The customer service here is awful. Tried to purchase a ceiling tile for my daughter's school…read moreproject. They at first did not want to help look up the item and then tried to tell me that's only come in a case. I told them the price was marked by the tile or by pack on the shelf. Then the two people standing there at self checkout ask me to go take a picture of the price. I walked out and told them I would not be doing any more of their job for them. Just ridiculous next these stores will be wanting the customers to stock the shelves as they buy items.

There, I was greeted warmly, assisted patiently, and truly felt welcomed. Sadly, at this location, I felt overlooked and unwelcome. Because of this encounter with Matilda, I've decided to switch to Lowe's, even if their prices are higher. Home Depot, I genuinely hope you improve in the future. It was extremely busy, and the associate I spoke with told me I could pick it up on Monday after it was assembled. When Monday came and I hadn't received a call, I reached out to the store myself. That's when I was helped by Mellany at Customer Service, and I can't say enough about the outstanding service she provided. No one could locate the order because the associate from Friday had called out sick, but Mellany took ownership of the situation immediately. She arranged for someone to assemble a cabinet for me and kept me updated throughout the process. She also went above and beyond by helping me rent a cargo van so I could deliver the cabinet to my son-in-law. The associates in the rental department were just as helpful--especially Devian, who did an excellent job loading the cabinet and securing it safely in the van. Thank you to Mellany, Devian, and the entire team for turning a stressful situation into a great experience. Outstanding customer service!

Horrible experience... Purchased 3 doors with installation…read morein April from Home Depot (RF Installations installer). Install company, RF Installations, damaged doors on 1st install attempt, left the site without arranging to reinstall, didn't contact me to reschedule. I had to get HD project expediter involved to reschedule. 2nd install attempt - install company cancelled the same day as install scheduled. 3rd install attempt, doors and trim were damaged and the work crew ran over a can of great stuff spray foam which exploded and covered my driveway and landscaping with spray foam. Crew tried to use water to clean it which, of course, didn't work. They left without talking to me about it. Cured spray foam is now bonded to my driveway and is a huge mess. I have been dealing with this project since April. The issues were expedited to the Home Depot Project Support Team where I was getting good support from their expediter. I emailed him this evening about the latest fiasco and found out the entire Project Support dept no longer exists. Home Depot says call the local office. I know how that will go. No one in charge, and no one willing to take responsibility for making the contractor fix their mess. If anyone at Home Depot is reading this and would like to discuss, please respond. Home Depot is my go-to supply store. But they ruin their reputation by having third rate, mediocre contractors do the work.

We brought with us Tractor Supply Company's current sales circular advertising their identical 18" Poulan PRO, 42 cc gas engine, chain saw for the great price of $149.99 with the intent of having The Home Depot honor their Guaranteed Low Price, which states: If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any retailer, we will match the price and beat it by 10%. Just bring the ad, printout or photo with you to the register for validation. Shockingly, not only did the Customer Service representative that waited on us indicate that Home Depot did not recognize Tractor Supply Company as a competitive retailer and refuse to honor the Guaranteed Low Price, she unapologetically dismissed us without further explanation. Our understanding is that the Tractor Supply Company operates over 1,600 retail stores in 49 states and its stock is traded on the NASDAQ exchange, which would make it a competitor of both The Home Depot and Lowe's Home Centers. Sadly, we left the store extremely frustrated and highly disappointed. However, believing that Lowe's Home Center would honor their Price Match Guarantee, we went across the street and presented the same sales circular to Customer Service representative, Macy, and the store manager. They promptly honored Lowe's Home Centers' promise with a smile and sold us an 18" Poulan PRO, 42 cc gas engine, chain saw for Tractor Supply Company's sales price of $149.99. You can imagine, this experience has left us feeling very disillusioned with The Home Depot. Lowe's Home Center is our new go-to considering their integrity and amazing customer service.
