This is a great place to destress! I have visited this place a couple of times for massages. It's a great deal for an hour and also recommend paying by cash. You get 10 more minutes under the hours of their happy hour. The vibe is very tranquil, clean and welcoming ! Lynn was my masseuse, and she was extremely professional and knew exactly where my trigger points of stress were and released a lot of that! Wheeew! Can't express how happy and satisfied I am about the service . I've gone about 2-3 prior but today's massage was 10/10 . I told them I had very tight calf's and bad plantar fasciitis. Mike did good work but the owner made sure I was fully satisfied and went above and beyond. Like always very clean environment, respectful, good energy and calm vibes . Please note that the massage session begins at your scheduled appointment time--not when the therapist initiates hands-on treatment. I lost at least 10 minutes due to using the restroom, undressing, and waiting for the therapist to enter the room. It would be helpful to clarify this timing policy in advance so clients can plan accordingly. read more

Depends who you get. My wife loved her massage. Mine was the worst of my life. I would describe it as rushed and jittery. I was scraped by her fingernails a few minutes in which continued. She didn't use enough oil, massages around knotted muscles, and basically squeezed my muscles at such a rapid pace that it made me more tense. I couldn't tell what she was trying to do. I should've stopped the massage and just left. I'm not sure if the person was new or had no training? read more

Belmont Shore Spa was amazing. The quick response for a same-day walk-in and the happy hour special when you pay with cash were impressive. After finishing some shopping and recently hurting my back, we were recommended to try this place. We priced a few places, and this was far more reasonable, especially for the area. We called and got an appointment for later in the afternoon; it couldn't have worked out more perfectly. They asked what we wanted them to focus on, and they did. The hot stones, which came with the happy hour special, felt great. After 70 minutes of bliss, I walked out like I was floating on air. The ladies were so sweet and mentioned they've been at this location for over 18 years. How could I have never been here before? That's about to change. I plan on making it a monthly treat-yourself session, and I recommend you do the same. read more

It was a nice, clean spa. They had heated beds. My massage. Therapist was an older lady. She didn't really apply as much pressure as I hoped for. It felt more like a rub than a massage. The customer service was great. I'm not sure where the disconnect was, but I was told you would get a discount if you pay in cash, however, this is not the case. All in all, I would go back, but try a different massage therapist. read more

Got charged for a deep tissue massage for service with Kim. Basically had someone pat lotion on me for an hour. Told her my leg was hurting, she then proceeded to sit on it while patting my back for 15 minutes straight, even after I reminded her my calf's were hurting. Thought I'd try this place because I used to be a once weekly customer. Clearly, made a good decision to change, way back when. Needless to say, I'm pissed. Paid the fee because it's mostly folks who do not speak English, but will never be returning back. My husband thought it would be cute to come back, it was not. I got a 90-minute massage by Annie and it was perfection! I haven't gotten a massage in well over a year due to COVID and this experience was lovely. Well-priced and felt so good to work out all the knots that 2020 caused. Would 100% recommend this spot and will be returning. They also offered a bottle of water when I was paying so I felt hydrated as I drove home! I would say, parking is a little difficult in the area, since it's street parking only, but they were able to help me find a spot! read more

My husband just tried this place tonight and had great massages! I called to see if they had availability for around 7/7:30 and she scheduled us for 7:15. She asked male or female preference and I said no preference, so she said she would give us a discount. We arrived right at 7:15 (parking in Belmont shore can be a challenge), and flagged down the receptionist to check in. My husband was in a room with one wall on the side and 1 curtain, and my room had walls on both sides but they didn't go up to the ceiling and the entry for each of the rooms is just curtains. While it's not great for sound proofing, there's at least privacy. The room decor was simple but nice, there's soothing massage music playing, and when I got into the table, I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was a heated table. I've never experienced that before and it was super nice! The blankets were also soft and cozy, not stale and thin or rough. Teddy gave my massage and although he kept making phlegmy noises (it may be a tick), his pressure was great. He spent a lot of time on my upper back, which was needed. At the end of the massage he told me I was a big girl.... ummm, what?!? Other than that it was a great experience. My husband said Tina gave his massage and he enjoyed his experience as well. When I paid at the end, there was no discount, as offered on the phone, but for $40 each and a $10 tip, we were still pleased with the experience and we'll be back! read more

My SIL booked me a prenatal massage here a couple of weeks ago which I did not even know was a thing and it was so relaxing! The staff here are also the friendliest I've ever encountered at a massage spa. I've never had a prenatal massage before but they made me feel super comfortable and taken care of. Though the massage is definitely different from one that you can get while lying on your stomach, my stiff neck and shoulders finally got the relief they needed after weeks of discomfort. The best part is that the prenatal massage is not any more expensive than a regular massage! From what I heard, prenatal massages can be very pricey, but not here. I'm super thankful for what they offer here. Would for sure recommend for all the mamas out there. read more

The spa itself was fine and the massage was decent for the price. Where I have an issue is that they DO NOT wear masks and they go out of their way to hide it. The person came in with the mask but took it off immediately - I caught a glimpse a few times. What I should have done was get up and leave. We booked an one hour special $50 today for my husband. He had a wonderful time- he said the lady did a great job relive the stress. On the checkout, we were asked to pay $60 instead of $50. They said the therapist had complained that it took additional work to work on my husband. Interesting.. Eventually they honored the $50 rate. We tipped 20% to the lady. The lady looked at the bill and got mad at me- 10 dollars? I don't want this tip! Give it to the front desk! Wow excuse me.. what kind of attitude is that.. I would have given a 5 given the quality of the massage but the encounter truly left a sour taste in the mouth. So 3 it is. read more

Sandy my massage therapist was great, but this one star is for the front desk lady. My massage was $50 and I tipped 20% and the lady asked me to tip more. I believe in tipping 20% or more, but when a business asks customers to tip more than what they tipped is HIGHLY unprofessional. I used to be a bartender and server & dude I would never tell customers to tip me more or I would never ask someone who didn't tip that they forgot to tip. Like it is what it is. Staff are friendly, but the massage was not satisfying unfortunately. Literally felt like all the masseur did was drown me in oil and rub my body. I literally was questioning the whole time if he was even certified. I specifically told him I had lots of knots on my shoulder and he persisted on doing my whole body. I'm guessing they are probably staffed based on expected demand. I'm guessing they can have 6-8 therapists at anytime. I have not checked on specialty specific skills but they have made me relaxed and feeling better.

The guy that runs the joint is pretty consistent too, always literally saying the same exact sentences whenever we call to book the appt, arrive at the appt, or approach the massage room (my wife and I love when he says "everything, take off". lol). I think it's pretty standard at these types of massage joints, but expect to tip at minimum $20 for a 60 min massage, otherwise they will give you the death eye and you'll be super uncomfortable, so to not get that feeling right after a long, distressful and relaxing massage, just be prepared to fork up the extra $10 in advance before paying and it will be all good vibez. In the end, you're paying $70 for an hour long full body massage with hot stones & oil, which is still a killer deal. And the masseuses do such a great job every single time I've gone, I don't think I've had a bad experience yet (except when my wife got the main dude at the front as her masseuse she didn't really dig that, one because he was a male, two because his keys jingle-jangle the entire 60 minutes, and three he still plays the front desk role and will answer both calls and people entering mid massage, which is such lame and also super weird.
