in-law as a midpoint between where we live. The space is an old grain elevator with a lot of history that has been converted into a massive restaurant and bar along with spaces for private events. Because of how large the space is, I am guessing it is probably a challenge to heat as the location of our table seemed a little chilly on this particular cold day. Our server was fantastic at taking care of our table in addition to patrons at the bar and apparently call-in orders as well. She took the time to kindly answer all of my father-in-law's questions about the facility in spite of her various duties. The menu is rather extensive with an abundance of meat-focused offerings. My father-in-law ordered the Taco Salad ($14), which looked huge with it's fried shell for a bowl and massive about of beef on top. He said it was very good, but very messy and could have used a larger plate or tray to collect all of the falling parts. My wife chose the Veggie Flatbread ($15), which was generously covered in cheese and toppings and given a favorable review as well. I selected the Taco Triplets ($14) with shrimp for my protein. They were 3 tacos buried under iceberg lettuce and pico along with chips on the side with cups of sour cream and salsa. The shrimp had good flavor and I liked the chips. It was a very filling meal. Came in today (04/18/26) for my boyfriends birthday lunch,, was told 20-25 min wait which was fine we waited about that long to be sat, when we were seated it took a few minutes for our server (Emma) to greet us when we did another member in our party mentioned to her that it was my boyfriends birthday if they do anything.. she mentioned yes a dessert but never once acknowledged that it was his birthday and you guessed it he never got the dessert mentioned either, all of our food came out hot and fresh my grandfather was missing his coleslaw we had to ask for and then my grandma had to ask for ranch twice,, we have been here multiple times and always love the food. Had the Easter special which was prime rib with baked potato and salad with cheesecake for dessert. We had some really good meals in the state but this was by far the best. Second visit here, as we were passing through for the holidays. Sadly our experience wasnt good. The table was arranged in a weird way at, putting me in the middle of a walkway, so I kept getting bumped, server saw this and commented, but didn't do anything about it. Table right next to us because the "dumping table" for other tables dirty dishes instead of bussing them into the back. I got the Mac and cheese burger, and was asked if I wanted pickles. I said yes and when it came, no pickles and barely any Mac and cheese. We were tired and hungry, but left disappointed. Spent almost $100 for the 3 of us with tip. Place was busy with lots of tables going, and staff was running around a lot, tvs were on but had no volume or closed captions on, ao not a great environment. Have a unique experience in an old Feedmill. Noticed the little details like the glass floor that gives you a view into the underbelly of an old historic Feedmill. Notice that the bar area that they use parts of the old conveyor and the buckets on the walls for storage. Lots of good history and things to admire. Onto the menu. Solid choices with pizza, sandwiches, and a variety of sides. The mini mess burger was amazing, but had to be eaten with a fork and knife. Never ever skipped the potato cakes as an appetizer when you visit here. Imagine perfectly crisp, oversized, tater tots, loaded with cheese and bacon inside. Your tummy will thank you. read more

We had a great experience here. We went for a late lunch/early dinner split a wedge salad, which was amazing. They put plenty of goodies on it. Great blue cheese. Serve it with blue cheese dressing and French. My husband is not a blue cheese guy so we asked that they put those on the side. It is the only time I eat iceberg lettuce is in a wedge. We both opted to get flatbread pizzas he had the loaded meat pizza I got the chicken bacon ranch, but had them drizzled the barbecue on top instead of ranch. It was delicious. Their barbecue sauce is sweet with a little bite to it very good. Riley was our server, and she was fantastic happy energetic, pleasant checked on us at the appropriate times. We will ask for her again. The only problem we have here is the noise level anyone with hearing issues will struggle a bit we have brought our parents there and it is hard for them to hear conversation because the echoes are so much. I don't know if there's a way for them to put some reduction sound panels in or something that is the only negative we see with them. Their pork chops are amazing. Their ribs have always been great. Their burgers are great. Only thing anybody that has gone with us has not cared for is their spaghetti and meatballs we know two people that have gotten that and not cared for it not a fan of their stirfry personally tried it did not care for it. This place is pretty neat, it's a bit off the interstate but definitely worth the extra couple miles to enjoy this place! The food is delicious & I highly recommend the potato kegs! It's their rendition of tater tots but much much better! The servers are always nice & great at their job, my drink never goes empty & that's a plus! The flatbreads are delicious, I had the chicken bacon ranch & it was delicious. Their burgers are great too! Once, it wasn't even busy, and no one acknowledged us. We left. We really want this to be our hometown go to bar, but they need to up their game. Very attentive and easy to talk to. The food was really good and a very good portion. I left full but not stuffed. If we didn't have to drive back to Kentucky now, I would have done dessert. I had the sweet and spicy burger, yes there is blueberry mustard just try it. It was a good balance with the sweet and spicy. The kids meals comes with a cookie! I'm easily delighted when a restaurant makes an extra effort like that, especially when it comes to kids. And my kids like cookies, so they were won over by The Depot. The kids menu also has a lot of options for sides, including house-made potato chips, fries, tater tots, seasoned vegetables, mashed potatoes, applesauce, cottage cheese, coleslaw, spicy coleslaw and salad. And a Shirley Temple is one of the beverage options for kids at no additional fee. My kids were thoroughly satisfied with their meals -- mac & cheese with mashed potatoes, and mini corn dogs with chips -- and loved what they ordered. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, and it was good. It was so packed with stuff that I had to give up on eating it with my hands and just stick to a fork. But it was very tasty and came with fries and pickles on the side. The service here is excellent, and even though they were incredibly busy when we visited on the weekend during lunch, we were seated quickly and received our food relatively quickly, too. There are many TVs playing sports all around the dining room, so there's something to look at while you wait. read more

Our weekday lunches of burger & fries combos ($18-ish) were top-notch, as was the service. The "Ladies Sangria" ($9) was well-presented and tasty. The prices seem just right for this level of hospitality and experience. I congratulate the Depot for providing a balanced ambiance as evidenced by the various sorts of patrons: sports-bar types, seniors (like us), some working folks presumably on their lunch hour, etc. This place feels welcoming. The low-key country music stayed in the background, and the many gorgeous monitors showing sports were all on mute. The decor is authentic and visually interesting but modern where it needs to be. I am sorry to say that my party did not have the best experience at The Depot. I would like to start with the positives. We called in advance and they were able to reserve a table for our party of 14. The service was fast and friendly. The building itself is so cool and spacious! They also did a great job of highlighting the history. I did also enjoy the housemate chips. Being Hoosiers, several members of my party ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. After one bite it was evident that they were spoiled. Every member verified that by either taste or smell. Our Waitress was apologetic and took another order. She also sent the managers apologies. This was disappointing and it is difficult eating anything from a place that serves spoiled pork tenderloin. I wondered if anything I ate would get me sick too. It was also disappointing that the Manager never came over to our table to personally apologize or provide anything for our trouble. I was surprised with how busy it was, but even so, we got seated within 25 minutes, the hostess was very nice and answered my questions, it seems like a pretty chill spot, really nice vibes, I love how they have the place decorated. It gave me BWW vibes but without the extra noise. Now to the best part, the food, the 1906 together was absolutely delicious, the way the onion rings gave the burger a crunch made it so worth it!! I will say though, the brisket itself, not so flavorful, very underwhelming. As for my wings, they were a bit dry, but at the bottom they had some of the Nashville hot sauce, so it made up for it. Well what a spectacular spot in Greenfield. This would be worth the drive if your not there. This is a great place in a repurposed grain elevator in the heart of Downtown Greenfield. The decor is amazing and offers views of the past. Then you move in to the food. I ordered a smash burger that was bacon and a perfectly. Over easy egg with tater tots. My dining companion had a smash burger and the homemade chips. The waitress was great and very attentive. Our drinks weee kept full without ever having to ask. This structure is awesome looking. It looks like it has a story to tell. I love the ambience inside. The restaurant has a nice sized dining area, a full bar with seating, a patio that overlooks a nice park, and a covered beer garden. I decided to hang out a bit and eat in the dining area, which has televisions place throughout. Would be a nice place in Greenfield to catch a game. They have a full menu and lots of signature adult beverages. You with find sandwiches, burgers (smash and traditional), wings, ribs and much more. I got a Philly (Indy) steak and cheese with a side of fries and an extra side of the spicy cole slaw. My food was prepared quickly. I would say about 5 minutes, give or take. The sandwich was not like your traditional steak and cheese, but it was still flavorful and tasty. I really liked it. The fries were really good too. I will just say that the cole slaw was a bit different and an acquired taste. The service started off slow, but eventually picked up. Most of the staff was friendly. The bar tender who was also tag teaming with another woman as my server was very attentive. This is a cool place in an awesome spot overlooking Depot Park. I know it is awesome on a nice night when they have music in the park. I enjoyed my meal here and will differently be back soon. read more

I called at 1:30 pm to make a 6 pm reservation and was told you have to call 24 hours in advance, after talking to the manager and telling her who I am she booked reservation. A group of ladies and i went last Thursday. I tried to call 3 different times to let them know we were coming, and never got answer. However they were able to accommodate us. The portions are large, i ended up taking half my mushroom Swiss burger home. We stopped at the depot on our way home from Indianapolis. Great joice. The food was outstanding. Ribs fell off the bone and I loved the coleslaw. My son tried the tenderloin and it was great. The service was top notch and the servings were so large. We did order a piece of their chocolate elevator cake. A one pound piece. So large and we took our home.
