I'm so excited to share this review! I tried a Thai massage for the first time! Wow, what an experience. I did what they call the Thai Combo and added the CBD oil. I was a bit nervous but I was determined to do it. The thought of someone walking on your back is intimidating. However, it didn't feel as weighty as I'd expected. I'm sure it helped that my tech was petite. This feels like a much more therapeutic experience than a traditional massage. By the time you're done, your muscles have been thoroughly stretched. It wasn't as relaxing as a traditional massage but I felt the benefits of it a lot more. It was also very intuitive. I highly recommend coming here. Everyone was so nice and made me feel really comfortable. I loved the Thai music they played. Also, the space is very clean. It's just a 15 minute walk down The Promenade from the Hyatt Regency here in Long Beach. read more

Late post! I went 11/2024...I had a membership at a massage chain for 8+ years that I was extremely happy with, but since we moved away, I couldn't find a location near us. Sooooooo....I checked yelp and it lead me here. The layout is a little confusing, because from the street, you enter into a barber shop! It's a very cute barbershop, but I was the first appointment and my masseuse hadn't arrived yet, so I sat there waiting. After a couple of minutes, the establishment's owners gave me the grand tour. There's more than a barber shop and massage therapy rooms! There's a sauna and massage/compression chairs for members. Once my masseuse arrived, I was taken back to my room to prepare for my massage. My masseuse is a lovely woman from Thailand who exhibits great strength when giving a massage and stretching. Interestingly, we went to Thailand a month later, and I didn't have the same great experience! The masseuse wasn't nearly as strong. My SIL (from Bangkok) booked my massage for me, so I know there was no language barrier. At least I now know I don't have to travel 20 hours for a great Thai massage! I highly recommend this place and if I hadn't misplaced my masseuse's card, I would have given her credit. Sorry!!! read more

WOW!!! When I tell you I am pleasantly surprised & satisfied. I am just that! Managed to book a same day appt w/ Som. She was really sweet and luckily I was in the area so when I called at 3 hoping to be squeezed in before they closed at 5 I lucked up and they had a spot open. I scheduled a 90min Thai Combo, She sent me a text to confirm and I was on my way! I got a little lost at first because I didn't realize this location is INSIDE of the barbershop! Yes, INSIDE. All good though, I waited maybe 5 min before I was greeted by Latrina. The rooms were just inside the shop and again to my surprise it was a cozy room with a heated bed and soft sounding music. There's a curtain separating the 2nd table so keep in mind it's not entirely private but it wasn't distracting. NOW THIS MASSAGE!!!! LISTENNNNNNN!!! Ms. Latrina has hands from HEAVEN! She is touched from the gods. I'm convinced. She applied the perfect pressure (for me) while constantly checking in to make sure it was ok. With the combo it was a mix of stretching, Thai, Swedish & Hot stones from head to toe okay!? she didn't do any of that lazy stuff either (like using the elbow for majority or fists) she kneaded my back thoroughly and made sure each side of my body was shown equal attention. I was KNOCKED! I Def Recommend!! **Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because again, this is inside a barbershop and the walls are thin. The rooms have been renovated and there are more rooms available for massages, the prices are also reasonable. I booked a deep tissue massage with hot stones for 90 minutes and paid around $140? I was very happy with my massage and huge kudos to Amy because she was incredible! This may have been the best massage experience I've had at the B room. I was used to coming to his place for years and had the best experience, and I think they recently changed staff or owners and their new management is unorganized. First, they had my appointment wrong, and then they didn't account for my request for a couples massage, and when we arrived, they only had staff for one. Also, they remodeled the location but forgot to include signage for the bathroom, so prepare to open all the secret doors possible before finding the restroom. While i had a decent massage the experience was not. I should have read the reviews i guess but i didn't know it was located inside a barber shop. The doors to the room open right into the barber shop and you can hear everything; vacuum, laughter, chatter etc. The masseuse kept opening the door to the barber shop in the middle of my massage. There is no curtain or anything separating the door to the massage bed , so everyone could look inside- so uncomfortable!!! Yes, the price is good for 60 min but not worth it for the location. Called this morning and was able to accommodate our appointment for 5:15pm which was great. Reason being was my day started off with a failed attempt for someone breaking into my car. I was in desperate need of a massage, my back was all kinds of jacked up. I booked a deep tissue the day prior and thank baby Jesus I did! Som (I believe that is how you spell/pronounce it) worked magic on me, I feel absolutely amazing now. She starts by warming you up before getting deep into the muscles. I've never had someone walk on me like she did, but it was affective and she didn't put all her weight on me so it wasn't painful. She also did some stretching which was really nice. Then she got into my back and for such a small woman she was super powerful hands! I was relaxed and comfortable the entire massage, only once or twice did I take that deep breath when she was deep in the muscles (but I also asked for it). I've had many massages from tons of "professional" massage places and this was possibly better than all of them. The only downside of this place is it's inside a barber shop and there is a lot of noise from outside and inside the shop. If you can just live in the moment and block the noise out it's seriously worth your time and money to get a massage here. Next time I'm in LA I will come back! read more

They are both absolutely incredible. Very communicative and skilled. I asked for a combo of Thai and Swedish massage. That's exactly what I got. She used her feet, hands, elbows, oils, hot rocks... I texted the number on their website and booked a same day appointment within minutes. Free parking is available behind the building on Broadway. They accept card, cash, Venmo, and Zelle. The barber shop is closed on Sundays, but massages are available by appointment. I was greeted by friendly staff. The private room was clean, relaxing, and smelled of essential oils. I opted for the combination massage, which includes stretching and hot stones. Alex was phenomenal! He was communicative, took his time to massage sore areas, and checked in with me every so often. Miss Lisa has powerful and gentle hands, focused on my tired spots and quickly worked out the kink I had in my left shoulder blade (computer work). Before walking in, I couldn't turn my head left without pain. After 90 minutes with Miss Lisa and her magic, I'm back to business.
