This is the hamburger place by the boardwalk entrance to the Showboat Casino, it actually has a service window accessible from the boards. They close before the closing hours posted and will put a sign in the entrance "section closed". They stop seating even before this and will ask you to wait outside (in the lobby) for your food. My server was nice enough but the staff overall seemed a bit glum. I got the Bricker Burger to go, a double smash patty burger. Think it was 13 and a slice of cheese will cost you 2$, so it's a bit expensive for what you get. They asked me how I wanted it cooked which I thought was funny because most smash burgers are pretty much well done. Which mine was despite saying medium. It was still a decent burger just a bit pricey. But I guess that comes with the territory. I didn't get one but they have milkshakes which run $14. Stumbled upon this joint while walking along on The Boardwalk. we ended up making two visits as we enjoyed the food served and it was priced reasonably compared to a lot of the other spots. They have two separate menus: a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. Unfortunately, you can only order from the breakfast menu before noon and you can only order from the lunch menu after 12pm. On the first visit, we ordered the from the lunch menu. -Boardwalk Burger ($12) - Can't find it on the menu with the photos I took, but that's what it's called on the receipt I kept. From what I can recall, it had both a 1/4 lbs burger and roast beef. -Tater Tots ($6) - We ordered a full order, as apparently there's a half order. Fried to perfection. That's all you need to know. On the second visit, we ordered from the breakfast menu. -The Titanic ($10) - Highly recommend. This was what I wanted to order originally on the first visit, but was told they're not serving breakfast. The tots were topped with scrambled eggs, chipped steak, fried onions, and cheese. -Bricker's Breakfast Sandwich ($7) - two eggs cooked over-hard, served on a round roll with a choice of meat and cheese. Don't remember what meat we got as it was not for one of us. -Breakfast Burger ($12) - 1/2 lbs burger served on a round roll, with pork roll cheese and topped with an over easy egg. It's a pretty standard burger which can become a mess with the over easy egg. -Giant Belgium Waffle ($8) - My gf actually loved this as it was super fluffy. She got it with seasonal fruits, which were $1.50 extra. The service is hit or miss. Some of the staff that works there are super friendly, while some of the staff members are grumpy. Pretty much my main complaint. Also good to note that they charge a togo service fee of $1. Don't know what that's all about and why they don't disclose that. read more

We wanted something quick and not too expensive to eat and this fit the bill. I got the turkey burger and was a little disappointed as to how thin the patty was but it was okay, but their sweet potato fries were really good. My boyfriend had the boardwalk burger and he enjoyed it but it was super messy. Disgusting service. The lady at the counter asking what do i want and she wanted me to repeat it because the lady has air-pods on her! I told her to remove it then she laughed at me said it doesn't have anything playing. Such a silly answer and this 9.10 milkshake that took forever for me to have taste just fine. We came here to have lunch. It was nine of us so it was a big table. First of all they were really nice and we did not have to wait long. I ordered the sliders of fried chicken. When I bit into the sandwich it was still frozen. This was quite surprising and I returned the sandwich. My waitress took the sandwich and when it was returned it was perfect. The cheese was perfectly melted and the chicken was cooked properly. The fries were ok but they needed salt. The hot dogs were also quite good and the bread was toasted and tasted buttery. Lori our waitress was nice, helpful and patient. We choose this restaurant because it was lot cheaper than the other restaurants in the hotel. I am not sure if I would come back. I really wanted to try their breakfast but by the time we were ready to order it was too late for breakfast. read more

I went there when attending NJ Horror Con during the late hours. I will admit the staff didn't seem that all that happy when I arrived as it was around closing, which I get that too. So I went with their burger and it was delicious. The meat cooked to perfection and the vegetables were crisp. Although I should have not expected much on the Jersey Boardwalk, but we have always liked little diners. They have signs outside and the menu they gave us had breakfast on 1 side and lunch/dinner on the other. We pop in to grab some breakfast on a Saturday before noon and after sitting there for 10 plus minutes we are told they are not serving breakfast. No where on the menu or the signs posted outside does it mention times. We have been eating breakfast here for years at this point. Very affordable $6 deal that comes w 2 eggs, home fries and toast. Dog friendly, as ours usually gets a scrambled egg on the arm. Same staff, which are always accommodating and very nice, have been here for years. Is it a 5 star Michelin rated eatery, no. But for what you get, it's well worth a stop by. We always do! read more

Food is tasty, a bit expensive for what it is, bit you're in AC on the boardwalk so that's expected. The portions are quite big though so it's not too bad. We had breakfast. I ordered eggs scrambled home fries bacon and toast. The eggs were good I didn't receive home fries I got extra large steak fries The bacon I received 3 slices at $1 per slice they looked like one slice cut in half. The toast was sliced in four two pieces had butter. They charged a fee of $1.50 for take out. It is what it is. A chill back spot on the northern end of the boardwalk at showboat hotel. Plenty of food options ranging from breakfast to burgers. We had the pizza that was on special this time. A large pie with a 2 liter of Soda for $16. Was it a great pizza? No. Was it good? Yes, especially considering being on the boardwalk and the price. What truly makes me leave this review was the staff. Very nice and genuine people who were great to deal with and have a conversation. Sometimes in life, we can forget how important our fellow people are. The 2 ladies working here brought me back to earth. Kudos to them for their real and honest attitudes. I can't wait for this "season" to begin!! Knowing the owner (& you can probably meet him anytime he's there but...) I bet he's been traveling around, gathering up new ideas & menu items that are almost just right for his place. Maybe after he's done adding a few personal touches, making a few adjustments on some measurements, & then of course he's gotta give it a name(!) & it's gotta be one that's suitable to the "menu's theme" before he can even consider adding it. Seeing how he's already got what I'd call an, "options abundant" menu, this is no small feat!? Besides... rumor has it that he's gone & added quite a few "new & unique ice cream goodies" to his menu for the spring/summer season so can't wait to check those out... one at a time! LoL!). C'mon down to the cool end of the AC Boardwalk & feast(!), I know this place hasn't been around long but for the coupla years it has been here, it's been fantabulous to visit & I've enjoyed every moment there (almost, LoL nothing is 100% perfect ya know)! Taking into consideration that they figured out how to stay open during the pandemic & doing so without breaking any rules or regulations that were put in place but in fact, made sure everything was cleaned, sanitized, & up to whatever standards the Govt said it had to be... only makes me want to go here more for their efforts! Consider how many places took the easy route by closing & taking the govt $$ being offered(?!?). This biz stayed open so there was some kind of variety to choose from where takeout food was concerned, ensured it's employees had work if they felt comfortable enough to go to the restaurant, and managed to still change up the menu with new and interesting dishes making you feel like you gotta go back to try whatever is new this week!! Just your typical hole in the wall type of place to get a substandard burger. The staff was nothing to rave about. There were one or two people that actually tried to make some sort of "customer satisfaction". However, the rest of the staff had no pride in their job. We waited to be seated for over 15 minutes with booths and tables wide open. Several staff completely ignored us as we waited to be seated. No greeting. No "be right with you". We felt invisible. The waitress seated us and gave us our drinks and told us it would be 15 minutes before she would be back to take our order. Really???? The burger was ok, the bun was ice cold and we observed other customers being treated the same way. A good manager would make some changes because this place does have potential. read more
