So I take my time selecting what I need versus what I want especially because I don't know when I will have the next chance to return. I easily spend several hundreds of dollars here buying my chisels and other carving hand tools. It's cool that the worker remembers who I am (excellent service). The owner himself takes the time to show me the various chisels that they have and you can tell just by listening to him talk the pride he has for the tools that he carries.

In addition to vegetable seeds and garden supply, there are plenty of home and kitchen tools that you'll use every day of your quarantine isolation. SERVICE Nori-San has always been very helpful with any purchases you might need to make. Now that the store attendance is limited, no doubt you'll receive even more bespoke assistance. STORE ATTENDANCE There is only one person/party allowed in the store at a time. If you're familiar with this small family-owned hardware store, you'll know that there isn't much room for too many people anyway. For precautions of health, just one at a time in the store. If you know what you need, the trip to Anzen is really quick. If you DON'T know what you need, the trip to Anzen can be really easy. I make a regular trip to get professional kitchen knives from Nori-San, and he's always very knowledgable and helpful in the decision. SILLY GIFT PURCHASE: Even if you want a simple silly, but useful kitchen gift for your friends, you will probably find something here. Purchase a KAMENOKO TAWASHI for an unsuspecting friend who doesn't know what it is, ask them to guess what it's for. PARKING Plenty of easy street parking throughout Little Tokyo. COVID PARKING UPDATE - many parking spaces have been redesignated as outdoor seating areas. Judge Also Parking Lot is the best parking lot - across the street.

Well now it's the CW again, and from the looks of it not much has changed. Still the same long walks down the hallways in relative quiet, unless you are rolling the panel truck like I was. Friendly customer service through the phone when I asked about availability/quantity of corrugated roofing panels. Then at the store the staff would help find the appropriate wood screws. Whereas in the past I remembered older folks staffing the store, now it's mostly younger guys and gals though knowledgeable all the same. Can't put my finger on it, but it does feels different from a Home Depot but in a good way.

Very few employees speak Spanish, which makes communication difficult for many customers. It is important to have staff who can assist customers in both English and Spanish. In addition, getting help from an employee takes an extremely long time. During my visit, I asked a cashier to hold an item for me while I continued shopping and planned to purchase it. Later, I discovered that the item had been sold to someone else. I found this very frustrating and unprofessional. What was even more disappointing was that the manager did not seem concerned about resolving the situation or addressing my complaint. I do not enjoy shopping here because of the poor customer service. Many of my construction employees and coworkers have shared similar experiences and have told me they avoid this store because of the service. Management and ownership should understand that customer service is just as important as pricing. If customers do not feel valued and respected, they will choose to spend their money elsewhere.

They had like 2 different lights to choose from. Home Depot has like 10 different lights. The service also was lacking. A bunch of lazy women as cashiers. I had the SKU so we looked it up online. I guess it's just me but I'd prefer them to go look with me for efficiency and customer service. My beef is with harbor freight in general. I ordered a little flat bed cart called a "folding platform truck" and all the screws and washers were already installed but the wheels weren't. I didn't have the right bolt size to even take them off. It was very tedious. I ended up going to autozone and purchasing those socket racket things. I'm all for installing my own stuff but the way it came was not cool. It wasn't even installed properly. I get that they inserted the washers and screws so it wouldn't get lost but a ziploc and tape with it wrapped around the item inside the box works just fine. Getting into Triggs can be tricky due to the freeway. Overall not sure I like the location of this HF. It looks easy enough to access but it isn't. I'll probably go to another one. I was asked if I wanted to buy a 2 year warranty on a $40 item. It was kinda annoying lol. Like you didn't want to help me get the item but you are pitching this warranty HARD. Made no sense to me.

It's super convenient since it's right up the street from where we live. The few times I've been here, it hasn't been too busy and we're usually in and out pretty quickly. The store is clean, well-organized, and the employees have always been friendly and polite. I also love the random finds you don't expect at Home Depot -- they had the cutest jellyfish lamp for $15 that my boyfriend was so close to buying me but I said I didn't need it. Always tempting us to buy more than what we came for lol. Just a heads-up: this location closes at 9pm, which is earlier than some other Home Depot locations. Overall, a solid neighborhood Home Depot.
