I went on the website and contacted them via email as indicated on the website. I had a couple back-and-forth conversations with Bill and I requested them to come out and replace the dead tree. He never replied. I'm fully willing to pay for this however I just need somebody to do the work. I then called and Bill answered the phone. He said he's very busy but to text him my address and one of his sons would come out and take a look to see why my tree died and to replace. That was two weeks ago and still no response. I'm taking my services elsewhere and will never use them again due to the poor customer service.

Supply chain issues have left few choices among Bountiful Acres' competition, but they seem to have figured it out and kept the lines of communication and supply open with their vendors. Andy helped us on our recent visit. He's been their 20+ years and was so friendly and helpful. He also offered some great, insightful advice on some landscaping materials we asked about for privacy screening. Definitely worth the trip.

After the mall, I wanted to bring my wife to someplace that she would really enjoy. She's an avid indoor plant collector and lover -preferably non toxic to cats. They do have a wide variety of plants and especially indoor plants. Pepperonias and the like. We didn't even explore the outside portion and it took her about an hour to explore the place thoroughly. At one point, we did get a bit lost. Also, at one point I saw a wandering cat somewhere. Looked cute and pudgy. The plants here are well maintained and managed. My wife even commented on how well they grow and she didn't even know some plants grew to those sizes. My wife is very particular with which plants go into her collection and does cost benefit analysis. The fact that she ended up buying two plants here is a good sign that the value is here. For me, I was just happy that she's happy. I'm sure if we're in the area again, we would be back again.

I imagine they won't last even though they have hundreds now. They're too nice to pass up. Remember always try to tip the staff when they trim the tree up, net it and put it on or in your car. I'm sure the staff depends on extra money for Christmas and I have zero relation or incentive to say please tip. Just a long time customer that appreciates small businesses and great service. We met Jerry Fritz and company back at the Flower Show, Jerry has since been on the Martha Stewart Show and travels all over with his rare, unusual and cutting edge plants and ideas! My mother and I took a terrarium class with the fantastic Jess in the gorgeous 100 year old ( or older? younger?) barn with the light pouring in from the windows. Jess gave a great class. For ten dollars, you brought your own vessels, or you could buy one at the shop. They also sold plants, but provided us with stones, charcoal, potting soil and some neat wood, sea glass and other ornamentals for our pretties! Seriously a bargain. Everyone who participated in class was really friendly and lovely. I've taken classes at Paper Source or other places in philly and had to endure some snobby folks! Where do I begin? The bathroom is in a quaint little one room house, the bathroom house is also home to a lot of the air plants. Jerry's airplants are like none other. He has made balls out of some and just the varieties are amazing. I mean seriously who knew there were so many types?!? Scattered on the rest of the grounds are all sorts of plants. Fruit bushes like red currants and blueberries. Tons of succulents. What they really specialize in however are plants for terrariums, little dwarf asparagus ferns, teardrops, and scads more! Linden Hill is open everyday from 8-4, they have picnic tables too, incase you wanted to picnic, you can even throw your scraps to the chickens! However, our next plan is as follows....late breakfast at Vera's, garden shopping and antiquing, early dinner at the bookstore speakeasy.

Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. Then to top it all off they gave us a handout that covered trimming, drying and pairing herbs as well as a few recipes! A wonderful experience! Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special!

We had yoga pants and sneakers on, but we didn't look sloppy. We agreed, they made us feel out of place. Second, the prices were not your basic "thrift" prices, they were higher. Some items were priced so high and they weren't anything great- basic made in China items. A lot of garage sale merchandise. Third, too much of the same stuff- dishes, glasses, clothing. Fourth, you immediately get the feeling that you are in an antique mall, except everything is newly made. If by chance there is an older item, it is so overly priced, it's ridiculous! If you're passing by Good Stuff "Thrift" (and I use the word thrift lightly) it may be worth it to you to stop in, but if you have to travel to get there, stay home!
