I was having a hot water heater installed by a friend of mine at home. We were missing one male adapter. So I went to Lowe's myself to get it. When I got there it seemed like nobody was around to help. I found two employees and have the peace in my hand and showed them what I needed. I asked both of them if they could help me find it and all they did was look at it and tell me what aisle to try. And both work completely wrong. Then on a hunch I went back to the Appliance section. I still was unable to find the piece I needed. Then I found a gentleman working back there and asked him for help and he finally walked me back to the right section showed me what I needed. He even opened the packaging to make sure that it fit. Now these other people that I asked in the beginning were busy talking to other employees and didn't want to be bothered helping me. I usually don't write reviews but I felt the need to do so because this one was such a bad trip. I don't understand why people work there and don't seem to give a damn about helping you? And this is not the first time. I go to Lowe's because it's closer to my house but it seems to me like Home Depot is worth the trip and driving a little farther. Customer service is everything! Yesterday, I walked into Lowe's (Welsh Rd) looking for a specific item but couldn't find it. I asked one employee if he could help but he was unsure what I needed. However he found someone there who could, Penny. Penny knew what I was talking about and WALKED me to it and even made other helpful suggestions pertaining to my DIY project. First of all, they sent a handyman to install the garage door opener and he installed the garage door opener and he left in my garage door hasn't been able to open for at least a week they had to send someone else out to open the door and it took him six hours before he could get the door open on top of that the handyman that they sent out the first time extorted $40 from my senior citizen mother who is 90 years old and that's not the only thing that happened with the purchases we made that day as of now I had to cancel the Door installation because it's been over a month and they haven't produced the product yesterday's a lot seven I returned the order for the security door and will take my chances elsewhere very disappointed in Lowe's read more

I go to this Lowe's often. Usually to get something off the shelf like light blubs, extension cords or at most a new light for my bathroom. I have never shopped here for appliances. My dishwasher went out and I decided to see if I could find one here. The salesman that helped us was John. He was so nice and personable. Never pressuring us to buy anything. We ended up buying a refrigerator too! John made the buying experience pleasurable. Lowe's still has a shortage of employees for each section of the store, but had to say how pleased I was with my vist here, because of John. FYI: Lowe's charges a $40 fee to haul away a old appliance and a fee to install a appliance. It depends on the appliance, but it's a little over $130. It will take about a week (unfortunately) to get my dishwasher. With employees like John, Lowe's would have a much higher rating. read more

This location has been a "go-to" staple for my family ever since it opened years ago! Most recently, they were a big help for me when I needed a "shepherd's hook" plant hanger for a basket of flowers in the garden. Found it in less than a minute, was through the line of several customers in a few minutes. The clerks treated me well and I appreciated the low price and availability of what I was looking for. We opened a Lowe's card because we often shopped here for home and gardening items, and bought a $498 Christmas tree and got 20% off for opening the card. We got the tree home, never opened it, and realized it would be too big for the room. We took the tree back to return it for the same tree just the "slim" version and they refused to give us 20% off the new tree, we all know how these things go and there is always a way to take 20% off they just didn't want to. We returned the tree altogether, closed the Lowe's card, and went to Home Depot and bought a gorgeous tree the right size and saved $120. All that was accomplished is they lost that sale and a customer, we'd much rather spend our money at Home Depot from now on. I ordered an in-stock Weber grill online on 9/27/2022 with free assembly for my Dad's birthday present. On 10/4/2022 the grill still wasn't ready for pickup. I tried calling the store multiple times over that time period to try to speak to an associate to find out what was going on, but no one picks up the phone. The phone just rings indefinitely. I ordered a Weber Genesis II Gas Grill online in early June as a Father's Day gift for my dad. It was originally supposed to be delivered 3 days later assembled. It's been 1.5 months, and they still have not received the grill. On 7/1, they confirmed the product was in the store and would be assembled and ready for delivery the next week. It was not. Last week, they confirmed the grilled was assembled and ready for delivery in a few days. It was delayed a week again. This morning I got an order update saying the grill was delayed again until next week. The times I've called the store I've spoken to multiple associates and none of them were able to get a manager to speak to me. On one occasion, I was told a manager would call me back in 24 hours. I got a callback, but it wasn't a manager and that was when they confirmed the grill was ready to be delivered but delayed again. Calls to the main customer service line have 30 minutes to 1 hour wait times. I've been given one 10% discount so far and they denied a second discount. I've chatted with an online customer service agent. They are unable to provide discounts. They offered to send a different cheaper grill but didn't provide any other options. I'm just out of luck or options at this point until they decide to do anything about it. My parents are still waiting for the grill, and I'm still calling every week after each delay to get answers. The reason I didn't cancel the order is that my parents are senior citizens, and I don't want them to have to assemble a grill since my dad is also handicapped. I didn't see any other company in their area offer assembled grill delivery. Perhaps you can file this under deceptive business practices. Any lawyers reading this? This place gets 4 stars, simply because of Tanya in Flooring. It's a long story of back and forth with this store... Many phone calls where they just hung up on me, multiple visits to the store - sometimes with my 2 toddlers (NOT fun) - to simply check on my order status. When Tanya wasn't there, the department was simply inept and anyone I asked for help from was extremely rude and couldn't be bothered. I was on my last visit to the store, to try just one more time. If I couldn't leave with what I needed, I was prepared to go elsewhere. But Tanya saved the day. She is very thorough, and cared about me and my situation as a customer. She was on 2 phone calls at once trying to get me answers, and she made it work. (She's also extremely pleasant to talk with, because I was there with her for a pretty long time, but we wound up laughing and even dancing for joy at one point because we finally made a breakthrough.) She saved your a$$ Lowe's of Willow Grove!!! You really should give her the $3,700 that I paid, because if it weren't for her, you certainly wouldn't have it. read more

They do not know how to measure and order doors. Understand now days you have to wait 2-3 months to get bifold doors orders and installed same with doors. They show up and they are to small. The manager is not available to listen or help. They are understaffed and tell you this after the fact. Do them a favor go somewhere else. read more

I needed to purchase a wash machine and went to my closest Lowes and selected a machine to be delivered for free. Well they told me about the 4 hour delivery window and I received a call the day before with a delivery window between 2-6pm. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate the delivery schedule and I decided to call at 5pm because I have not received any response messages from the delivery person. Here they arrived and took a picture of my door at 1:20pm. Left no note or message. The company said that they could not deliver my equipment because it was returned to the store. My husband went to the store to pick it up surprise it's not there. It's still on the truck that still has time to deliver within the stated time frame but nope can't be achieved. The other window is still not correct after multiple installers were at our home, we changed work schedules and still no window. Emailed the salesman. No response. The worst managed Lowes I've ever wasted time at. 1st- ordered curbside pick up that took so long to come out, i decided to call and inquire about the delay. I was told "we are short staffed, you have to wait". I asked about how long as i live close by and can come back another day, the employee hung the phone up. Ieft without receiving the items. I then received an email thanking me for the purchase i never received. Scam much? More of my time disputing the charges. 2nd- i ordered 4 doors in house (don't trust the curb side delivery anymore). They delivered the wrong doors. I had to go to the store 3 different times to correct their error. The came back out and still the delivery/exchange was wrong. A 4th trip up to the store (speaking to a manger) to have my card credited...they can keep the door. 3rd- spent much time on calls, emails and surveys about my horrible experiences at this Lowes, not one follow up call from a manager. 4th- I spent over 4K at this Lowes recently due to construction and repairs; but no more. I'm sticking with Home Depot for a while until they can hit competent credible employees who gives a darn about customer service and recovery AWFUL STORE, LONG LINES AND NO ONE SEEMS TO REALLY KNOW THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. I've never had installations done from this store so my review is based on my experience of purchasing smaller items and the friendliness of the staff. I've gone to this store multiple times for garden items, and other necessities for around the home even though there are closer stores for home improvement and hardware around. The garden center has a ton of veggies, flowers, and trees. I have purchased many flowers and soil from this store. And I'm still enjoying them to this day! One thing is to be careful in the parking lot, parking is kind of insane here! People walk around with no mind for the cars. So back out slow and don't even attempt to drive over 5mph around here! The reason I keep coming back is the selection and the friendly customer service, but the staff is not as knowledge as I would like. After a little research on my phone, I'm always happy to find what I was looking for with a good amount of options or variations of one product. read more

We go inside, they tell us they do NOT install outdoor shutters. Just a hassle to drive 20 minutes and be told false information. Every other week I get a notification of a delivery date and window, but it doesn't come. Attempts to cancel the order by both email and call to customer service are unsuccessful. When I call the store directly (where the grill is coming from) no one answers the phone. Evidently when a delivery ticket has been issued-and I guess they can promise delivery next year if the want-my order can't be cancelled. Worst lowes ever! If you are buying windows stay away. I'm in the process of replacing my windows. I have 12 windows to replace. I'm replacing them in stages. I went to their mill work department to order 2 windows because they were 15% off. I had to order more expensive windows because I want custom sizes. One window was a normal size and the other was a really small window. When I went to pick them up, lowes had ordered me 2 of the same size windows. I was told to take the windows back to mill work to sort it out. After about 30 minutes of them trying to figure out what happened, lowes said they would reorder the small window and honor the sales. I had something else to do and had to leave before ordering the window. I returned the next day to pick my 1 correct window and reorder the other. When trying to order the new window, the employee could not find my type of window in the computer system. He kept telling me that I bought the most expensive windows which I didn't. He could order it for me because of a computer problem. He took the sizes down for the window and said he would fax in the order and call the next day to take my credit card info over the phone. I left with my one window. I didn't receive a phone the next day. The second day, I called lowes at noon and was told they didn't order it yet but they would call me the next day just to verify the sizes and options so they match the other window. They called the next day to tell me that the windows series I ordered was discontinued by the manufacturer. They would order me a window in the next series up. I was beyond angry. They sold me windows that were being discontinued at the end of the month. I have 14 windows to replace. Now, if I wanted to match 1 window I received, I would have to buy the most expensive window they sold. So, my $470 window would now cost over $900. This is the worst store for customer service. Had I known they were discontinuing the series, I would have left without ordering any windows. Instead, I had to keep returning to the store only to be frustrated. What a waste of time and money though all the gas I had to burn returning back to the store multiple times. I returned the window and will never do business with this store again. I have been waiting to get a door installed from Lowes for about 2 and a half months after I first went in. The door was backordered for a good portion of the time, but the remainder has been waiting for first, someone to measure my door (took over 2 and a half weeks and multiple phone calls) and now almost a month after the door came in to get it installed, and I still do not have an install date. I have called multiple times and sent multiple emails to customer care. Nobody in their organization is able to get the issue taken care of and waiting 72 hours for a return email or sitting on hold for over 20 minutes is infuriating. They seem to use a single subcontractor in the area who never calls back. Don't waste your time with them and their awful customer service. read more

They need more staff on the floor or something. Some of the aisles are messes. For instance the couplings in the plumbing aisle are not organized. 3/4 couplings are in 1/2 coupling boxes or the shape is wrong. A lot of product is 12 feet up on the racks and the space for the products available to customers is completely empty. This is my 3rd time back in 2 months and the disorganization hasn't changed. 2nd time the pipe was empty and I had to get assistance, which is a big deal. Aisle is shutdownfor lift etc. This time employee told me they were all out of the product I need. I was about to leave and I used the zoom on my camera to photo the code on the product 12 feet up. He was wrong. Not sure if this was intentional or what. Ended up taking an hour to get a few sections of pipe and a couple couplings. Try stocking in the morning before you open!!! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Where to begin. Not helpful at all, very rude ppl. They screw up my delivery's quite often in turn cost me time and slows down my jobs. I recommend Hatfield lowes ask for Bob or Pat at the pro desk. They go above and beyond for the customers. When something goes wrong like a delivery that does not have what we need they have personally drove it out to the job for us that day. Willow grove will do nothing but the bare minimum. read more
