(Original cost to purchase was around $500). I have the existing tool check card (number 0102) as well as the Parts, Service, & Repair form which I signed on April 9, 2024. I have the cash register receipt showing that I purchased a tarp and paid $60 for labor in advance of the repair. The customer copy of the receipt is SKU number 155400110024008732 for a total charge of $81.19. I followed up numerous times with the location asking if/when the repair process would be completed. The response was always that the repair was not done and they would contact me when the repair was completed so I could pick up the compressor. I always had to go to the location to inquire about the status, three times. I never-ever received a follow up call from anyone at Northern Tool. Often I left a message, with a promise that they would return my call, and I never got a response. My frustration finally got to me and I drove to Buford to ask in person about my repair. To my shock and surprise the Manager (I believe the name is Jeff) told me that I had picked the item up on April 1st!! I didn't even drop it off for repair until April 9th! I ask for them to show me the signed release and payment for the repair form which they said they were unable to produce. The Northern Tool contact (Holly) I have to thank for never calling me and understanding why would I come back to get my compresser if I had picked it up....SAD! I would not recommend Northern Tool to anyone.

I would shop northern tool much more often but it is a 45 min drive to get to the nearest location to me. If you can't get it anywhere else but online and can/don't want to wait for online delivery northern tool likely has it in stock and ready for you!

I went to this store, in order to buy a piece of Mahogany that I need for a project…read more While I was there, the store was overwhelming staffed and patroned by older men who I found to be rude. The lumber section of the store is in a back corner, and isn't a very large area. While I was selecting my piece of wood, several men would just walk walk in front and around me, without saying excuse me nor being verbal at all. It was like I wasn't even there, to them. So as to not get touched or knocked over, I had to move away from the lumber twice, even though I wasn't finished making my selection, just so I wouldn't be "in the way." When I went to check out, I was standing in line, and the cashier, Don, called the gentleman who was behind me up to the register to check out. That gentleman let the cashier know that I was ahead of him and it was my turn to check out. I had actually been standing in line for a while before the customer behind me even got in line. Don then called me up- he offered no apology. As he checked me out, Don didn't ask if I had found everything ok. Didn't ask if I needed anything else. Generally unfriendly. I just generally noticed a certain theme in this store, and I don't like the vibe. Maybe some diversity, in gender and/or race, would help offset that vibe. I'm not sure, and don't really care because me nor my dollars will be returning.
