I have visited this massage business several times over the years and, while it has never been the most relaxing environment due to staff frequently talking loudly with one another during services, the late operating hours (closing at 10 PM) made it a convenient option when I recently needed relief for significant back pain. During my most recent visit, I paid for both a massage and cupping therapy. At the time of the service, nothing was mentioned about any issues. However, when I got home, I discovered what appeared to be a burn mark on my back. As someone who has received cupping treatments from licensed massage therapists in the past, I am familiar with the circular marks that cupping can leave behind. This was not that. It was clearly a burn. When I contacted the business to express my concern, I was disappointed that the initial response was to suggest that the burn was a normal result of cupping. In my experience, that explanation was inaccurate. They then offered a discount on a future massage as a gesture of goodwill. Against my better judgment, I returned a few weeks later expecting the promised discount, only to learn that it amounted to just $5 off. Considering the fact that I left with a burn from a paid service, this felt dismissive and showed a lack of accountability for what occurred. The combination of an unprofessional environment, an injury sustained during treatment, and a poorly handled customer service response left me extremely disappointed. We came here on a weekend afternoon. The prices were very good, about $50 for an hour massage or $30 for a half-hour massage. The 3 of us opted for a half-hour massage and the tip guideline posted was between $5-$15 for a half-hour massage, which was reasonable. The therapists were knowledgeable -- they used hot stones and pressure points and also some deep tissue techniques. However, my sister said she pointed to her elbow to get massages and the therapist didn't seem to understand that. Overall everyone enjoyed their massages and we thought it was a professional and clean environment. The rooms are divided by curtains. I would recommend this place and would come back next time I'm in town. They charge $2 to use a credit card and you can tip on the card as well, just hope that the tip goes to staff (i thought it was a little odd that the staff didn't walk us out so it wouldn't have been a little tough to tip them). read more

This is an amazing hidden gem in Long Beach. I've been going here for almost 10 years now, so this review is much deserved! The spot is located at the corner of Anahiem and Redondo, it's in the center with the Pollo Loco. Parking is easy, there is a decent sized lot with plenty of spots. I always call ahead, but plenty of people just do walk-ins when I am there. There just might be a little wait without an appointment. It's mostly women working, there is one male and he does a great job too if you are looking for a male masseur. I usually get the 60 minute foot combo massage for $40, with tip I pay $50-$55. This massage is in an open section with about 8 other beds. I take my shirt off and leave on gym shorts. They do a great job keeping privacy. They soak your feet in hot water while they massage your upper body for about 15 min. Then they massage the feet for about 20 min, then finish off with 25 more minutes of a back and neck massage with oil. It's a great session. My wife usually gets the 60 min private body massage for $50, $60-$65 with tip. This is in a private room with a professional massage bed. They even have bars mounted for the therapist to walk on your back upon request. My wife always leaves here feeling great. We never request specific massuers, who ever is working does a great job. They are all trained to do the same technique. It doesn't look amazing from the outside of the building. But they do an exceptional job. Nice little massage joint in Long Beach. Been comin here for 10+ years now and have had consistent service across the board. Always know what I'm going to get for my money. Also appreciate how the prices remain constant over the years (think they've only gone up $10 or so for a full body in last 10 years). I typically get the full body 60 minute massage and it never disappoints. Always leave feeling refreshed and happy with the money well spent. Make sure to request a female and if you are going with your spouse/partner, request separate rooms as the combined room can get a little cramped for my liking. The guy that runs the joint is pretty consistent too, always literally saying the same exact sentences whenever we call to book the appt, arrive at the appt, or approach the massage room (my wife and I love when he says "everything, take off". lol). I think it's pretty standard at these types of massage joints, but expect to tip at minimum $20 for a 60 min massage, otherwise they will give you the death eye and you'll be super uncomfortable, so to not get that feeling right after a long, distressful and relaxing massage, just be prepared to fork up the extra $10 in advance before paying and it will be all good vibez. In the end, you're paying $70 for an hour long full body massage with hot stones & oil, which is still a killer deal. And the masseuses do such a great job every single time I've gone, I don't think I've had a bad experience yet (except when my wife got the main dude at the front as her masseuse she didn't really dig that, one because he was a male, two because his keys jingle-jangle the entire 60 minutes, and three he still plays the front desk role and will answer both calls and people entering mid massage, which is such lame and also super weird. We did 90 minutes and they were great, weren't lazy with it, applied the perfect amount of pressure and Jeanie kept making sure I was going good when she would switch up the pressure. I used to come back here in 2021 when I lived in the area and decided to give it another try when I moved back to Long Beach. While they don't have the most sophisticated appointment system, I usually call ahead to make one, and they reference your phone number when you come in. So, I think they prefer the appointments which I'm happy to make. I generally go for the 60 minute deep tissue massage. For this, they put you in the private room, and the ambience is a lot more relaxing than out in the '' public room '' where other people are getting massages too. The massage itself has been Excellent. I got a polite female massage therapist for my last two visits they stand on your back, and use a lot of hard pressure - which I prefer and need to get in and actually relax my muscles. The price comes to $60 and I usually provide a $20 tip on top of that. I think they prices are so reasonable that I like to give a decent tip too. All in all, I'd recommend this place. It's not in the best of areas, and there can be unsavory people outside, but once you get beyond that it's a solid place. Bonus Points: They also have the A/C turned on which makes the place always amazingly cool and relaxing. I would not be able to get a massage anywhere in LA if they were cheap about the air. Please keep doing what you're doing. I also like they at least offer you water after. I actually prefer places like this instead of the '' fancier '' places that rip you off. I needed the aches and tension to be worked on. My massage therapist started with a head and face massage, then worked on my arms, then feet and legs, and ended with my back. The massage was good pressure and put me to sleep. I left feeling more relaxed and not as sore from being on the road for work travel all week. It can get a bit loud (with the phone ringing and chatter from other massage therapists in the room) so if you're looking for a super quiet spa-like environment then this place isn't for you. It's easy to find on Anaheim Street and they have good amount of parking in front of their store. So I paid for an hour massage and someone showed me the massage table. İt was good massage but nothing spectacular. They massaged whole body and used whole one hour. They also give me free hot stone treatment which was good. My only concern was that massage tables are separated by curtains so you hear everything. I heard the people talking at the front desk and the guy getting message behind curtain. I've been to this place multiple times for massages and I personally will always highly recommend it! I've had a different masseuse each time I've gone and I have no complaints! Their prices are amazing! $45 for one hour body massage. Personally it's an amazing price and they always seem to be able to fit us in. The only reason I docked it one star is simply because if you're looking for a place that's quiet and zenful while getting a massage.. you won't get it here. However, I consider it to be extremely rude for a business to mandate tips, higher than 20% and tell The Customer What they should Tip; Instead of letting the Customers determine what their massage was worth. Their tip schedule starts at almost 30%. (e.g. $20-$40 for a $70 service). The place is older, and can be loud with talking. And no "real" private rooms, but rather curtains separating the massage tables. They turn the music up to drown out the other noises, which can sometimes be counterproductive for a massage service. Overall the massage Technicians are good. But this is not an upscale establishment to be demanding/mandating high tips. It's a convenient place for me to go, but now I'm a bit turned off and will find another spot. They might want to reconsider this practice. read more

Horrible experience and I am sorry I came here! Massage wasn't great but I still tipped 20%. They started to argue with me and told me I didn't tip enough. I'm sorry but I tip a standard 20%, and for a subpar massage that was good enough. I paid via Zelle and the masseuse told me he didn't receive my payment! They made me stand around for 15-20 min. while they were on the phone with someone and finally I told them I had to leave. I showed them the withdrawal from my account to assure them I paid and then they asked for a SCREEN SHOT of my bank account! Definitely not giving any random place a screen shot of my bank account - they must be out of their mind. They then said I could leave, so I did and then they proceeded to CHASE ME to my car and told me to wait for their boss to come. This was probably one of the worst foot massages I have ever gotten and I have had many. There was barely any pressure and at times it felt like she was just grazing my skin. I asked for more pressure but it didn't make much of a difference so I gave up and just laid there frustrated. I eventually tried to relax and enjoy this light touching. Treated my husband for Father's Day and was hoping it was just my luck with a terrible masseuse and he would have a better experience, unfortunately he did not. I asked him how it was so I can decide how much to tip. $20 is usually my standard and I would leave more or less depending. He said it was mediocre so I wanted to leave $15 but I know times are tough for these workers so I still gave them $20 but will never be back. I made an appointment for 2 people thinking we would get a private room but they still put us in the open area and we were right by the front door even though the rooms were empty. They kept the curtains/drapes knotted up and open during most of the massage and I could see the bright sunlight from outside. If you're looking for any kind of privacy, this is not the place to go. 2 stars because it was easy to book appointment and waited about 10 minutes when we arrived. Previously I owed a massage establishment and was located in a couple Health clubs and Chiropractor offices. It's been a LONG time since I've had a really good deep massage. The first time I had a 60 minute massage at Rose. It was the best I'd had in over 20 years! A couple days ago I revisited and went for a 90 minute deep massage! It was incredible! Let me tell you something...I fractured my knee and had to sleep on my back for what seemed like an eternity. I'd wake up crying from back pain. After my knee healed some, I was finally able to sleep on my side and alleviate the pressure, but the pain persisted. I went in off of a friend's recommendation. I was skeptical at first due to the aesthitics of the establishment but crossed my fingers. I got a male masseuse who wrecked me! I thought I might die because he went so hard ( he asked to go lighter but my pain made me say it was fine). However, I figured he felt something I could not so I went with it out of desperation. I left a lil bruised but feeling pain free. The slight bruising went away but the pain free part stuck! I can't wait to go back.
