Yes, you bunch of incompetent ding dongs. I did. They took my deposit, now they have my turntable, and I can't get it unless I pay for the parts and repair. A ripoff spot. What a group of ding dongs. Do NOT bring your business to this place. Three and a half years just to get a part in for a well-known and popular turntable. And in this time, NO calls, responses, emails, texts, no information whatsoever only to have them call with this complete and utter garbage. I am in the audio feild and make sure to go out of my way to steer people clear of this place.

My overall experience at Express Electronics dropped from a solid 5 stars down to 3 stars, but I…read moredecided to give them the benefit of the doubt and be fair since they could have been complete asshats, but they actually delivered on their promise of complete customer satisfaction despite the condescending attitude and snarky remarks. The location is a little sketchy and the lot looks dingy, and they share it with a local car mechanic shop I believe. There's limited parking available that's specifically designated to them once you pull in and drive to the right. This is a small locally owned used electronics store, and I was initially impressed by their selection of smart phones in good-excellent condition. They also sell laptops, tablets, Bluetooth speakers, and phone accessories I saw from the quick gander I had while waiting for them to prepare our purchases. They have ads on Craigslist, and if you mention their ad then you can receive 5% off of your purchase if you pay in cash, but to be frank I would have the ad readily pulled up on your phone or something for safe measures because it seems like these guys can either be really nice or rude af depending on the day I guess, lol. On our initial visit John and I picked up a couple of pixel 2xl's because they were decently priced, and the phones were in fairly good conditions. Before we left, our phones were cleaned off, and we were given whatever accessories that came with our phones. After we started using the phones at home we just realized that the conditions of the phones didn't meet our standards as far as the phones' lifespans would go. I tend to have bad luck with used/refurbished electronics, so I really don't hold any of this against them. Well... What had happened was... When I plugged my phone in before going to bed that night I made sure my phone was charging, but oddly enough when I woke up the next morning my phone was at 8%... Weird. John had to fiddle with it in order for it to actually charge again. Not something I really want to deal with if I plan on keeping the phone for a while. John also had some issues with the power/lock button on his phone, and that may be a quirky issue to many, but we tend to be slightly pickier when it comes to small details like that because I personally know how much it sucks to not be able to lock your phone after a few months of usage. We contacted them shortly after realizing my phone didn't charge to let them know about the issues in hopes we could just get a refund for the phones since they didn't have any other pixels available. Initially, I thought they were going to be really cool about it because they asked us to bring the phones in for them to check them out, and they were so cool during our visit the day before, but I guess it's a different story when people are trying to take your money lol. Two out of three of the guys didn't even bother to acknowledge us when we got there, and the one who did was being extremely condescending while we were explaining legitimate reasons why we were asking for refunds. I'm just not really one to spend that much money and not be satisfied. After bearing through a grueling and condescending conversation with someone who thought we were both idiots, we were granted our refunds. Although I didn't enjoy the tone we received, things could have gone worse, but at least they were nice enough to accommodate us. TLDR: *locally owned used electronics and mobile accessories store. *5% discount when mentioning Craigslist ad and cash payments *decently priced smart phones (check Craiglist) *2 week return policy with 20% restocking fee *1 week trade in policy if you want to trade in for another phone *limited parking

I brought a vintage (40 year old) Micro-Seiki turntable that would not rotate at 33rpm. I also asked that he replace the ground and patch cords. I can buy a new turntable for that price! Prearranged to pick it up today, but he was on his way out despite our arrangements. Charged me $75.00 to look at it. He could have at least soldered on the new cable for that $75.00, but insisted on payment in full although nothing was done. He ONLY accepts cash! I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this repair shop…read more The first time I went in for a battery replacement, I was told to come back in a couple of hours. When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking to see the repair done in front of you if you decide to come here.
