I finally had to call the store, only to be told that the person handling curbside was "alone at customer service." Meanwhile, I watched multiple employees walking in and out with carts like nothing was going on. When my order finally came out, it wasn't even in a box! Just loose, like some random item thrown together. When I questioned it, the employee tried to lie and say it was a demo. Then changed the story and said "that's just how it comes." They even had the nerve to mark my order as picked up after I rejected it. The ONLY positive was the man actually working at customer service -- he was kind and trying his best. But overall, this location needs serious management attention. Terrible experience.

Usually I'm a hands-on shopper - you know the ones who pick and choose items on their own…read more However, considering that there were 10 bags of 40 lb (Water Softener crystals); I chose to "exercise my rights" for a curb-side pickup. But the sight of a gentleman hauling the trolley of 400 lbs worth weight broke my conscience and made me guilty of ordering that kind of quantity online and having it lugged by someone else. Regardless, he was such a decent young man who ungrudgingly helped me load the bags (40 lb each) into the vehicle. At the end of it, when I heartily offered a tip, he politely declined it. I insisted on taking it anyway, since his effort was way more than any amount offered as a tip !!! Needless to say, I have a high respect for people who don't crave for tips. But, what a heart-warming experience on a chillingly-cold day at Lowes :)

Since it was at 6 p.m. and the store was already closed, I went back the next day and asked that they refund me the $2.00 difference, which they refused. Happily I returned them back to the store and went and bought them at the other ace store. This time I bought five extra bags for all of my neighbors. Beware of this greedy place. Prices are fair, and the kitchen section is honestly where I spend my time. Cookware, organization tools, knives, those little strainers for your sink drain ... every imaginable kitchen tool or resource is here. I don't shop the other sections so I can't speak to those except to reiterate: there's always a little "beyond" that you didn't know you needed until you see it. This location is kept clean and well organized, although the clearance section up front always seems a bit ramshackle to me. I've never had anything but positive interactions with employees. They always seem to greet, thank and generally ask if they can help without pestering. Checkout lines on weekends can move slowly. If you're in a rush, this is not the store for you. All in all, a reasonable experience.
