I would highly suggest supporting this small local fitness as opposed to go to the big box stores if you can avoid it. Most of the employees have good knowledge if not, they usually refer to somebody in the store that does have the knowledge for the items that you need. There's no doubt I'll be going back to DICK'S TRUE Value.

Within seconds, HE KNEW the store carried the EXACT matching the original screw I'd brought with me but slightly longer.... too long unfortunately. But JOSE said "wait! I know!" and returned with a PERFECT alternative. i must praise the depth of his agility to think through the issue and knowledge and familiarity of the stock, let me not miss his grace, and enthusiasm and joy in the resulting PERFECT solution. It's always easy to find an employee to answer a question and the cashiers are friendly (they keep a nice amount of lines open. Paint department is really good and I have to give a shout out to Alondra. She mixed a custom color for me and not only was she knowledgeable and made my selection quickly, she was thorough, helped me land on the appropriate finish I needed, and was so thoughtful & friendly throughout. In the nursery those people seem so upset I feel they want you to stay away. It wasn't always like this. That was NOT the experience at this Marina Del Rey location. We came in with a real headache of an AC unit situation -- the kind where you're not even sure where to begin. Camilo, the Assistant Manager, didn't just help us. He owned the entire experience from the moment he introduced himself. Knowledgeable, composed, solution-focused, and genuinely warm -- he walked us through everything step by step until every concern was fully resolved. No attitude. No brush-off. No "let me find someone else to help you." Just one incredibly capable person who clearly takes pride in what he does and the customers he serves. This location is clean, well-stocked, and the team reflects good leadership. But Camilo is the reason I'm on Yelp right now typing this out. He deserves to be recognized far beyond this store. While they did replace the refrigerator, they refused to take any responsibility for the food loss caused by their defective appliance. I understand policies, but when a product failure directly impacts a customer, there should be some level of accountability or goodwill. Customer service felt dismissive, and no effort was made to help beyond the basic replacement. I expected better from a company like Lowe's.
