Usually I'm a hands-on shopper - you know the ones who pick and choose items on their own. However, considering that there were 10 bags of 40 lb (Water Softener crystals); I chose to "exercise my rights" for a curb-side pickup. But the sight of a gentleman hauling the trolley of 400 lbs worth weight broke my conscience and made me guilty of ordering that kind of quantity online and having it lugged by someone else. Regardless, he was such a decent young man who ungrudgingly helped me load the bags (40 lb each) into the vehicle. At the end of it, when I heartily offered a tip, he politely declined it. I insisted on taking it anyway, since his effort was way more than any amount offered as a tip !!! Needless to say, I have a high respect for people who don't crave for tips. Normally use the store in Willow Grove but they did not have some items in stock. Ordered a gallon on wood stain and sealer and when i got home I realized that they never tinted it. Called store and spoke with their curb side pick up and was told to reorder and pay for new gallon and also start a return for incorrect item and we could do a simple exchange at curbside pick up. Did as told an was on my way to exchange within 30 minutes. When i arrived was told they could not exchange at curbside. I would need to go into the store to return. I explained that due to health issues, I cannot go into public buildings and have not done so for over a year- the employee said i could ship the item back. I asked if they covered shipping cost and was told no. I understand there are store policies but occasionally, exceptions need to be made. I also looked up their policy and it says returns need to be brought to the store- it does not negate curb pick up as an option. I put the amount in dispute with my charge card and am eager to get in touch with upper management as i am sure they understand customer service- we shall see. read more

I don't remember the last time shop at Lowe's on Warrington due to the past poor customer service but since I was in the area I need to pick up a small bag of grout for my travertine flooring with the help of one the lowes staff and informed me that if the color does not match I can bring it back for a refund. I purchased a 10lbs bag of grout in a biscuit color per her recommendation. I went home open the bag test a small sample to see if the color would match but it didn't . I attempted to return the product a few days later and when I was at the return counter the staff ask the nearby manager if she can make the return. the manger pick up the bag grout and accused me I front of her staff that I have used 1/2 of the content inside and using condescending narrative toward me by questioning whether I would buy a bag of opened and used grout back if I was her. I was taken back by that kind of remarks and informed her that I barely used the grout and ask if she want to weight the bag to see if it's nearly 10lbs since I barely used it and with attitude behavior she went back the store to pick up new bag of 10lbs grout for comparison. A few minutes later she came back with one hand a bag of grout and pick up my bag of grout on her other hand and comparing the weight. Since she realized that the two bags are insignificantly different in weight she gave the staff the order to make the return for me and left the scene without saying a word to me over a $20 bag of grout. At this time, I felt so humiliated, embarrassed and powerless. After this incident, I would never shop at Lowe's again. There are other smaller hardware store where they need and want your business and treated you with dignity. I guess I was Not the only one who had bad experience with Lowe's. Lowe's need to retrained and rehired new staffs with better customer service or else they will loose lots of businesses. read more

Not a fan of the employees here and how they act whenever I shop at this store. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise here since before 2015 for my house yet every time I come in here the people follow me like I'm going to steal something if I come without my kids and wife. Loss prevention would stand on the aisle right next to me and it's quite obvious since they just stare at the shelf and never pick anything up and don't have a cart. For example I bought ice melt, zip ties, Razer blades and a toilet gasket and the guy was on the aisle when I was looking and then when I went to get the razer blades he followed me just staring at the shelves never picking anything up. They act like the guy out of the movie mall cop with no common sense. When I'm at self checkout they walk behind me and stare at the screen not saying anything. Totally unacceptable not to mention they already have an attitude like I'm branded a thief. Home Depot employees don't act like this. I never stole anything by the way and if they can track thieves they should know how much I shop here and spent over the years. My Mom and I did a curbside pickup order for a six foot lattice fence. There was designated parking for curbside pickup which was nice, but they were obviously very busy and did not pick up the phone right away. It took a little while for the male employee to come out, but when he did, he definitely did not seem super friendly. My Mom questioned him about the size of the fence (it looked so much smaller than six feet in his hands) but he seemed annoyed that we asked. The condition of the fence also did not seem in good shape; as if it has been left outside all spring. The wood was chipping off and the white looked stained. read more

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews for this store, but a lot also seem to be for contracting services and/or online issues. Can't attest to those, my own experience was an in-store typical customer purchasing an item and was blown away at the customer service. I had been shopping at Home Depot since they're a bit closer to my home than Lowe's, but HD's customer service has gone completely in the toilet - my last 3-4 visits I was met with incompetence (we all know there's a labor shortage, seems they hire anyone and give them a minimum of training before turning them loose) and downright rudeness. So I drove the extra mile to Lowe's. Looking up at the aisle numbers to try to find where I need to go to get my items, this employee "Brad" is zooming by me obviously on his way to do something when he saw me looking up, stopped, and asked if I needed any help. Told him what I was looking for, he said "follow me" and TOOK me to the aisles where what I was looking for was found - he didn't point, he personally took me there. With a smile asked if there was anything else. What a COMPLETE reversal from what I had experienced at Home Depot! So thanks, Brad, you just made for Lowe's a loyal customer! Cashier check-out experience was friendly, not as over-the-top as Brad was, but nice enough. Lowe's is now my go-to place, I'll drive the extra mile. I've made my last purchase at this Lowe's Home Improvement Location. My cooktop at my home died on March 3. That weekend, I went to this Lowe's location and ordered "a detail" in which you pay $35 for someone to come out and take measurements to ensure the new cooktop I selected would fit. You're supposed to get a call to schedule the detail within 48 hours or two business days. Weeks went by. I called the store. The only answer their appliance department seems to offer is "I don't know." In all, so far, I've made five trips to Lowes to sort this out. I was told my paperwork was lost. I was told the detail order was "faxed" to the wrong installer (who uses a fax machine in 2017?). Then I was told the paperwork was filed incorrectly. Finally, in late March, they came to take the measurements. Great. Now we're cooking, right? Wrong. I had to make a fourth trip in because the paperwork wasn't completed. So I did that. It took almost an hour because they couldn't find the paperwork ... again. At one point I asked to purchase the cooktop and do it myself. I was told no. They won't sell it to me because they get too many returns. Oh, and the cooktop isn't even in stock (despite the sticker on the floor model that says "Buy this in-stock item today!" They said they'd have to have that model cooktop, which was available in their Langhorne store (a 30-40 minute drive) shipped to them. That would take 16 days. I offered to get it myself. Again, I was told I am not allowed to get the item I am paying for. So another two-weeks-plus was wasted. When the cooktop finally came in, I was told to come in to pay for it - fifth trip! I get there and guess what - they can't find the paperwork. Also, they can't find the cooktop. Finally, after 45 minutes the appliance guy, George - a genuinely nice guy who was the only person in all my trips remotely interested in solving this mystery and making it right for me, the customer - get's everything squared away. He apologized and thanked me for my patience. George deserves hazard pay, because whoever runs his department is incompetent. I sincerely appreciated George's help. He told me I'd get a phone call to schedule the installation of the cooktop no later than 7 p.m. on April 2. Today is April 7. I've received no call to install the cooktop that is bought, paid-for and allegedly at the Warrington location (though I'm not allowed to have it). Just before this fiasco, we bought a door at Lowe's. While not as complicated, there were hiccups there as well with details and installers. But this last go-around is the icing on the cake. I'm done. Clearly no one takes ownership of these install projects on Lowe's side. They never follow up to see if their subcontractors do what the sales people in the store say they will do. Worse, the majority of those working in appliances (except George) seem indifferent, lacking basic customer service skills other than to type information into their allegedly failing computer systems. Keep in mind - I've shopped at this location for about 6 or 7 years. It wasn't always this bad, but based on other reviews and the mea culpa of the management there, their customer service and follow-through is terrible. If you have a project you care about and you expect this Lowe's location to be helpful, you are in for a rude awakening. Don't spend your hard-earned money here. Even if you pay a bit more elsewhere, you will avoid weeks of total screw-ups and sales people who make plain when you complain that while they "understand" they also could not possibly care less. read more

I been to several different Lowe's as a contractor, at the Warrington store, Matt and Bill were extremely helpful regarding a concern. When a customer bought many items online, there was a particular item that had an optional item that works with it. The Larson screen/storm door showed that a particular Larson lock will work with the door. The lock did not fit! The Lowe's that the homeowner bought the actual lock was not helpful. It's good to see that there are still some great customer service in some people. Although the site can still be fixed by bringing the attention to the proper people and is not, this review is for Matt and Bill. Thank you for your help! read more

I purchased Ego string trimmer + battery+ charger at Lowes around 1 year ago. I used the trimmer lightly only on the edge of lawn. The trimmer motor stopped working a month ago and Ego customer service center asked me bring the bare tool along with battery and charger to Lowes for a repair request. Lowes asked me to leave all three pieces in the store and said they will work with Ego to check them and notify me once the fix is done. I got Ego's notification and shipment of a replaced string trimmer after 2 weeks. I made the call to Ego asking where my battery and charger are, and they told me that they only got the broken bare tool and asked me to ask Lowes for battery and charger. Then the nightmare began, I made several calls to Lowes and even went to the store in person for several times, but they couldn't give me the battery and charger I left ( I have serial number registered and on repair service form). Instead, they tried to give me other older used ones. Apparently, Lowes lost my battery and charger, and didn't want to take the accountability. I will never be Lowes customer again. read more

Horrible horrible experience. Our refrigerator broke and we couldn't find one in the size we need in stock anywhere. We finally found one at Lowes and ordered it for delivery. We were told it was being delivered on Saturday. Saturday came and went, no fridge. I checked the order status and it was rescheduled for the next Saturday. The next Saturday came and went, no fridge and no communication. I called the store and was passed around to about 3 different customer service reps to be told that the fridge wasn't in stock and was never coming, ever. I then had to call another store to order a fridge that is smaller than the one we needed but it was our only option. I called the store 4x to order and no one from appliances answered so I was forced to order online. I was told it was being delivered on Monday, no fridge - then Tuesday, no fridge - then Thursday, no fridge. However, they had no problem charging my credit card. At this point we are fed up and still have no fridge. Being that I have a large family this has not only caused an inconvenience but also a lot of money on take out for meals since we have no fridge to store food. I've been going to this Lowe's for as long as it's been open. I really can't say I have any complaints. Sometimes though during the summer you can get some deals (usually 75% off) in the garden section with their "dead & dying" rack. A lot of these plants are able to be brought back to life. It's just sad they were neglected to get to that point. The other day I came in to get a bunch of pipe insulation. I measured the pipe before heading out. I headed to another dept to get some zip ties. The employee there thought the insulation looked a little too big. I explained it was for the main water line. It was nice he thought I could have been buying the wrong size and questioned me. read more

I like to go to Lowe's to buy lumber and various things, but recently I had a horrible experience with getting gutters installed just for the front of my home. Lowes loves to have contractors do most of their work and if you think they're going to be accountable for their workmanship you have another thing coming. Although their prices are reasonable, if you have any issues with the installer or the scheduled date for the installation forget about getting Lowes to follow through with their vendors. They they place the responsibility completely on you to work with them 100% of the time. No accountability whatsoever if things go wrong or if you don't like the date that you were given or even if you got a date at all which is what happened to me. I had to pay 100% upfront and it took two months to get the installation done which was done and a half assed manner. The only way I was able to get them to give me a schedule date was to threaten to cancel the order. 10 minutes later when a manager was supposed to call me I get a call from the installer saying he'll do it the next day. BEWARE OF LOWE'S OF EASTON, MARYLAND: Very bad experience with my kitchen install. The foreman was very inflexible, and called all the shots, not the designer, the manager or the corporate office. KITCHEN STILL NOT COMPLETED!!!!! The newly hired designer did know what she was doing, and made promises that she could not keep. When went things went bad, she refused to return my calls, and just went along with whatever the foreman said to her. She made decisions without telling me which seriously impacted my kitchen design and the project overall. They do not care about quality, and made so many mistakes on the materials needed - I had to wait 6-8 weeks every time for the right cabinet to show up - three times this happened. When the kitchen plumbing started to leak after they put it back, the foreman refused to come fix it saying that I had to get my own plumber, but the corporate office would not commit to reimbursing me. The bottom of my brand new cabinet was damaged. The corporate office will not do anything to fix this problem. We will have to go to court to settle this. read more

Our elderly parents (86 and 91) went to Lowe's in Warrington on March 2016 to supply new equipment and remodel the townhouse they bought in Doylestown,Pa. They though thaving Lowe's also do the installation would simplify the work and result in a better job. There were problems from the start. Lowe's sub-contractor left scattered wood and metal trash all over the house and did not removed it until they complained. Much of the work was poorly performed and needed re-doing. They turned up the heat quite a bit and left windows and the front door opened at the same time. Lowe's inspected the work when the contractor said the work was finished and compiled a list of 31 defects that had to be addressed.The contractor made a half-hearted effort to correct problems but many defects remained. By then my parents had to hire($400.00) a licensed home inspection firm and the report sums it up: " It is our opinion that the project was poorly managed and executed. There appears to have been limited over-site by Lowe's and the local authorized authority. Considering the items found during our time on site, major concerns as to safety on the installed items exist. This includes but is not limited to the electrical, cabinets, safety bars. It is recommended at a minimum the shower safety bars installation be confirmed as to meeting the manufactures specifications." It should be noted that this was a big job and cost $100,000 which had to paid in full and in advance in order to get the work started. After 6 months of constant aggravation and delay the work is finally, hopefully, completed with final walk- through September 1,2016. It is hard to understand why a nation-wide firm of Lowe's standing would jeopardize their their reputation with such an episode, especially with with elderly customers. read more

I wish Yelp had a no star option. This place sure deserves it! I bought a refrigerator which was a nightmare from the start. There were many problems with the door being dented and the old refrigerator being moved. As with another poster, we purchased this from the scratch & dent dept. and dents were covered with signs. After much hassle, a new door was ordered. Trying to get it from the store was another fiasco. It was there in early December. We went to the store to get it, but was told twice that it was there SOMEWHERE, but they couldn't find it!! Finally, we went down there, and demanded our door. Paying for this turned out to be a nightmare.. I optioned for the 6 month payment plan. I paid for my bill every month plus around $180 extra as I didn't want to get a big bill at the end of the 6 month period. I received my February bill. Interest charges are $71.14!! I questioned how that can be, as my 6 month period is not over. I called the toll-free number and they explained the payment-any payment- only goes to payoff the refrigerator, so therefore I am being charged interest on purchases that they claim are unpaid for!! The cashier that set the program up never said one word about how the program works. Lowe's is the last place I will ever buy an appliance. It's far more trouble and expense than it is worth. We kept ALL this in mind when shortly thereafter we needed a new dishwasher. We went elsewhere. We did go to this Lowe's recently for garden dept. purchases. We didn't find anyone in that department, so we went to the one next to it,where the outdoor grilles are kept. Ha! The employees gathered there were gathered about in a personal conversation. I was an interruption. When I did get to ask one of them for help, he sure didn't offer much!! read more

I'm honestly shocked and appalled at the quality of tropical plants in this store. The plants themselves are dead and out on display for those curious enough to view. You'd have to actually try to kill a succulent and this Lowe's has succeeded in doing so. I feel awful for these poor plants. Other than the green house, the store is adequate in supplying those in need. The employees are helpful in listening but obviously do not water the plants habitually. read more

Mike, in lumber, was extremely helpful! I wanted to build an ottoman, but wasn't really sure where to begin. I figured I'd just check out prices and whatnot, but soon became overwhelmed with the large selection that I know little about. Mike must have seen my bewildered face and offered to help. He walked me through the isles to pick out the right material for my project and even helped me figure out measurements and then cut the wood to size. Plus he helped me pick out the correct hardware. This store is worst I have ever dealt with. Very inept management, at best. I ordered a microwave and range. Supposed to be delivered Monday, but no call no show. Was supossed to get the microwave Tuesday. Never got any notification. Called the store they said it was not picked up yet and they would reach out to the installer. Next phone I get is from the installer. "I'm in the driveway." Really?? Now I called to inquire about the range. They said no one came to pick it up on Monday. Ok, and.... They said they would guarantee a Thursday delivery. For those keeping track, that is 3 work days that I have to be available. Thursday comes and I am now scheduled for 12-4PM. Installer gets there and says they will not install only drop off. Then left. All the store says to you, is "Should have come in the store to ordered." That is the only excuse I get. This place is absolutely horrible and should be shut down and the "employees" thrown out on their asses. BTW. Still I have not had any help. Oven still siting in the living room. read more

This places wouldn't return a 5.76 item so I could exchange it for something else with out a license. I couldn't give them my info or license number. What a joke. Customer service is 0 at this location. Other then the people that help with conduction question. This does not count the time they sent someone to out to install a door at my house and told me it could be custom door install. After measuring it myself and telling them they were wrong the reordered the correct door in return lowing there price by almost $1,000. I am so disappointed with this Lowe's location. My husband and me went in picked out a new shower door, paid for installer measurements. This call from installer was promised within 2 business days. Didn't happen for 4 weeks with my chasing him, store and customer service down. He finally came to my home, measured door and door/install was ordered and paid this took another 4 weeks installer scheduled work to be done 12/21/18. I called to confirm date night before, having taken off work to have this done. I called to confirm with him 3 times, left voicemails. No response then I called the store and customer service. Customer services told me the door was damaged and people forgot to call me. They gave me nothing to compensate me for my time, loss pay or aggravation only told me that I could come in and order another one. I canceled a nearly $1000,00 order due to shear incompetence. So I purchased a washer and dryer here on Labor Day. They told me it would be a week late, although they assured me when I asked that there wouldn't be an issue after that. Of course they were wrong. A couple days before it was supposed to be delivered they called and said that it was going to delayed an additional 3 weeks until the beginning of October. I complained and they cancelled my order. Basically, they put me on hold because I asked to speak to a manager, I waited 10 minutes and no one responded, hung up and they cancelled it. I didn't find out until a week later when I dropped into the Quakertown Lowe's that it had been cancelled. They weren't really willing to do anything initially. Luckily, the wonderful lady at the Quakertown Lowe's basically walked me through what to say to them. They finally agreed to give me the Labor Day price but then told me I had to wait until October 10th. The day before they were supposed to deliver I never got a phone call. I called them and they told me it was now the 19th. The worst part is they were not willing to help at all. All they would tell me us that it was the manufacturers problem and that I could buy a different one. Finally, I went to the Lowe's in Quakertown. They were amazing. I ended up just buying one from them. As a final screw you, they are telling me I have to cancel in person in the store, 45 minutes away. And the lady abruptly hung up on me.
