My family stopped by Bountiful Acres the other day to look for some flowers for the backyard. All staff and patrons were required to wear face masks while working/perusing. Understandably flowers and home improvement are hot commodities during these COVID-19 laden times, however, this particular garden center was extremely expensive. And no, I'm not referencing a comparison to Home Depot, or Walmart, Bountiful Acres was noticeably more expensive than other garden centers I had visited within the same day. Great selection, but very pricey.

Very unique Nursery . With so many in door plant collections . I love it . They have big collection for the holidays decor , very beautiful set up inside of the shop also . I found some clay pots with reasonable price. That is a plus . I will definitely go back !

They helped us design and then planted a few planters for us.

We've driven past here a couple of times over the years headed to other places. Now living nearby, we were on our way home from a CSA farm sale and decided to stop in and hopefully find some hanging baskets. We have a love hate relationship with purchasing these annually. Cha-ching!!! We loved this place so much that we stopped in again a few weeks later to buy a few extra large planters for curb appeal. The prices on these huge heavy planters (ceramic and terra cotta) were comparable to other suppliers including online. We ended up having their staff help us design and plant two of the huge planters. That was a pricey ordeal but the results and compliments from all of our neighbors show the results. They helped us load everything into the car as well. One of these years, we'll finally make good on our promise to start our own from seeds... But until then, there's always Bountiful Acres.

Lots of plants and flowers to choose from.

They did look a little wilted and brown in spots, but it's been a rough summer. It wasn't concerning as there was plenty of bright green healthy looking growth and berries. Everything is looking that way at the moment. I placed them in a spot that gets morning sun and afternoon shade. Kept an eye on how damp they were and watered accordingly. By Friday they are brown, black and the twigs have a white residue. I took a bunch of pictures and called Geerlings. That was the worse customer service I have ever come across. Their nursery manager insisted I wasn't watering them. Didn't ask to see pictures, didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Kept yelling at me to listen to him, but all he was yelling was that I need to water them. I had them for 4day! It isn't a heat wave! I watered them! I kept trying to explain that I was watering them and checking the soil. He told me they don't offer guarantees to keep watering them and hung up on me. I got ahold of a friend that works in a growhouse in a different state. He said that it's a systemic issue, either severely damaged roots or toxicity. Also, that the containers they were kept in were way to small for their size. 200 dollars, down the drain.

When we first started going this was a nice affordable way to spend a Saturday afternoon, and purchase a couple of pumpkins. I do not know what has happened. These events have become overly commercial and very expensive. All of the activities now take tickets. There was a slide that cost 2 dollars. This seemed exceedingly expensive. It used to be the activities were free, but you paid for food, the pumpkins, etc. I can understand charging for a hayride which we rode, and I have to say it was very nice , relaxing and fun. Both my 15 year old and 6 year old enjoyed this hayride. There is a lot to do, and the activities are fun. However, as stated above, you will pay for everything you do or eat here. The corn maze was fun, but a bit short. The highlight was the hayride. They did have a guy playing guitar and singing country types of songs. He was quite good, and the music added to the atmosphere. The hours are 12-4 which really should be expanded to end at 5 or 6. The bottom line is we had a good time, but spent over $75 for a 2 1/2 hour visit. This is not a very good value.

When she opened the box (it was not cellophane wrapped), it was only 2/3 full. I returned to the store, and the woman at the counter opened two other boxes of the same size for a possible exchange. One was about 1/2 full and the other was missing a smaller amount, still not full. Their solution? Offer me the fullest one or pour some from another bottle--what?! Larger sizes were cellophane wrapped, making me wonder if these had been testers. When I asked for a refund, stating that it is a defective product, the owner was called to the front and condescendingly refused, offering store credit only. I had spent a total of $232 at the store the day I purchased the cologne, just a week prior! The young girl at the counter was extremely kind and apologetic. However, the owner clearly does not stand behind her products or value customers. I have made many purchases at this store over the years. I will not be returning!

Wow what a dive this took. Prices went up, customer service went down…read more I went in, asking for advice about a plant my mother, who passed away, had given me. It is really special to me that the plant lives as long as it can. The older man at the counter said, "Have you tried not worrying about it? It's going to do whatever it wants." That was his ONLY *advice*. I asked him about maybe adding a rooting agent and he said that was a good idea and then *instructed* me on how to use a rooting agent... incorrectly. If a plant isn't growing it's the environment that needs to change. You can't leave it up to the plant. This is basic gardening logic. I needed advice adjusting the environment -- soil, nutrients, a grow light -- not complete apathy. This garden center has the highest prices of any in the area, but I'd pay it for people who care and know what they're doing. I'm not paying $10 for rooting agent (which I already have) and an extra surcharge of the audacity.

When I made my last purchase and was walking it to my vehicle, the employee walked out and followed me asking me if I had purchased the item. Her accusatory tone was unnecessary and disrespectful. If you are going to insinuate that I was actively stealing something you better have some evidence. I've tolerated the low level of service here long enough and won't be coming back.
