Place has great service and very knowledgeable staff. They always have what I need and are friendlier than home depot.

This place is great. Good survive quality parts at low prices maybe even free. The owner Rene is the best person to ask about the plumbing.

Decided I needed to explore little Tokyo. I heard from multiple people that Anzen Hardware was gem…read more They're only open on Saturday and Sunday. They share a space with a florist that is open during the week, so I got confused and thought they opened during the week. They're not. The space is not huge, but it was fun to prowl around the different sections and find hidden treasures from Japan. The owner is really good about taking time to explain what each item is and the different uses, as well as care and handling. This place is such a huge contrast to shopping at Walmart. Made me think of a small town hardware shop that is the heart of the community with people stopping by to have keys made or knives sharpened or whatever random thing they need. These kinds of places are treasures! Definitely worth a visit and definitely worth supporting. Glad I did!

So I take my time selecting what I need versus what I want especially because I don't know when I will have the next chance to return. I easily spend several hundreds of dollars here buying my chisels and other carving hand tools. It's cool that the worker remembers who I am (excellent service). The owner himself takes the time to show me the various chisels that they have and you can tell just by listening to him talk the pride he has for the tools that he carries.

After several years of coming to this location, I am updating my review based on experience. First,…read morethis Home Depot is more geared towards construction trades people versus homeowners. Customer Service is nonexistent you can never find someone to help you and when you see somebody far away, they feel the vibes and typically disappear lol The parking lot is another anxiety inducing experience. From the aggressive drivers and their huge trucks that don't respect smaller vehicles to the roadway hazards of various vendors walking around or setting up vendor carts near curbs. It's really stressful to be there. I've been cut off, cursed at, and overall really disrespectful for just merely existing and trying to patronize a retail establishment!!!! I'm actually writing this review right now after a very unpleasant experience of almost being hit, and then being flipped off for no reason unprovoked. Poor merchandising, unpredictable vehicle + customer interaction experiences, and nonexistent customer service deems this location really the worst for me to get simple household products. It's unfortunate because I live a mile away, but would prefer to drive 6 miles into Alhambra because it is much more civilized and an overall way better shopping experience than this location can produce.

We're in the market for a reasonably priced wine fridge and freezer and decided to visit Lowe's to…read moresee what was out there. Matt B. and I went on a low-key Sunday afternoon with our four-year-old Wade B., who's been monomaniacally obsessed with fans for more than half his life. The trip was mostly uneventful. Parking was easy, and the store was in good enough order. We found the freezers and refrigerators and got to look at some options, though the wine fridge selection was quite limited. I was kind of interested in the numerous Halloween decorations, but Wade decided they were too spooky, and I didn't feel like arguing. We were there in part to indulge him, after all. He was immediately fascinated by the large fan tasked with cooling the store, which was visible from the refrigerator section. Then we guided him toward lighting, and he broke into a run when he saw THE FANS! THE FANS! THE FANS! There were a lot of fans on display, about as much quantity and variety as my boy has ever seen in one place. He just about lost his goddamn mind, and I feel lucky that we managed to get him out of there without a protest tantrum. We took a family trip to Europe this summer, and my husband asked Wade whether he preferred Lowe's or Paris. Wade was in the depths of the fan aisles at that time, and answered "Lowe's" without hesitation. Matt followed up by asking if he preferred Lowe's or the Eiffel Tower, and Wade said, "Lowe's. The Eiffel Tower doesn't have fans." I haven't shopped enough at Lowe's to have a strong opinion about the place one way or another, but some would say it's better than Paris. I'd recommend it for your big box hardware store needs, and for free entertainment for fans of fans.

While they did replace the refrigerator, they refused to take any responsibility for the food loss caused by their defective appliance. I understand policies, but when a product failure directly impacts a customer, there should be some level of accountability or goodwill. Customer service felt dismissive, and no effort was made to help beyond the basic replacement. I expected better from a company like Lowe's.
