I was nearby at the Showboat Café and wasn't really feeling their breakfast options, so I walked over to the Hard Rock Cafe area and luckily found better choices. I came across Burgers and Hops, which was open for breakfast. I ordered the Italian omelet with scalloped fries and it tasted fresh, delicious, and really clean. Everything came out hot and was surprisingly satisfying for a quick casino breakfast spot. Service was fast, but not exactly warm or overly friendly. No one was rude, but the cashier's vibe felt a little off and not very welcoming. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here again for breakfast if I'm in the area and need something convenient.
Much better breakfast deal than other spots in Hard Rock. I had a huge bacon & cheddar omelette with a side of fruit. I think there was a pound of fruit in the container. They are very generous. Everything was fresh and brought out to us. Surprisingly, great service for what is essentially a fast casual place. After yesterday's disappointment down in Hard Rock Cafe, this was great.
Burger & Hops is easy to find when you walk in from the Hard Rock garage, with plenty of seating and a great view of the huge hanging guitar that sets the tone right away. It turned into a very filling go‑to spot for us, and we ended up eating there a couple of times during our stay. The country western burger was cooked a perfect medium rare, with the ham on top adding a tasty, salty punch. The southwestern chicken sandwich was also delicious, loaded with guacamole and a flavorful chipotle mayo. The chicken on the sandwiches is crispy with big, meaty chunks, and the buns are soft and tasty, so every sandwich feels huge and seriously filling. Even the oatmeal raisin cookie was a surprise standout. It was super moist, full of flavor, and big enough for two people to share.
It's fine for breakfast if you're staying in the Hard Rock. There aren't a lot of other options, and even though it's overpriced, it does get prepared quickly. The eggs and toast are a safe option. Nothing amazing but hearty enough. The fruit salad was a great medley and the oatmeal took up a big container and came with individual containers to add the amount of raisins, brown sugars, and walnuts as much as you desire. The coffee is fine. They don't put out any cutlery and if it's busy, it's a bit difficult to flag someone down for an extra fork. There are a lot of tables if you want to eat there, but it backs up nicely if you're staying on site. It's not anything I could recommend if you aren't already around, but it's decent and convenient.

I had the chicken BBQ sandwich and it was so tender and tasted so good . It was made to order and yet came so fast . They also have good fried and the beer is cold . Would definitely revisit .
Burger and hops had a pretty good breakfast menu. It caught my eye from agar when I was looking for a something to eat as I walked around hard rock café. I got potatoes, bacon, toast and eggs. Didn't know what to expect but I was very satisfied! Everything was fresh! The bacon was cooked perfectly and so were the eggs. The potatoes tasted great and were consistent. The toast was hearty and healthy. It made my morning so much better. The service was fast the ambiance was moderately quite for an open area seating space. I definitely recommend coming here for a quick bite to eat.
Grilled reuben was huge. I ordered it with chips on the side instead of cole slaw. Very tasty. A ton of corned beef on the sandwich. Extremely tasty. Only downside was top was very crispy (good) but the bottom was soggy because of the dressing and sauerkraut sitting directly on bread. Im not complaining because I loved the sandwich. Just wish it didnt fall apart and force me to use a fork and knife. I'll be back here again.

The service is relatively quick and they give you a little buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. A burger depending on which one/kind you get can run you up $20 for just a burger as it does NOT come with anything such as fries or a drink and does NOT come with the option to do so. Cheese fries cost $8 and were not good. They came super salty and may it be a one-time thing it was still disappointing considering how much it was for the food and I did not end up eating them. A fountain drink I was told was $5 which is honestly outrageous for a drink let alone that small. I was scared to even ask how much a bottled water was. The burger taste was nothing impressive it just tasted like a backyard burger that you would cook on a grill. Photo of the burger shows it being cooked medium and honestly it was more rare than medium but judge the picture on your own. The presentation is nice but that's all about there is to it. It's about the only place that is open "late night" at the hotel when it comes to actual food so if you come here just expect to drop more money than you wanted to for some mediocre at best food.

This was the shortest line during Tuesday lunch. They switch over from breakfast to lunch, at noon. You may have to wait or fight for an empty table, to eat at :) I ordered the Turkey club. It is located at the top of the escalator on the second floor. You stand in line to order - then you get a little black pager that buzzes when your food is ready for pick up. We didn't see anyone cleaning the tables - so we cleared them ourselves. It was a little pricey - but that's casino food - 2 burgers - 1 cheese fry - 2 drinks came to $51.64 The food was tasty but greasy -... it came out hot and fresh. If you're staying at the Atlantic City Hard Rock, this place is really good to eat at for quick bites or even whole meals. They offer brunch and dinner options - nothing too fancy but it works, especially since they are open all the way to the AMs. The service is pretty fast and staff are friendly. The only downside is that the food is pricey - 6 wings are more than $10.00! You can pick up your food and eat by the escalators and enjoy the nice scenery blend of gambling and performing on stage. read more
I winded up trying this after going to Hard Rock Cafe downstairs and winded up waiting 15 minutes for a server and they never showed so I just left . Anyway I came to burger and hops having never tried it before and I must say everything happens for a reason because I definitely came to the right place . The burger I ordered certainly helped wash away the sour taste I had from the experience at Hard Rock Cafe . The ladies who take the order are very nice and they have a very efficient system . Everything is made fresh to order and the prices are very good considering it's a casino . I asked for medium cook and that's exactly what I got . As a quick food stop, this restaurant is definitely a great spot for breakfast. The food came out all together and was delicious. My mom and grandma were also very impressed at the service being quick and friendly. Despite being amongst multiple restaurants, there was no doubt that this was a fan favorite. read more
After a 2 hr drive we were a wee bit hungry. We checked into the Hard Rock Casino. They have the flavor tour which consists of 4 different restaurants. We picked burger & hops. Beers a bit less expensive & it had quick bites. I ate the southpaw style hot dog it had chili, cheddar, guac, tomatoes and Chipotle mayo. It was sooo good omggggg I might have to re create it at home. My husband stuck with a plain hot dog w traditional ketchup and mustard. We shared the loaded chili nachos. Not the neatest to eat but it hit the spot!! The tri color chips were crispy and fresh and lots of cheesey goodness w chili and sour cream. I would have topped it w some jalapeños but thats just me . Came here with my girlfriend for a late dinner because the weather was a little ugly. We were thinking that hamburgers and hot dogs weren't the ideal choice we wanted but MAN..when I tell you that hot dog and fries were amazing! They light toasted the bun on the grill and the hot dog actually had good flavor to it! The fries were also cooked fresh and were salted appropriately. They also have breakfast that comes in a HUGE portion of food. We couldn't even finish the food because they gave so much! As for the service, the cashiers were polite and on point when it came to the service when attending to patrons. They have cleaners who will pick up after you when you are finished eating. I always feel bad when someone cleans up after me, but I appreciate the hard work they do. My only knock on this establishment are the prices because they are pricey but what can you expect from a luxury hotel in AC..especially a Hard Rock hotel. I mean who really pays $10+ for a hamburger and it's not a name brand restaurant. Seriously though overall I definitely recommend this spot if you just want to stay in the building and grab a quick bite. read more

Good (not great) food available with acommodating hours. I visited here a few times during my 3-day stay and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and patient. The prices were on par with that you would expect from a casino food place. (Chicken fingers with french fries - $12, Loaded Nachos - $14) The draft beer price ($6) was also very reasonable in my opinion. I did NOT have a burger, but they looked on other's plates. The time to get your foor can take a little while depending on the crowd, but thats expected. read more

Great sandwich, HUGE piece of chicken which was very tasty even though cheese wasn't covering all of it. Have to pay extra for French fries but I got potato chips because I wanted to be a bit healthy. Also, barely touched potato chips because sandwich had me very full! read more
