McAlister's Deli in Greenfield offers a variety of sandwiches and, during my recent stay, I had their McAlister Club Sandwich and their Turkey BLT on two separate days. Both sandwiches were delicious and - to my surprise - I actually enjoyed their Honey Mustard spread in the McAlister Club sandwich. Because these were online orders, the sandwiches weren't presented at its prime. I went online and ordered my food through the app. I had a free kids meal after spending over $100 to earn points and they forgot my whole entire meal basically They forgot his mac & cheese. They messed up his salad. They forgot his cookie. They forgot his drink. I had a veggie potato they forgot the butter they forgot the sour cream they forgot the extra queso, and the queso seemed very spoiled !! When I opened up the wrapping, and I took a taste of it, it was sour and bitter and lumpy, and had white lumps all over the queso It was so disgusting. I didn't even feel safe eating it. I had to throw out a $15 item. My sandwich was missing and I had asked the lady to get me a side full of the ingredients I ordered for my sandwich And by the way, this is to fix the counter they forgot all of this And then wrap it up in the back of the kitchen they're just laughing and making jokes honestly saying some pretty racially motivated things. It's such a shame to witness such poor service, especially after the place just opened the past two years I asked the manager to call me back in store. The girl took down my name and number. I don't even think she gave it to anybody because I never received a call. I tried calling, but sadly by the time I'm off work it's during rush time and I understand why they don't take phone calls during that time Spent about 50 bucks $40. My husband and I tried the new location in Greenfield last night and the food and service were phenomenal!! I have only been to a McAlister's Deli once before and it was quite a while ago, so it took me a minute to check out their whole menu and make a decision (they have so many great options to choose from!) The staff was all very friendly and had great customer service, it's nice to see as it's something that is sorely lacking in a lot of places these days. Our food came out and part of my order was incorrect, so the server took that part back and had a new one brought out right away, along with a cookie for the inconvenience. I was pretty excited about that part, cookies are my love language, lol! The food was absolutely delicious and I look forward to going back again soon. It's a little pricier than what we normally do for fast dining, but the quality is so much better than typical fast casual places and the service was excellent, too, so I don't mind paying a little bit more for things like that. We recently went to McAlister's with two of our friends! They have such a variety of food, they can satisfy anyone! We all got something different to eat, however, we are all members of our elite club "Luv the McTeaster". We have 4 members . We feel our food is fresh, it is tasty and we go there happy to be enjoying each others company! We noticed a couple of times people were complaining. We watched and we think they had a bad day at work, although I believe it was I70!!! So, when they arrived they took it out on McAllister's. A plus! You may possibly be entertained! Moving on, we are partial to all that they offer. We know that if you say politely that you feel you only got a half of a cup of soup, they will make it right! They are busy and sometimes have people training new people, we have found if you are able to be patient, or kind or both you will get your food and it will be hot or cold depending on what you order. If you are in a rush, you might want to pull in to a local fuel station and grab something at your speed and hit the road. If you can wait say 10 minutes for your food you will enjoy it! We ordered online at 7:48PM with a window pick up. We arrived a short time later and the parking lot and restaurant were completely empty. Odd for a Saturday night. The spud we ordered smelled burnt and was totally inedible. The salad we ordered was decent, but not surprisingly they gave us the wrong dressing. We ordered two iced teas and the tea tasted old and sour. The worst part was when we were at the window talking to the young lady handing us our order, another young lady interrupted the young lady helping us to ask if she could clean the bathrooms when she was finished. I'm not sure why that conversation warranted interrupting an interaction with a customer, but it was really bizarre. I'm sure this place will close like most fast food establishments in Greenfield. Between kids who don't want to work or care and absolutely absentee management or even an adult, this place is pretty much what people have come to expect for service and food quality. Tried the new McAlisters in Greenfield with delivery. The sandwiches were ok like the one on eastside of Indy on Washington St. But the you get more meat on sandwiches on Washington St. The sandwiches were a little thin on meat. The delivery was fine, but the cost was very high, two sandwiches were about $23 then Taxes, delivery fee and Tip that the app included was nearly $35. I did see online that the delivery fee was free in October every Saturday and Sunday. This was not true. I saw the add on Friday and we ordered on Sunday for lunch and did not get free delivery. Had a horrible experience here. The service was horrible. The girls up front are rude and they just think you're a burden to them. They are always on their phone. The one manager that works nights her name is Angie. I do believe is always talking to the girls about sexual things and let me remind you. Most of these girls are like under the age of 18 that work up front and talking about how she can teach them. How to give b****** showing pictures of other things to them and stuff like that I was at the counter trying to talk to someone up there. When back to the my right over here I could hear her and see her talking to other younger girls and overheard their conversation that they were having. Very unprofessional and would not recommend anyone to go here. I had sent an email review in to their corporate and had gotten an email back which I was very appreciative of but I tried to go back the other night and it was basically the same experience with the girls up front and the one manager were still working there. I don't feel comfortable taking my four kids or my grandmother for that fact to this place with the type of conversations that they have coming on. I also Red on here that in the last couple month or two there's been a bunch of bad reviews about the place about the way that they talk and the service of the ladies up front and it seems nothing has been done. The young white skinny kid in the back has the one of the most foulest mouths I've heard. I don't care if you want to talk that way, but you shouldn't do it to where customers at the counter or anyone else can hear you. Night management seems to treat the employees like crap in the back but she loves to take care of the young girls up front. I hope that some of the parents of the younger kids that work there see this post or it gets back to them so something can be done.
