Beautiful store, merchandise, and display, however, there is little, if any, contact from the store employees to their customers. No one greets you or checks up on you while shopping. Good luck finding an employee if you have a question about an item. Also, customers and prospective customers will never, ever get anyone to answer the phone there. This is so bizarre. Phone customers do not seem to matter to them either. Strong store management properly trains employees that customer service matters. Greeting a customer within one minute upon entering your store and not letting the phone ring past 3 or 4 times is extremely important. Apparently, they do not know any better. One of my favorite local shops to buy gifts for friends and family! They have a ton of curated home items and many artisan goods from local small businesses. The vibe is very cozy bohemian, with a dash of farmhouse. They even have special sections for pets and babies, and also a dedicated section for weddings/newlyweds and all of the events that come with an engagement/wedding. Their jewelry selection is also fantastic as well, and come Fall, if you're looking for something to represent your favorite football team, look no further! I know I can always find something here if I need a last minute gift, but I also just love to come in and peruse the store to see what new items they have. They usually decorate the storefront beautifully based on the season or upcoming holiday. The only complaint I have is that they light a ton of candles in their store all day, and I am very sensitive to fragrance so I sometimes end up with a slight headache after shopping around. read more

Worst customer service ever. Had the store wrap a Christmas present for my wife, when they wrapped they chipped the item. On Christmas Day my wife opened the gift noticed the chip. When bringing the item back into the store the store took our item acknowledged it was likely done when they wrapped the item, but refused to do anything with replacing or giving credit for the item. We often enjoy shopping small businesses and have shopped here in the past. But we do expect better customer service than what we received today. Went to Gibson down the road to purchase the same item which was also $3 cheaper. read more

I went in to find a Mother's Day gift with my boyfriend and friends. We were looking around and enjoying our time. When it came to the back of the store, my boyfriend saw a few necklaces that were pretty cool and wanted to look at them. When he walked over he noticed they were pretty tangled and his ocd kicked in and wanted to untangle them also trying to be nice. The women walked by and was staring at him. She then asked if he was looking to buy one, he replied "no, I just was trying to untangle because it was bothering me" and then she stood there quietly and just kept watching him. Then walked to the other working and they started talking about him. My boyfriend heard and started to walk to me as he was walking over they started walking back to the necklaces and started counting them. As they were walking by us, the one working said "that's the one on the left" "there is two here and the other two are over there" referring to my boyfriend and I, and our two friends. They kept following us for the rest of the time we were in there and they kept talking and the other woman started recording us for the rest of the time. It was really upsetting and pathetic that we had to experience that while doing nothing wrong. read more

My wife went inside the store and her experience was not pleasant. She said the store was nice, home decor, candles, Knick knacks. However the issue was that there was a woman who worked in the store (long hair, was wearing bell bottoms) who followed her around the entire store essentially tracking her. She felt uncomfortable so she left and the woman followed her to the door. Made for a poor experience when she would have purchased items there. read more

I attended a Breast Cancer Walk Benefit for a friend here yesterday evening. I cannot express how much I enjoyed myself. Let me preface this review by saying I do not have an artistic bone in my body. Even my stick figures look terrible. So to say that I was intimidated by this process would be an understatement. However, Trish and Tracy are right their by your side to guide you through the process and make even a clod like me look like a true artist. There were seven of us in our group. They were able to seamlessly guide all of us so that our projects came out amazingly and unlike some other places I have been, each piece is as unique and diverse as the person who created it. You can choose your piece(s) in advance and pay for them online so that everything is setup for your arrival. While they do take walk-ins, their availability is dependent on how many appointments they have booked so I would suggest booking in advance. They also sell many unique items in the story from hand done pottery to custom pillows and photography services. Finally, for the cream on the cake, they do lots of fund raising work with the community. So, each night after they close, you can schedule to have your fundraiser at their facility and 50% of the proceeds go to your cause. What could be better? Truly a great experience and I now have a keepsake that will always remind me of my friend's benefit. read more

I am truly disturbed and upset from my experience with this store. When I first heard about this store from my mom I was truly excited to go as the candles and other products she had were amazing in smell and quality. We went into the location and spent roughly $200. My mom brought in already purchased candle with her so I can order the same scent, as the name was not on the candle. You can see from the video we walked in with that candle! Trish decided to call my mom a woman who has never committed a crime a day in her life and accuse her of stealing! I hear about racial profiling and I have never had to deal with it until now, I am disgusted! We work for our money and decided to spend our money with your company and your response it to treat us like criminals. If you do not want people of color in your store than you should have a sign or express this! I am upset that we had to go through this type of discrimination! Also there needs to be some type of training provided to your employees to not assume every black person is coming to steal! read more

I've been to DIY studios before but normally paint on canvas. I was lucky enough to win a contest and get to try this new shop. Pine and Pigment knocked my expectation for this kind of place out of the park. It puts those other experiences to shame. Here everyone makes their own UNIQUE piece. From the moment you walk in the ambience of the store is just so inviting. At the front of the store they offer things to see by local artisans which is an amazing way to support the local economy. On the other walls they're examples of signs you could make. They also have planters boxes, tray tables, beer stand openers etc..... Trish and Tracey are the owners and absolutely phenomenal women and instructors. They were so good helping all of us first timers and patient. They seriously are both lovely.
