Drove to this store 7/6 to purchase a sale item that was out of stock at my local store. My local store checked their system and confirmed the Lynwood store had the item for sale that I was trying to purchase. However, when I got there they wouldn't honor the sale price, which was published on the harbor freight add and which was set to expire 7/6/25. I asked to speak to a manager and was told a manager was not available and that I was already speaking to the supervisor in charge. He was very rude and continued to state he can not honor the sale price and it was only available at the regular price and that the other store had provided incorrect information. When I tried showing him the add, he was making sarcastic comments with the cashier and laughed in a burlesque manner. Overall zero customer service and not honoring a published sale. I would have understood if he had offered an explanation such as each store is separate and don't observe sales. However this was not the case and instead the staff there was disrespectful and making a mockery of the situation. Very bad experience which doesn't align with the usual great customer service experience at other harbor freight stores. read more

I placed my items On The Cashier Counter Cashier The Customer Service Representative Kevin Looks Me In The Eyes Then Grabs His Crotch/ Genitals Area Then Picks Up My Items And Scans The Items. I Paid For My Items Via Debit Card. I Went Outside Placed My Items In My Vehicle. Went Back Into Harbor Freight To Purchase Additional Items. After I Located Those items For Purchase, I Stood Back In Line, There Where A Couple Of Customers Ahead Of Me. Another Harbor Freight Employee Came To Assist Kevin At The Cashier Counter.The Other Harbor Freight Employee I Don't Know His Name He Didn't Have A Work Badge On He Assisted The Customer In Front Of Me With There Checkout. As I Preceded To Kevin's Cashier Counter To Pay For The Additional Items He Abruptly Removed His Self The Cashier Counter Then Stated His Gone Help You Referring To The Other Cashier. read more

I applied here like 2 months ago . I went in and did the interview and even had a walk around of the whole place and in the end of the interview i was told i got the job . They told that it will take about 2 weeks for a simple background check so i did everything they ask , filled out all the paperwork. Just so in the end i can be ignored by the manager i kept in touch with management daily until they completely ignored me they made me waste my time here . He came back with all kind of great tools he needed and made note to give a shout out to Lizbeth who was his cashier and provided great, friendly and helpful service and just made the whole shopping experience there fantastic. If I could give no stars I would , this place has really bad employees and managers , it started with two girls who were on the register chit chatting while I entered I asked for help and they started acting busy and sent me over to the fursest register with a line for a simple question When they clearly were not busy and they were simply choosing not to help me . I felt like I was being discriminated by those employees for my size because I could've swore one of the employees mumbled "Gorda" under their breath . I tried looking for a manager but once I found her she was belittling an employee working the register he was trying his best everyone in the line saw that , she embarrassed him infront of a few customers and those who witnessed it agreed to write a review or call corporate also don't be surprised if the internet finds out about this because my daughter will be posting about this experience on tiktok ! read more

I had purchased 7 items at the riverside location, same city I live in. A few hrs later, i was in lynwood and decided to return a box of gloves and the magnetic box holder for the gloves. I dont remember the guys name, but looked like a manager. He rang up the wrong set of gloves and holder. Since it was thenwrong set of gloves, it was a difference of $2.00. It was busy cause it was labor day and didn't pay much attention to it. I then made a seperate purchase of a 10 pack of super glue and grabbed a blue led flashlight. I handed him the 25% off labor day coupon and the coupon for the free flashlight. Mind you, it was busy and didnt pay much attention. When I got home later that night, I looked at my receipts. I was shorted $2.00 from the initial return from his mistake. Then to find out I paid full price for the super glue and he applied the 25% off for the flashlight, which was supposed to be free. I called the store and was advised I need to call back tomorrow and speak with the manager. I was told that i would have to come back to the lynwood location to resolve the issue. I live in riverside, so that's kinda of stupid. Worst experience I've had with harbor freight. read more
