The help are a-holes, you're better of going to Graingers. I brought a heat limit switch in that was all corroded. I asked for 3 to replace the old ones. The help at the counter tested it said it had continuity. I asked again, can I get 3 replacements? He said he'd need the part#, I said " it's on the side" he said "it's not" this is the second time in a year this same counter helper has given me some bad attitude, I guess he thinks he's got a AB in diodes. I think he's just an A-hole running off customers. I spoke with a guy named Mark, he said he's the manager. Same thing with this guy he told me if I kept cussing he was going to hang up. I told him I'll go to Grainger from now on. Total A-holes there. Better just go somewhere with good help. read more

I was upset when I called and the price of the drier belt I needed was $31.25, when there were similar belts available on Amazon for around $14. However, I really needed to get this repair closed up because I didn't want the drier all apart for several days while I waited for the much cheaper alternative. Begrudgingly I went to Fox Appliance Parts in Jacksonville, FL to purchase the "overpriced" replacement belt. HOWEVER, what I actually got at Fox Appliance Parts was a GENUINE, MADE IN USA, Whirlpool factory certified part which will outlast the cheaper alternative by at least 7 years, maybe 10 years! This was a GOOD purchase and I'm totally satisfied! Outstanding and knowledgable counter people. This drier repair will probably outlast me! read more

These guys are awesome! Our dryer stopped working right before Thanksgiving and I knew we wouldn't be able to get a repairman to come out until the next week at the earliest. I had done enough work in the past to be dangerous. So I ordered the heating element off the Fox website then went to pick it up. As I was checking out, and having a nice conversation with the three employees, I mentioned to Mark what was going on. He suggested I test the thermostats also (reminding me there are two) because those are often the culprit instead of the heating element. He explained how to test for continuity with a multimeter to determine which part was bad. I bought the thermostat set just in case. When I arrived home, I took the dryer apart, then tested the thermostats (which showed continuity), and the heating element (which did not). I knew for sure it was the heating element thanks to Mark's tips, and was able to replace the heating element. Since I did not install the thermostats I was able to return them. Job complete and clothes are dry! read more

I'm so glad there is a still place that has parts for both my Kenmore washer and Maytag dryer near by. After all the major store closings that carried parts, I lucked out in getting a place that not only had parts available and on hand, but to also have knowledgeable technicians working there that had some experience of the problems that I was facing doing a DIY fix. Thanks to all the employees there in Lake City, GA. that gave me some insight to diagnose my issues with both washer and dryer and having the parts on-hand. I called ahead that I was on the way and tried to tell them what I needed to save time. The rep on the phone was rude and hung up on me. When I got there it was 6 min to close and they already had the door locked and I tried to see if they would help and just yelled "closed". You definitely just lost a customer that used to bring you continued business. read more

I called Monday morning because a terminal block had burned up on the family stove Saturday. The parts specialist initially reported that the part was on back order. But he took time to cross-reference, found the equivalent part under another brand name, and put it on hold for me. I got the part out the door in 15 minutes and got the stove fixed same day. My parents' fridge broke while I was on vacation back home in the suburbs of ATL, so I came to Fox with my dad to find parts for our crappy fridge. We visited a couple times - the first, staff was friendly and helpful in helping my dad, whose English isn't so great (but he tries!). The second, dad brought in a compressor (something like that) that he wasn't sure was broken, and was possibly going to buy a replacement. The helpful employee actually tested the part for him and told us it wasn't broken, thus saving us money on what would not have been the solution to our crappy fridge problem. I found out about this Fox Appliance Parts when I had an appliance repairman to my home to fix my dishwasher, long before I looked up reviews. Glad I wrote down the name because it has come in quite handy. I own some rentals so when some little thing goes wrong I have discovered that I sometimes can fix it myself. About a month ago, the start/stop button on my drying machine cracked making it impossible to turn on without breaking out the pliers. Thanks to Fox Appliance all I have to do is call, give them the make model and they can either ship me the part for a small fee or I can pick it up. Presto!! Next time, I bought a new rental and the refrigerator was missing a shelf, and Fox Appliance Part saves the day again. Great find!! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. As I walk through the front door when they opened, a guy greeted me with a head to to stare, as if I did not belong. I walk to the counter and ask the man to help me find a part for my furnace. He starts to question me as if to discredit my ability to diagnose my issue I was having. He said he needed a part number to find my part, which I provided him. Then without even trying to look for it, he says he could not find it with the part number and that he had to have the part in front of him. I said I don't have it and he said he couldn't help. Thank goodness for Amazon. Will never consider using this terrible business again. read more

Very knowledgeable and professional, great service! I've called to order parts a few times - they know exactly what I want and get it to me next day. Most recently, I took a "broken" ice maker to the Doraville shop hoping to get a new one or a replacement part. I handed it to Bob, he fiddled with it for a minute and then handed it back to me. They have lots of parts, but every time I visit, they need to special order my part. The counter staff is uniformly condescending, borderline rude, and dismissive. One of the workers actually rolled his eyes at me. If there were better same-day alternatives, I would go elsewhere. If you can wait on a part ordered online, that is a more satisfying route. read more

I had never been to this location, so I understand there are some instances when service and employees are inadequate, but this instance was an example of poor customer service that I had never received anywhere. I had called this store 15 minutes until close. I was asking for a specific product, a product that I've been hunting for without luck until Fox Appliances. I knew I was only 5 miles away from the location so I asked the attendant on the phone if I were to arrive a few minutes after close, could I still receive service. The employee guaranteed that if I were to arrive while employees were still present inside the facility I would be assisted. I arrived 3 minutes after close. Another customer was walking in the door as I approached. The clerk behind the counter instructed the customer to lock the door behind him, denying me admittance. I tried to implore to the employee to speak with me since I had only minutes before been promised service. The attendant refused to speak with me. He refused to answer the phone when I signaled to him. I've never had such contradictory service. read more
