I took my yard trimmer in for advice about the string spindle not fitting right. The employees Brandon and Ralston helped us diagnose the problem without having to go to a hardware store for repairs! After spending much time on this Ralston fixed it by going a step up on size. We called Craftsman customer service and let them know they are seller the wrong part they seemed not to care. Our last time buying that brand! Having said that, we were pleased that these guys helped us get it solved because Home Depot was unable to.Memo to Lowe's management give those two a contract or raise lowe's always has great sales and selection as well at the JC location.. read more

Whenever we have a question about something somebody gonna show up for sure. We never had any issues. Got few outdoor plants and so many other stuff. Love their furniture section and Garden area. Lowes now allows pushy salespeople to roam the store disguised as employees. It's rather annoying to have to have this "no thanks" conversation over and over while I'm shopping. I was disappointed in the customer service at the Lowe's on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee, GA. I booked their 2500 PSI dual pressure washer for drive ways, which charged $26 more than their standard pressure washer for the convenience of a built-in driveway disc. The disc did a very poor job of cleaning my driveway for the extra $26, and I wound up having to redo it with the wand. When I asked to have my bill reduced to the level of the standard pressure washer, the tool rental associate said it was working fine and declined my request. Lowe's has lost my business. read more

I ordered a Pella sliding door on October 16 with the promise that it would be delivered within 28 days. When I had heard nothing for 33 days, I went online to Lowe's Check Order Status. Unexpectedly, my order could not be located, by order # or phone #. I then went to the Lowe's store and inquired at Customer Service. The order could not be found in Lowe's records either. After a few different managers investigated, I was told that the door "had been ordered" despite no record of that and that it would be delivered within a week. No guarantee or proof was offered. When I requested a refund instead, I was told that my credit card had not yet been charged. In spite of showing my receipt, I had to return home to print out my credit card purchase documentation and return to the store to be very reluctantly given a refund. My family moved to the area, and after the painstaking process of buying a house during these difficult times we settled in and then realized we needed appliances. A lot of them. We went to another major hardware store that is based here in Atlanta since it was closer to my apartment. They did not have very many offerings at that particular store. So, we mosey'd up to Lowe's off Medlock Bridge and McGinnis Ferry Road, and walked up and down the appliances showroom. I say showroom because they had so many refrigerators and washers/dryers that we got a good idea of what we wanted to get. We were greeted by Marcie, and was at that visit just browsing. When we got back she had a long, long line and we worked with Bin. We bought a total of four appliances. They delivered everything at once, through a logistics company. Unfortunately, the cabinet for the refrigerator was too small so we had to return one and ended up buying a cabinet depth one that was pricey. So far, so good. However, we had an issue with one of the doors on the fridge. It was crooked and considering that we paid $5000+ for everything, you can imagine the consternation from my family. I drove back today, and Marcie had nobody in front of her desk, it was shocking. I soon figured out why she had so many people waiting for her. She was super helpful and basically helped me coordinate swapping out a new one for the one with the crooked door. Super friendly associates, knowledgeable, and professional. That's what you want. Marcie went above and beyond today. When we were purchasing the appliances Bin was also super helpful with what we wanted. What should have been a stressful experience was nothing but easy discussions. I want to point out that whenever we had an issue, Lowe's went above and beyond to help address concerns, problems, and ultimately switch out items when needed. My parents are elderly so this is important to get it right. I commend Marcie for helping me avoid getting blamed for not getting something done properly. Look for Marcie and Bin. They will help you get what you need. UPDATE: The logistics company, Spirit Logistics, came out with a new refrigerator and was going to replace out the one with the crooked door- unfortunately, the new one was damaged. However, the delivery team that came out- Tevin, Pierre, and Princess, offered to give fixing the original one a shot. The other three teams that came out FAILED. This team came through, and aligned the doors to our satisfaction. This specific team from Spirit Logistic should be recognized for their willingness to go the extra mile, the out of the box thinking to address the issue instead of trying another refrigerator delivery. If you get something delivered, ask for this team. WORTH IT. read more

My family has been going to Lowe's for years, always used to swear by them and would scoff at going to The Home Despot, but no more... We had purchased a new house and needed a fridge for it the following week after the closing. We specifically went to this Lowe's as they had the fridge we wanted in stock despite the supply chain issues going on these days, the salesman even went in the back just to be sure he had it as the "system" is sometimes wrong and it was in fact in stock. We purchased it for $2000 and asked if they could deliver it after we closed on the house, delivery scheduled for a Thursday December 30. Never heard from them, Thursday came and went , we called the Friday after after asking what was up. They said they tried calling us but our voicemail was full, the fridge was out of stock now in the "system" and wouldn't be delivered until February according to the "system". I told them that was impossible as the salesman even checked to see it was on premises, so she looked and surprisingly it was there, they just missed it. The earliest delivery time she told me was Sunday January 2nd. At this point we were annoyed but understood it was a holiday and these are difficult times, so it is what it is. So this time they call me on Saturday confirming it will be coming the next day between 8 and noon. At 10am on Sunday they call and say it was delayed to 10am-2pm. By 3pm I decided to call Lowe's again to see what was going on, they said the truck didn't even come until 1 to get it from the store but that I should get a call from the delivery company any minute to confirm the time it will arrive. A minute later I did, and they told me they couldn't come today and the next available time would be Wednesday January 5th. In conclusion Lowe's "system" messed up and their people failed to do any due diligence to prevent it and now the company they contract to deliver their stuff messed up, so my family and I will have no fridge for a week. So I'm out $2000 for the fridge and an extra few hundred since I have to eat out for meals for a week, I would ask for some kind of refund but judging by the other reviews of this place, management is AWOL. I just wanted to spend $700 but they wouldn't let me. I'm doing a kitchen remodel and needed 50sqft of tile and 45 drawer pulls. I got the 45 drawer pulls in hardware and moved on to flooring with 40 minutes before I needed to pick up my daughter from school. I found the tile immediately, but only 2 boxes were at level to take, the rest up at the top of the shelf, requiring an associate with a ladder. A Lowe's associate was there and I asked him if he'd help. "Not my department, but I'll call someone." He used the intercom. 10 minutes later no one was there and I asked someone heading for the break room. "I'm looking for her, too. Just a minute." I never saw her again (I'm staying in one place during this entire time). I see a guy walking past and ask him. "Yes someone is coming." It's been 30 minutes now. I go and get the huge stairway ladder to get it myself and no one stops me, but think that I'd better not. At this point if I don't leave immediately, I'll be late to pick up my daughter. So I left the tiles I had, left $320 worth of drawer pulls, and left the store. Maybe next time I'll try the orange place. read more

Do not shop here. I don't care if it is convenient, I don't care if it is a flashlight. I WILL NEVER give Lowe's my business because of this store. We purchased a Stove from Lowes Dec 1st with a delivery set for Dec 16th 2019. The evening of Dec 15 we received our confirmation call and text that the stove would arrive on the 16th and were provided with a time window. To make it easier on the delivery team, my we moved the stove from the kitchen into the garage. The afternoon of the 16th(delivery day) a call was received stating the auto confirmation was an error and the stove would not be arriving that day. The associate could not provide a new date, but did say there was a backordered part waiting to come in from out of the country. After 5 more phone calls with multiple managers I requested a new stove and Lowe's covered the difference in cost to keep the sale, offered a POS loaner(literally 50 degrees off true oven temp) and told me the new one would be in 2 weeks. Well, one month later on Jan 14th the stove arrived to my home with what I can only assume was a stab by a forklift. It didn't break through the sheet metal, but the edge was buckled. The appliance manager apologized and reordered the stove but never called to confirm. We called and were given another 2 week lead time. (Side note, I work in transportation and Ohio to Georgia is a one day point). So, today is Jan 4th. Just like before, last night we received a confirmation text at 7:40pm stating delivery has been scheduled for February 4th between 5pm and 9pm. I rushed home, quickly cooked dinner and we waited...and waited. At 7:44pm I called Lowe's and after a few minutes I was able to get in touch with a human. This 'Manager' stated our deliver 'is not even on today's manifest '. So what was the confirmation text and link??? What's the point??? Why are you allowing messages to go out and not following up with your customers? Why are you holding hundreds of our hard earned cash with nothing to show but false promises? I need to share my experience here so as to warn others. We remodeled our shower in the basement and when it came time to install the shower door we went with Lowe's. This began back in January mind and was the worst decision of my purchasing life. We chose our door and scheduled and installation for 2 weeks out. The door was delayed in coming so they had to reschedule us for another week our. This is now getting into Late February. The door finally comes in but Lowe's then says it's not the right one and was missing a part. So now we had to wait longer and we're rescheduled yet again. Finally we got scheduled for an install on March 3rd. The installer calls us and says the door won't fit our shower and he's not installing it. So we then had to go back to Lowe's and they argued with us saying it was right. So we went all the way up the ladder to the district manager explaining that this is now 1 month and still no shower door. The district manager got our money refunded and ordered a door for us for free. Then scheduled us for an install for March 17th. Which was the earliest we could do it. March 17th comes, we get a call from the installer who wants to "schedule" us for an install for April. Like What?!!! After an hour conversation with the installer that we were already scheduled they then said the order in their system shows as cancelled. Once again back to Lowe's who said they had the door and that "it's not their problem.." that the installer is being difficult. Long story short. 2 months, no door, no service and Lowe's could care less. Note this went up the ladder of escalations. All the way to the region manager yet still no door. This is the absolute most terrible service I have ever experienced. My opinion. Avoid Lowe's like the plague and I am posting here because I want Lowe's to know that they have cruddy service and nobody cares there. read more

THAT APPLIANCE DEPARTMENT THOUGH... I recently visited Lowe's to look at some of their new appliances and I was quite surprised. They have totally re-designed their appliance department to include an actual showroom. Yes, the appliances are now staged in their mini kitchens and they are now carrying more high end brands like Miele and Thermador. What??? Great move because you know a Lowe's sale is always just around the corner and they are usually very generous. You will definitely find more suites, (complete appliance sets) instead of just one or two pieces of a particular brand. ***While it may be tempting or desirable to have a suite of appliances, consider this: If you purchase an unreliable brand with poor customer service, it will affect all of your appliances and not just one. However, if you purchase the best appliance regardless of brand, you will probably have a better outcome. Function before aesthetics. I really liked how they showcased their kitchen appliances and cabinets because I love having items staged so that I can get the big picture. Although I will not be purchasing their cabinets, I loved some of their special features such as the storage closet mounted on the end, (to store broom and mop), and the custom integrated look of their vent covers, very nice. Also, there is a customer service area set up right next to the kitchens and it was staffed during our visit. When I walked into this particular area, I suddenly realized why I am having such a difficult time finding the right appliances. The standard size of appliances has increased greatly over the past few years. They are just too large and look very industrial/commercial so I am actually downsizing my selection. I am just automatically attracted to the smaller units and although I love playing with the extra features on the display models, I need my appliances to be simple and functional without the added wi-fi. I don't know if I will be purchasing my appliances at Lowe's but at least I have the option. This was a helpful visit as it allowed us to narrow our options and we had an opportunity to see some of our preferred models in person. Check it out! ***I do hope that this change is a sign of good things to come for Lowe's because they were once my favorite big box store. However, over the past few years, I have been shopping with their competitor because their customer service is on point while Lowe's has seriously deteriorated. read more

I've been shopping this John's Creek store for years and keep trying to do business here but every time I come the last few times the products are not here though inventory says they are. the pick up order process is always inconvenient. The associates are nice and helpful and tell me they don't have enough people working pick up. The frustration is the inventory shows in stock and I get here and it's not. I never have this problem at the Cumming location. I've been here 40 mins and still don't have the 3 items I came for. The store is unorganized. I had placed the order for a grill and a grill cover for a Friday delivery. Firstly, the delivery truck was 3 hours late. Secondly the delivery truck associates had the grill tied to the truck railing without any covers protecting the product. Very badly taken care of. All products should be covered with covers and protective mattress etc. They did not check the product and hence after the brought it down and when they were with the product almost at the house, I checked the product, and the left side of the grill was already damaged and bent. Hence, I requested them to take the product back. I took a picture of the product and asked them to take the product back. Lowes's delivery people and truck needs to be properly equipped and taken care of the items they delivery. Very upset since I had to go to the store to get it fixed. They messed up the delivery, wasted their time and money and wasted a lot of my time, money, and energy. I had called the Lowes store and after a lot of haggling, where I provided the model number and a possible substitute. The person who was helping me said we could get the grill but could not arrange for the delivery the same day and next day. This is not my fault, and it is Lowes that is so disorganized. Lowes should be able to arrange for a delivery right away especially when it is their fault and not for 2-5 days later. How they do it is their business, since there was a need for those items which was ordered on time and was there, but the shipping company damaged the products. I requested a transfer to a manager that took forever. On speaking to a manager, she did not help to arrange the delivery for Saturday and Monday which I not agree upon. This Manager then hung up the phone on me saying she will not help. That is very wrong to hung up the phone. Since Lowes online and Lowes I came in the to the store. Lowes at Johns Creek and requested a manager, met with Kristen, I explained the situation and told her that a manager (could be her which she did not say) hung up the phone on me on my call. She arranged for the refund of the delivery charge, thanks for that, but I then took a closed package box of the grill, since I did not trust getting an open grill product. All this wasted a lot of my time and hence requested a refund of $200.00 on my entire purchase due to the bad handling of the situation and the dissatisfaction on how this was handling. Bad product quality handling and rudeness of managers. Even their online customer service offered me $50 gift card for all the issues and is ridiculous. I rejected it for my demand was $200 for all the trouble and wasting of 6 hours of my time and that too on a holiday weekend. read more

Stopped in for a quote on cabinetry because I have had good service previously at this Lowe's. I had worked with someone named Kathy S. in the past who was very helpful and was returning to work with her again. Disappointed to find she had been transferred, and even more disappointed in her replacement. I don't want to use any names The "consultant" was condescending and criticized the selections from the previous visit. Several times questioned my ability to measure. Interrupted our discussion several times to answer his cell phone, and later became fixated on measurements that had nothing to do with the cabinets. At every opportunity he tried to upsell (awkwardly), and was downplaying the idea of DIY. I understand both tactics from a revenue standpoint, but that really needs to be weighed carefully when a customer is looking to spend $10,000+. The attitude and pressure to upsell the extra $500 was enough to leave in the middle of the "consultation" to look elsewhere. On a separate visit, I asked representative in plumbing a simple question while pointing to the specific washer on the piece I brought in and the guy made an extra effort to try and make me feel like a moron saying, "you mean the washer" (which was one of 3 different sized washers on the piece). He seemed put out by my bothering him with a trivial question. No problem. Won't ever buy anything plumbing related from Lowes again. People don't want to be treated this way. I would want to know if my employees were not treating customers with respect before our financials showed that issues were present. I don't think this is representative of all Lowes, but in this situation, it is unfortunate these bad apples lost a lot of revenue for their company. Insanity at it's finest. We ordered a refrigerator for delivery. It was scheduled to be delivered on the 2nd of June. Apparently when Lowe's is delivering appliances they 'pull a ticket' and it sometimes appears as a second charge and subsequently shows up as a possible fraud for your credit card. This happened 2 days before the delivery of our fridge and we didn't know about it until an hour after they were supposed to show up, 8pm at night. I called after it didn't arrive to learn it had been cancelled. Oh yes this is a frequent problem they told me.... I guess they don't care to correct it. I've got food sitting in a cooler that was waiting on a fridge that now I'm supposed to wait another few days to get the delivery. Home Depot here I come!!! If you know there's a problem and as a business you decide you're not losing enough business to address it.... well they've lost all my future business. read more

Thank You Grant! I was searching for a piece of window Glass, tried ACE on McGinnis Ferry (out of business) tried Home Depot and was told they didn't cut glass anymore so I tried the Lowe's. I asked a gentleman by Hardware for assistance and he was most courteous and eager to assist me get exactly what I needed. He even carefully wrapped the piece of glass up to protect it from damage and my cutting myself. I caught his name on his apron and Grant, I'd like to once again Thank You for your assistance and courtesy and Because of my experience at Lowe's on Peachtree Pky, Suwanee, I will make that store my "Go To" Store for all my Home Improvement supplies from now on! read more

I wish I could give this store a 0 star. Tried to order appliances, $11k worth of appliances. When we put the order in all the appliances were in. Lowes made us pay $105 for someone to measure, we were replacing with comparable just different color. The measurer lost the cooktop measurements. By the time we worked out all the problems the time lapsed was Labor Day to November. So the cooktop is now not going to be in until November 2023!! While Lowes sits on my $11k. Belinda is horrible and will not return calls nor call other stores to find the cooktop. Brad the manager has no clue what his employees are doing! After begging for my full refund we finally got most of it back, still waiting for $500. That they will call me tonight to process it.
