We love their food. It's a great place. They are generous to the community. They do a lot of business and many have been dining there for years. We love to meet up there with friends or a group. Definitely recommend going. It's in the country and if you aren't looking for it you'll miss it. Came here on a Thursday night for dinner. The bar was pretty filled but there were only a few of us at the tables on the patio. The patio is really nice, by the way. It would be better if they didn't allow smoking, but it was nice nonetheless. I briefly went inside. From what I could see, they have a big bar with a few tables on the side. Maybe there is another room with more tables? Not sure, but from what I saw, I probably wouldn't come here if I had to sit inside. For my meal, I got a side salad, sweet and hot wings, and French fries. Nothing was bad. The wings were large and were served as a full wing. Very happy about that. But unfortunately, I think they could have been cooked a little longer to get a nice crispy exterior. And the sauce had very little flavor. Both the salad and the fries were fine. Even though I'm giving my experience only 3 stars, I would come back on a nice evening and sit outside again. Something tells me that maybe they just had a bad night. read more

First time I have ever left a bad review. As usual they were out of the zucchini logs. They were also out of the pizza bolis The icing on the cake was no blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Was also upset one of the waitresses dropped one of my wife's wings on the floor. She told us she would have another one fried in the kitchen. Brought another wing out in two minutes. Wife and I had Dinner at the Harbor Inn. Service was great food was awesome. Coffee was hot and fresh. Quaint place to dine but way out of the normal area. We enjoyed the drive but local traffic flies on this narrow road to the Restaurant. A bar is adjacent to the dining area. A bit noisy but not too intrusive. There is partition between dining and the bar. Parking lot is gravel so if you arrive in your Bentley you might need a wash later. Again was a wonderful experience and I believe you will enjoy the drive and food. read more

My BF and I stopped today. I got a pizza and he got some mashed potatoes The pizza tasted like shit and the mashed potatoes were warm, not hot and they could have tasted better. Had surf n turf which took over 25 minutes,and finally arrived,lukewarm at best,crabcakes came with a side of greyish hair,grilled shrimp was overcooked,and very tough,and my medium steak,was like shoe leather..servers were great,and very friendly,i think her name was liz. Definitely off the beaten path! But if you happen by you should stop! Food is good, beer is cold and prices are very reasonable. Have had the peel and eat tiger shrimp (cold) and they are always excellent. The fish sandwich is good, the wings (if you like whole wings) are good. The pizza and burgers look good as well. This place is a hidden gem! A little off the beaten path on a back road cutting through the ridge from Latrobe to Ligonier. It's a very scenic drive from either direction. We stopped in this afternoon after biking in the Laurel Highlands and sat on the patio. We were greeted immediately and the server came with disposable menus, placemats and wrapped silverware pretty quickly. Since there were 4 of us, we got a good idea of many items on the menu. We ordered a basket of onion rings and their special of 6 whole wings for $6 as appetizers. Both were excellent. Fried to perfection. Sweet Hot sauce was very tasty. Entrees ordered were Ultimate Cheesesteak, Yuengling battered fish sandwich, Rueben and their crab stuffed haddock. We were all very happy with our meals. Sides included French fries, sweet potato fries and a side salad which was a nice mix of greens, carrots, green pepper and tomato. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and the food was delicious. I'll go back, and I'll tell my friends. Prices were very reasonable and the place was clean. Can't ask for more! read more

While visiting a friend in Ligonier, we went here for dinner. The restaurant has a very quaint atmosphere similar to the town itself. I ordered the fish and chips, which were a little overcooked. For Lent, they offered pierogies as a side, and I was pleasantly surprised with them! read more

This has been our local restaurant for over 20 years-it has changed owners that made improvements-outside patio, broader menu with excellent specials. The food keeps getting better. We really have tried just about everything on the menu-appetizers are great-the zucchini/mozzarella is delicious and unique. I bought my parents a Restaurant.com gift certificate for this place so they could try something new. They reported the food was cold and very tasteless, they were not given parts of their order and their menu is not at all what is shown on the Restaurant.com website. More that all of that, they were charged an $8 SERVICE FEE for absolutely nothing. My parents are the type to just want to leave more than fight, but I still can't believe they were treated so badly and just took it. Shame on you Harbor Inn. My husband and I have dined at the Harbor Inn 3 times in the last 4 months. Fast friendly service, excellent menu, great food in a very clean environment. Dining area well away from the bar. Only problem, have to walk thru bar to the restrooms. NO SMOKING even in the bar area. read more

Also purchased a restaurant.com certificate to try out. My husband and I were the only people in the entire restaurant. Service was good. Food was hot but needed more seasoning, even some salt. Biggest complaint was getting charged a service charge of almost 8 dollars for using the restaurant.com certificate. When I questioned the charge, the waitress responded that she was instructed to charge this for any one using a restaurant.com certificate. Just my opinion but I wouldn't think that's a way to ensure repeat customers. read more
