Avocado smash with roasted tomatoes
Melitta S.

Came for breakfast. The avocado smash with roasted tomatoes was perfect. Portions are pretty good for the price. Its lively atmosphere and location makes it great for people watching.

It's fine for breakfast if you're staying in the Hard Rock. There aren't a lot of other options, and even though it's overpriced, it does get prepared quickly. The eggs and toast are a safe option. Nothing amazing but hearty enough. The fruit salad was a great medley and the oatmeal took up a big container and came with individual containers to add the amount of raisins, brown sugars, and walnuts as much as you desire. The coffee is fine. They don't put out any cutlery and if it's busy, it's a bit difficult to flag someone down for an extra fork. There are a lot of tables if you want to eat there, but it backs up nicely if you're staying on site. It's not anything I could recommend if you aren't already around, but it's decent and convenient.

Burger and hops had a pretty good breakfast menu. It caught my eye from agar when I was looking for a something to eat as I walked around hard rock café. I got potatoes, bacon, toast and eggs. Didn't know what to expect but I was very satisfied! Everything was fresh! The bacon was cooked perfectly and so were the eggs. The potatoes tasted great and were consistent. The toast was hearty and healthy. It made my morning so much better. The service was fast the ambiance was moderately quite for an open area seating space. I definitely recommend coming here for a quick bite to eat.

We decided to try and have a quick bite so we tried this place, this is how it went : Service is unbelievable, fast and friendly . I had the chicken BBQ sandwich and it was so tender and tasted so good . It was made to order and yet came so fast . They also have good fried and the beer is cold . Would definitely revisit .

Grilled reuben was huge. I ordered it with chips on the side instead of cole slaw. Very tasty. A ton of corned beef on the sandwich. Extremely tasty. Only downside was top was very crispy (good) but the bottom was soggy because of the dressing and sauerkraut sitting directly on bread. Im not complaining because I loved the sandwich. Just wish it didnt fall apart and force me to use a fork and knife. I'll be back here again.

Open late to eat . Burger had no taste. Service good. Only recommendation is eat here when no other options. Just had the cheese and bacon sandwich, was tasty. Cole slaw had no taste.

We can here for lunch and breakfast. The foods was descent price. For lunch order burger and for breakfast order the the big breakfast. When you finish order they will bring it to you. The service was good. There were a lot of tables and can hear live music. Would come back here again next time.

Portion was decent but i wonder why they changed choice of 3 meats to 1.. i wish i had more choice of different meat instead of getting 4 same sausages Nothing special about this "big breakfast" option which is around +$19 They could at least include coffee with it which probably won't cost anything for them

During our stay, we had breakfast here and my husband grabbed a burger, as well. For an omelette and a couple of eggs, it was really good. The portion size was large with the option of potatoes or fruit salad on the side. My fruit salad bowl was a meal in itself. All the fruit was fresh and I took half it to go for a snack later in the day. A great breakfast to start our day. The husband rates the Burger as a 5-star. Being a non-meat eater, I cannot verify or deny his claim. Overall, a good, quick food spot located within the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

It is located at the top of the escalator on the second floor. You stand in line to order - then you get a little black pager that buzzes when your food is ready for pick up. We didn't see anyone cleaning the tables - so we cleared them ourselves. It was a little pricey - but that's casino food - 2 burgers - 1 cheese fry - 2 drinks came to $51.64 The food was tasty but greasy -... it came out hot and fresh. Burger was a little under cooked for my taste. Portions are good size. Only 3 stars for the grease

Chili Cheese Dog and Old Bay Fries. The tables nearby have sauces like Tabasco.

If you're staying at the Atlantic City Hard Rock, this place is really good to eat at for quick bites or even whole meals. They offer brunch and dinner options - nothing too fancy but it works, especially since they are open all the way to the AMs. The service is pretty fast and staff are friendly. The only downside is that the food is pricey - 6 wings are more than $10.00! You can pick up your food and eat by the escalators and enjoy the nice scenery blend of gambling and performing on stage.

Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato . Delicious
David D.

I winded up trying this after going to Hard Rock Cafe downstairs and winded up waiting 15 minutes for a server and they never showed so I just left . Anyway I came to burger and hops having never tried it before and I must say everything happens for a reason because I definitely came to the right place . The burger I ordered certainly helped wash away the sour taste I had from the experience at Hard Rock Cafe . The ladies who take the order are very nice and they have a very efficient system . Everything is made fresh to order and the prices are very good considering it's a casino . I asked for medium cook and that's exactly what I got . Thank You Burger and Hops for saving the day .

As a quick food stop, this restaurant is definitely a great spot for breakfast. The food came out all together and was delicious. My mom and grandma were also very impressed at the service being quick and friendly. Despite being amongst multiple restaurants, there was no doubt that this was a fan favorite.

For dinner I ordered the Broadway signature burger (Black Bean option) with pepper jack and lettuce/tomato. The black bean burger was very good and the pepper jack had some heat to it which I enjoyed. For the side I got the cajun onion straws which were very good and also had a nice heat to them. My wife got the bacon cheeseburger which I assumed she enjoyed because she ate the whole thing and a side of tots. The service was very good. The bartenders were nice and attentive. The place itself looks very clean and has some nice TVs for sports watching. The main issue which brought my rating down to a 4 is the price. The cheapest burger was $20 and that was for just a plain burger. The beer pricing was nuts, $12 for a craft beer and even the domestics were high. I will give them some credit for their happy hour and eagles game day pricing which drops the prices down considerably.

After missing out on a meal at another eatery in the area, I was able to almost completely recreate…read morethe meal and have a better experience. After making a once around in this area to see what they had to offer I came back to this establishment to dine for the evening. Upon entry I was greeted warmly and timely. I was immediately led to an actual table and had menu in hand. This was nice, just because I am dining alone doesn't mean I want to sit at a bar and feel separated from the rest of the building. I had some time to look over the menu before the server arrived. I made it simple for him as I already knew exactly what I wanted, from drink to appetizer to entree. I just stayed with water for the meal as I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet. For my appetizer I went with the Soft Pretzel and the entree was the Hangover. The Soft Pretzel is basically your jumbo pretzel. This comes served with honey mustard and cheese sauce for dipping. When this came out on the hook, it was piping hot and had the right amount of pretzel salt. This thing is massive and could easily serve as a meal for one. I picked at it until my burger came out. I also ended up taking a lot of this back to my room for snacking later in the evening. When my burger showed up I was not disappointed. As a side note, burgers are served with fries, but you can upgrade the side if you like. But at $3 for a small upgrade, no thank you, a different type of potato or a salad doesn't equal that much money. That is just my opinion. Off my soapbox now, let's discuss the burger. The Hangover is typically an 8 oz. patty freshly ground in house everyday. You can substitute for a turkey burger, black bean burger, or grilled chicken at no charge, but have to pay for a side upgrade...I digress. This particular burger is topped with an over easy egg, bacon and American cheese. More of a breakfast burger than a hangover cure to me. This thing was one of the best patty to bun ratio burgers I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised that the patty actually looked a bit bigger than the bun. When you pop the yolk of the egg, that just adds a bit more flavor to the burger. Perfectly cooked to your liking, the bacon was crispy, they egg made it messy and the cheese held it all together. The fries were a perfect match to this, even though they make it seem like they are the basic side to this dish. If you are a yolk person, the fries are a great vessel to get any that may have dropped to the plate. I made sure to finish this and try to look like I wasn't shoving it my mouth at the same time. It was delicious. My server was excellent. Checked on me the appropriate amount of times. Was attentive to my needs and I didn't feel rushed in my dining experience. Much better than other places.

Chicken wings nekked with a side of BBQ honey sauce, mild sauce, ranch dip and an order of onion rings (not on the menu). I love their BBQ honey sauce dipped in ranch. I never had their mild wing sauce, but tried it and wasn't a fan. My mom ordered the Greek salad. Their wings come out crispy which we both enjoyed (my mom is very hard to please), the onion rings were good, and she very much liked her salad. Service was great and the ambiance is nice. Our lunch here came out cheaper than breakfast at Hash House at Tropicana. The only thing problem is that only 7 pieces of wings come in one order. That's an odd number for wings. Should be at least 10 pieces. I mean if people know your wings are good, not sure why you wouldn't offer at least 10 pieces like most WING places.

A happy hour event was also on the calendar for Thursday, meant to be a cheerful punctuation mark on a long work week. Then came the news: Wingcraft had closed its doors forever. No warning, no farewell, no wings. It is strange to feel stood up by a restaurant, but that is how it felt. One moment there was a place with burgers and beer flights, a hum of televisions and bar chatter, and the next there was only silence and a locked door. We were left wandering near the Convention Center, hungry and confused, like pilgrims whose holy site had vanished overnight. I give it two stars because once upon a time, the food was decent and the beer cold. But the sudden disappearance left us stranded, and the city felt emptier for it. Atlantic City is cruel like that, swallowing places whole and leaving only echoes where the laughter used to be.

We also ordered fries and truffle fries (subbed instead of regular fries), and everything tasted fantastic. That said, the pricing gave me a little pause. About $75 for two burgers, truffle fries, and sodas felt steep, but honestly, the flavor helped justify it... at least a teeny bit. Later in the evening, we returned just for drinks and dessert, which were both solid. The espresso martinis were especially good (though at nearly $20 each, expectations are high), and we had more than a few. The only real downside was service during our second visit. When we let the staff know we weren't ordering food since we had already eaten earlier, our silverware and napkins were quickly cleared and our water glasses were taken as well. I had to request that water glasses stay and be filled, which felt awkward and honestly a bit dismissive, especially given the cost of the drinks we were ordering (4 of us). Overall, excellent food and drinks, but the service inconsistency took away from the experience. With more attentive hospitality, this would easily be a 5-star spot. Solid option and they can deliver to the room if you scan from the room. We ordered and asked for it to be delivered and they said they couldn't. We returned for breakfast the next day and the food was delicious and hot! Definitely delivered...

We opted, on this trip, to get the foot long Italian cold cut sub with light mayo, oil, hot peppers, lettuce, and tomatoe. You have to go to the back of the store to place your order with one of the cooks at the counter there. They will give you a number and once your number is called, you pick up your order and pay for it at the front register. The booth seating is for customers that are eating in store. Our Italian sub was loaded with a variety of meats and cheese. The rolls are fresh and sturdy to hold up to the meats, cheese and topping inside (fact: the rolls are made from Formica deli across the street!). The meats and cheeses were fresh in the Italian cold cut and the meat in the cheesesteak was ample with a great taste. All in all, a great spot to grab a sub to go or enjoy in the store.
