Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 We were thankful to snag a last-minute reservation! That said, there was a little confusion--we thought we had reserved a table on the boardwalk patio facing the ocean, but we were seated in the main dining room instead. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and calm despite a very busy dinner rush. Each of us ordered a different burger, and while they were juicy and cooked correctly, the overall flavor and ingredient quality didn't quite match the higher prices. The ambiance, however, was outstanding. The restaurant feels like a mini rock-and-roll museum, with memorabilia from several famous artists to explore while you wait. Great vibes and excellent service make this spot worth a visit, even if the food didn't quite wow us.

Sparkle Berry Sangria and Classic Paloma.

Embedded within the casino, the place is cool, and oddly enough, simultaneously open and cozy. Shayna was an excellent, friendly, and attentive server. We only wanted drinks because the bar food seemed generic. My girlfriend enjoyed her Sparkle Berry Sangria. I had a Classic Paloma, but it was not spectacular.

The food here was pretty good! I enjoyed the overpriced nachos and my beer was nice and cold. The service was on the slow side and figuring out how to get a table was a pain. They gave us a great booth though so that was a plus. The deserts were Fairly large and delicious!

Food always hits the spot here. It's located in the casino, I think it's usually packed because one of the few places that takes any food vouchers receipts on top of free play. The drinks are strong, the food is filling. If you come here late night they usually have a band rocking out. Highly recommend this place, but pro tip check your comps at a near by kiosk because chances are you might be rewarded to eat here! Sorry for the lack of pictures too, I remembered half way through!

The original bacon cheeseburger

This was a great fast late lunch option. We were seated quickly, the food arrived promptly, and our server was efficient. The burger was cooked to perfection, the French fries were crispy and flavorful. The bun was a little on the dry side for my liking but overall it hit the spot. The brownie sundae was huge. It was beautifully made. Other restaurant patrons came by to admire it. It was so generous that I actually could not eat the whole thing even though I saved room for it. Overall this meal made me very happy.

There was a 45 minute wait on a Wednesday at 8pm would recommend a reservation. Drinks - ordered vodka club with splash of lemonade, I was informed they only have strawberry lemonade and to a nice surprise even had some strawberry pieces- it was great. Food is pretty much what you would expect out of going here. I was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings which were cooked to perfect crisp waiting to be dipped in ranch. Service was on the slow side but server was pleasant. Enjoy the slots while you wait.

Was not expecting to like the Hard Rock Cafe since I don't typically value a burger and fries more than other cuisines that takes more skill to prepare. It was a good and tasty burger and the salad was prepared well too. Also we had a dining credit so free makes it even better!

10/10 experience! I got sat down as soon as I walked in & it was around 11pm, & there was also a live band performing a lot of rock & roll hits & taint request. My meal was delicious I added the picture below & I had the electric blues for my drinky drink plus a lot of water with lemon. I will deff go back I had dessert a lot & I left around 1am .

GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH

I had the slowest service here, which was especially frustrating because when people stop at a place like this for fast food, it's usually for something quick and convenient not a drawn-out dining experience. If I wanted that, I'd go to a sit-down restaurant. That said, my chicken sandwich was delicious. I ordered it with a side salad but received the wrong kind of lettuce. Our waitress, Quashirah, was incredibly sweet, polite, and did her best to fix the mistake not once, but twice. Unfortunately, the kitchen kept sending out the same incorrect salad, and she was too busy to even let us know what was going on. She was truly a bright spot in a kind of otherwise disappointing experience. The outdoor seating area is way too dark, we had to use our phones just to see what we were eating. Despite having a large staff on hand and the restaurant not being at full capacity (inside or out), the service was still very slow. On top of that, our food took way too long to arrive, and even getting the check was a slow process. That said, our waitress was the saving grace of the visit, attentive, polite, and trying her best despite the kitchen's missteps. She's the only reason I'm even giving this review.

Been here many many times and Brittney is their best server by far . Excellent from beginning to end !

florentine omelette

Enjoyed breakfast here. Although the main appeal of a performance and the nicely lit stage wasn't experienced this early in the morning, it was still a cool restaurant. There are a lot of encased clothing items from different singers/performers to look through. I ordered the Florentine omelet which was good! Surprisingly my favorite thing on the plate were the home fries. Those potatoes are well-flavored and I finished all of them! The omelet itself was good, on the well-done spectrum of egg omelet. My friend enjoyed the pancakes, except we found it disappointing it cost extra to upgrade the plain pancakes to banana pancakes, when the "banana" seemed to be the aesthetic few banana pieces atop the pancakes. Service was nice as well; our server checked in the right amount and was very friendly. As a tip, the Hard Rock Cafe celebrates birthdays! There were a couple of parties celebrating birthdays, so the staff makes an announcement and has the entire restaurant shout "Happy Birthday!!" Meanwhile my friend was celebrating her bachelorette, and didn't get a treat :/ that's okay, since it's not like we asked for something specific.

I was just told you serve breakfast all day but looked on this page and a review said they missed the window for breakfast, which one is true?

They may have been speaking about the buffet. There are other restaurants there that serve breakfast all day.

What are the busiest times on a Tuesday?

Dinner time.

Do they really take reservations?

It was opening weekend so it was packed. I'm not sure they are as busy anymore or will ever be but on that weekend yes they were taking reservations.

There's also a large outdoor area if you want to sit outside and enjoy the evening. The staff is fabulous, and I always love seeing Valerie when I go in -- she's the best. Cocktails are consistently amazing and always so yummy, and the food never disappoints. It's perfect for popping in if you're solo, date night, girls' night, and if you're lucky, y'all can snag the big green couches in the middle room. And of course, you always have to go say hi to the bobcat when you're there. One of my favorite spots around -- highly recommend.

The drinks are priced on the higher end, but the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes it feel approachable. We also love that they offer seasonal and holiday cocktails, which is right up our alley. We brought Luna along and sat on the patio, which was a nice option. I would love to see heaters added outside to make the patio more comfortable on cooler nights. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Fireside Chat (served warm), made with Four Roses Bourbon, Croft Tawny Port, apple cider, orange juice, grenadine, turbinado sugar, allspice, and clove ($15). I really enjoyed the flavor profile--warm, well-balanced, and perfect for the season. That said, I was a little disappointed that my second drink wasn't garnished nearly as nicely as the first, especially given the price. Flavor-wise, though, both were very good. My husband started with the Gingersnap, which includes Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch whisky, Disaronno almond liqueur, butterscotch liqueur, spiced ginger syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, cookie rim, and nutmeg ($16). He enjoyed it but felt it was definitely a one-drink cocktail due to how sweet, creamy, and heavy it was. He also ordered the Smoked Maple-Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon fat-washed bourbon, spiced maple syrup, tobacco bitters, and a salted brown sugar rim ($16). This one was a miss for him--too sweet, with the maple and smoke overpowering the drink, and not much bacon flavor coming through. That said, the presentation was excellent; watching the smoke being lit was a highlight, and I even grabbed a video of it. Our total came to about $71 before tip, and we didn't order any food, so it's definitely on the pricier side. Still, for the ambiance, creative cocktails, and overall experience, I think it's worth it--especially for a relaxed night out with a more elevated feel.

Wow what an experience! I'm in Charlotte for the weekend, and my good friend's colleague…read morerecommended we come here after dinner for drinks. There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.

It's a small intimate setting and I do love the dark aesthetic they did. Gives it a swanky vibe and makes a great date spot. But they were burning incense in the tiny space and it was overwhelming. The other bar guests sitting next to us agreed. *They did finally pick up on it and the staff moved it toward the kitchen door* Staff was friendly as well, though, it was busy and looked as if they had a trainee in tow, so attention was lacking just a bit. So why we came: The drinks were average to me. One was weird (Pineapple Fried Rice) and I just couldn't get it sit well on my palate - and I tried - sip after sip. But the mixologist saw my struggle and swapped it out for a different one. I did like the Don't Shy Away - it was an interesting take on a margarita with a strong carrot base. The Whispering Dove was a take on a Paloma and I couldn't find the lemongrass infusion on my palate. So I found it pretty basic, but pricey. So overall, decent. And I might stop buy if I was stuck in the area again.

I had high hopes for this restaurant when I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, but…read moreunfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. While I take full responsibility for arriving 15 minutes late, I was shocked at how rudely the hostess--who we later learned was the manager--handled the situation. Rather than a simple acknowledgment of the delay, or improbability of getting a table, she made a point to shame us, emphasizing that accommodating us would be an extra burden for her. This set an uncomfortable tone from the start. When she begrudgingly seated us at a table that had somehow magically become available, she made another unnecessary comment, implying that I should do my part to not make her job so difficult again. My partner was immediately put off and suggested we leave, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance, assuming the manager might just be having a rough night. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The food, best described as uninspired frozen bar fare from the main Duckworth's kitchen, took over 30 minutes to arrive--and even then, it was served before our drinks. When the drinks finally did arrive, they were nothing exceptional. I ordered a French 75, and my partner had a Paloma, only to realize that even the drinks had come from downstairs at Duckworth's. Given the restaurant's supposed reputation, I was surprised that it didn't have its own bar, unlike how things are set up at The Cellar. The only redeeming aspect of our visit was our waitress, who was pleasant and professional. However, what puzzled us the most was that despite the manager's initial reluctance to seat us, nearly half of the restaurant remained empty throughout the evening. With at least three or four servers working in a relatively small space, it was clear that staffing wasn't the issue--so why the hostility? It was hard not to wonder if other potential diners had been similarly turned off by the manager's deplorable attitude and the underwhelming menu. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths--both literally and figuratively. Between the lackluster food and drinks, and the uncalled-for attitude from management (she is bald and was wearing a dress on the evening of 2/14/25 at 9:30PM-11PM), I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
