OK, so I was a little hesitant to try this spot given some of the reviews and the location however I was pleasantly surprised. I went ahead and tried it because I wanted to be able to walk to my massage and I found this place in my neighborhood. Shirley was absolutely fabulous. Super professional and gave an awesome massage. I will definitely be coming back. So happy to have found this little gem right in my neighborhood read more

Lovely Asian massage spot in Long Beach. Good location with easy street parking - had a very good massage from Shirley, felt very relaxed, good zen music and felt much better after my massage. Would recommend! read more

Me and my girlfriend went and it was super relaxing. They were very thorough with the massage and were very friendly. 10/10 place.

Had a really good massage. I don't remember the woman's name but she was very nice and I can tell she put care into it.

- No frills asian massage. - Speaks English. Nice woman - They only have full body massage options - Takes credit card Recommend for a quick easy tune-up! I was stretched, pulled, massaged, rolled on, stepped on, and it was exactly the refresh I needed! She cracked my back and released the tension. I don't know how she massaged my breast bone and knee caps but she did and it felt great! It's nice that I don't have to travel all the way to Asia to receive a massage like this. read more

Great massage and good energy. Very relaxing. The place seems a bit run down from outside but it's fine inside. Recommended.

Good massage, good price. Shirley used a wooden tool to stretch my muscles and roll over my heels. Delightful. Will be back.

Do not go here! This place is really sketchy. My massage was extremely rough. She answered the phone a few times throughout my session. The spa smelled really bad, like food. She demanded a tip of 20% and you have to pay prior to getting your massage. She cut my massage time by five minutes for another customer who happened to be a male. Nothing sit right with me while I was there. I was happy that my massage was cut five minutes. I didn't even want her to finish the first 15 minutes into the massage. That's how horrible my experience was. read more

DO...NOT... GO... HERE! This was the WORST place that I've ever gone and all of the years that I've had a massage. - this was my first time visit. And last time visit. I found them on yelp and was looking to get a 90 minute massage. Online it showed the pricing was $80 for a 90 minute massage. But when I got there the owner at the front desk told me it's actually $90 for 90 minutes and I had to pay upfront. So I paid with my credit card. It seems that the owner was the one that was giving me the massage. I said medium pressure. Most of the massage was done with a massage stick and there were multiple times where it was painful and I screamed out in pain. Same thing goes for the bottom of the feet. The final straw is when I had oil on my back... The masseuse put boiling hot stones on my back. I've done hot stones many times before and this was painful enough for me to scream out in pain. I told her to stop. But she kept insisting and I kept wincing and telling her no. She told me all of this is probably your first time and I said no it's not my first time. Please stop you're hurting me! And that lady had the nerve to start laughing when I told her I was in pain. OMG I was so pissed. I told her how much time do we have left because I'm not doing 90 minutes of this. I am not relaxed and this is the worst massage I've had. We stopped at 60 minutes. I am going to be disputing the charge. Even after the massage and I was dressed she was still giggling like it was funny. This is not how you run a business. If you're looking for an actual massage, do not go here unless you like pain read more

Asian style massages are pretty different from the traditional massages I've had in the US. I really love the way they loosen my tight muscles and leave me feeling renewed. And the price is hard to beat. read more

Shirley is the absolutely amazing ! By far the best massage I've ever had. And I have had many! She is so sweet and really knows what she's doing. I suffer from bad back and neck pain and I always leave feeling much better. Prices are more than fair and it's always very clean and quiet. Highly recommend read more

Shirley is the best!! She will find your knots and get them out. I usually come here when I'm super sore from working out and need to treat myself. It is a little more painful but I always feel so much better after coming here. If you can't handle the pain I would go elsewhere...but if you want to experience an effective deep tissue massage, Shirley is definitely the therapist to see! read more

Nice if I wanted a light massage . I went here because I had a muscle knot in my neck. I told the front desk and the masseuse but she seemed to only focus on my legs and lower back so don't go here if you actually need a massage to remove muscle knots . read more

The owner is very sweet and accommodating. Great for deep tissue. Everything is always clean and they work efficiently.

I just had my first massage here with First off, I have to say that I'm not really big on massages because I always seem to have bad experiences at various places. However, I was in dire need this time around because I was in so much back and hip pain due to being pregnant. Prior to this massage, I had 2 painful and sleepless nights. I could barely walk due to the pain. My husband searched around and was recommended G-Spa from a friend. BEST decision ever! He was able to make a same day appointment for me and I got the 90 minute prenatal massage. is extremely professional and has the perfect amount of pressure based on what you ask for/need. It was honestly one of the best massages I have ever had. Best part was that I could sleep through the night with significantly less pain! I would highly recommend Harbor Massage Spa for anyone needing a real massage. It was totally worth the 40 mile drive! read more

Admittedly, I hesitated as I pulled up to this location on a Broadway. It looked a little shabby from the outside and no formal sign saying "Long Beach Massage," just a large banner advertising 1 free massage for every 10 massages bought and some cheesy LED lights advertising BODY MASSAGE. I walked in and was met by a very personable lady who led me to a back room. Rooms are small and separated with thin plywood or something with curtains drawn. But there was nice mood lighting, clean linens and strong table. I laughed to myself because there was a Meme of a cat massaging another cat with the title, "OK I give massage but no happy ending." It kind of made me feel better. She asked if I liked light, medium or hard. I like deep tissue and she delivered! There was even rails on the ceiling for her to hold on to while she walked my back. I didn't notice those up there and it was a little surprising and felt awesome. One hour massage cost $50 (plus your tip). I could hear someone else else towards the end of their service getting their back slapped so note that if you're sensitive to sound, etc. that may bother you. I recommend this place for a no nonsense, good massage - esp if you like Asian style massage where they work deep in with elbows and all! Parking is on the street. No issue finding a spot. read more

I had a great experience here. Great value for a $50 massage + tip. Simple Professional, inviting, kind. And got me in right away. If I had one thing to say that wasn't 100% ideal, my masseuse went a little too fast into the hard pressure. even a few minutes of soft pressure first would have been great. But she did ask me if I wanted hard pressure and I said Yes. And over all, it was an amazing massage. Really got deep into just about every muscle in the body, really maximizing the time. I feel way better afterwards and highly recommend! Buy 10 get one free too. read more

Ok the lady knows how to dance on your back in a good way. It has to be pretty good if I've frequented here more than 3 times. She's really good! read more

Not the fanciest place, but a really great time. They give a great massage and treat you right. I will be returning for sure!

Turns out this place is hit or miss. I had a fantastic massage from Judy my first visit, my second with Lisa was not good- elbows almost exclusively, too fast, and didn't feel good. My 3rd and last visit was with Shirley- it was pretty good except she did a weird move with her elbow that broke skin- at the very top of my butt crack? It didn't hurt and I didn't notice until the next day, the area was raw. I tried requesting Judy again but they say she's not there often. read more

No frills, just incredible massage. Located in a quiet, small space on Broadway in Long Beach. Harbor Massage offers 30, 60, 90, and even 120 minute long full body massages. I walked in at 9pm on a Monday night and was greeted by a cheerful lady who guided me to a simply decorated, dimly lit private massage room. The linens were very soft and the massage bed was really comfortable. Soft classical music and pleasant aromatic smells drifted through the air. My masseuse was Lisa, who is intuitive, talented, strong, and polite. I get professional massages fairly often, and this was one of the best I have ever received. Completely thorough, my 1 hour massage relaxed me from head to toe, and put powerful work into my problem (tense) areas on my back. She used a variety of techniques that created the perfect combination of intense body work and calming massage. An excellent value for $50. After my massage I was met with cold water, a handful of Chinese candy, and a stamp card that offers a free massage for every 10 massages at Harbor Spa. I greatly look forward to returning. read more

Not the best massage I've ever gotten , and I've gotten quite a few! Didn't know her name and after I got the massage I didn't care to! Her main focus was my mid back , I have practiced massage therapy for months and I know it could have been done better! I excepted a full body and got 27 minutes of mid back and 3 minutes of rear quad and calf ! Will not be going back. read more

It took me two days to recover from the massage I received here. The massage was painful during and after. Don't come here if you're looking for healing or relaxing. read more

I liked this place. It's reasonably priced, clean, prices are good, and they make you feel welcomed. Also, they appreciate generous tip if you like your massage. read more

Very affordable, quality massage. I get a massage monthly and always feel refreshed after!

Deserves zero stars. Hands down the worst massage I have ever experienced: - insisted I pay up front in cash for the massage, and now I know why because they probably had people walk out because it was so bad. - I keep my boxers on normally because some places are shady, but she insisted I take them off, so I kept them on and she shoved my boxers up my crack and exposed my entire butt. - she then proceeded to still graze my balls even though my underwear was barely covering. - she used sharp elbows the entire time - her sharp elbows pierced into my spine many times even after I told her to stop massaging directly on my spine. - used extra oil to where it felt gross and was too slippery. - I asked for strong but she was extra rough, fast, and uncomfortable. - she scratched my neck and pressed her elbow so deep into my neck that half of my right arm went numb all the way down to my right hand fingers. It is 2 days later and the numbness is finally starting to go away. - at the end she kept popping my ear drums and bending my knee back even after I told her not too because I have a torn meniscus. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS TOU WANT TO BE TORTURED AND UNCOMFORTABLE the entire time. This is not an exaggeration, this is all true and I hope the owners read this constructive feedback. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would , I came in to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders but apparently her fingers "aren't strong" .. so how are you suppose to massage ones neck ? With your elbow ??? I continued to ask for her to work on my neck , she kept ignoring me and rubbing my arms , after Asking her several times she pretended to not know English when She understood me perfectly well when I called in. ..in addition she started dripping sweat on me as there is no AC in the actual rooms , only a unit in the back window of the building . Her Sweat dripping on my back was my tipping point , I paid for 1 hour and left 25 minutes early . read more

I was sore as hell after a week of working out and my roommate mentioned that the massage spot around the corner from our apartment is pretty legit. I called to set an appointment later that day. Arrived to Harbor Massage and it pretty much looks the same as every Asian massage parlor. I was greeted by Shirley who also ended up provided me with the best massage I had ever gotten. My workouts this week left my mid back, lower back and hamstrings extremely sore and tight. Shirley went to work and rolled out every ache and knot. She is very skilled at identifying where the points are that need work and was great at bending, twisting and contorting my body to work the muscle from every which angle. She is a sniper with her elbow and get that tension out with laser like precision. I was definitely having trouble standing upright without succumbing to the pain of the muscle soreness but I felt like a million bucks after she was done. I was going to take another rest day tomorrow but I'm ready get back to working out again tomorrow. I highly recommend Shirley and will definitely be back regularly. read more

Mediocre massage for $60 (including tip). I kept telling her to work on my neck and shoulders but she kept massaging elsewhere. They use a ton of oil so it feels gross and it doesn't smell good. The atmosphere was not relaxing. They make you pay up front which is weird. I will go somewhere else next time. read more

Shirley is wonderful!!! Hidden gem so if you're looking for legit masseuse who knows how to get those stubborn knots out...look no further and give this place a try! She even provides a shower (clean) when finished to top it off. $50 compared to $40 at most places...well worth it! I found my spot and as a daily surfer...I'll just say I'm super stoked read more

I work at a desk and also exercise, and I always have knots in my back and neck. I've been to harbor massage several times in the last year and have always received good massages there. It's an underpriced massage for the value. The therapists are all pro and reliable, so I definitely recommend it. They also give candy away like it's going out of style. read more

Amazing massage. We visit almost every week and the next day I can feel the difference.

great job! i slept funny and couldn't turn my head i would've preferred a gentle, feel-better massage and she took it easy on me! instead i left wondering if i had bruises but i got in the same day and i feel better! read more

Got the 90min. Pretty rad. Shirley was my therapist. Very nice and professional. I feel pretty fantastic. She had run to greet a walk in but no biggie. Pressure as good, asked her to let up a bit on a few points but overall was a great sesh. Some interesting hip rotations with a sudden yank at the end. I was a bit cold but she put hot stones in my hands and used hot packs to keep me warm. You might notice "silent night" playing in the music loop. Bought a gift card for my bf on my way out. You have to pay beforehand which I'm sure there are reasons for so make sure to have cash to tip at the end as its hard to know how much to tip before you receive the work. There's also a punch card, I think after 10 sessions, you get one free. Sweet. read more

Love love love this place!!! Had the best massage here!! Lisa was very nice, polite and professional. Parking was super hard to find, but one of the girls working was so kind as to giving me her parking spot. I'm differently coming back here. read more

I really hate to be the bad reviewee on here but I'm pretty upset with these ladies. I brought my mom here for her birthday today because of their 5 star reviews but I'm hugely disappointed. I paid $50 for a "hot stone massage" for my mom since it was her first time getting one and she'd been wanting one for a while but all they did was place the stones on her, slid them up and down her back twice and gave her a half ass massage for a few minutes then proceeded to leave my mom unattended. She didn't even get the full hour I paid for. To top it off the lady in the front has the audacity to ask if we want to tip and since I have a heart and didn't want to be the messed up person I gave her $2 and even after we expressed our dissatisfaction she got mad that we didn't tip more. My mother and I wouldn't recommend this place at all, that is our honest opinion. There are much better places, with better service and better prices, just sayin'. You make your call. read more

Wow. What a great massage! Took me a little bit to find a parking spot on a Saturday night, but once I walked in the door I was greeted by a very friendly gal. She just did an amazing job working through my very tight back and legs. A great destressor for sure! read more

FYI This place is called IC SPA if you google it. I went in to get a 1 hour body massage for $50. The massage was good, until she started massage my face. To be honest as she was massaging my face, her palms smelt like sweat. Probably due to the fact that she was my massaging my body. But I know for a fact I definitely showered and spray body cologne on right before I got there. The lady told me it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I told her I don't mind waiting, in reality I ended up waiting 45 minutes. They were courteous to make sure I was comfortable with a fan blowing at me. As I was going to pay with my card, she whispered TIP TIP. I'm thinking to myself how rude to be saying this to a customer. Regardless I was gonna tip her. Then she had the nerve to say $10. I'm thinking to myself this lady is pushing it. So I end up just giving her a $5 tip. Oh yea they get you Butt Naked, usually a standard thing at a place like this. read more

This is my absolute favorite place when I want to treat myself. Professional, skilled, and incredibly relaxing. I have not been disappointed yet!
