I really enjoyed working with these people when building our house in Alpharetta. They were easy to work with and very fair on price.

It uses a new process that leaves the wood more of a pale yellow instead of the greenish tint from traditional pressure treated lumber.

I'm writing this review to warn others before doing business with Liberty Door Repair…read more I scheduled an estimate for a commercial door repair. The technician showed up on time and quoted us $330. I told him we had other estimates scheduled with other companies and that I'd follow up. A few days later, I called back to approve their estimate and move forward. At that time, I was told the price had suddenly increased to $500, supposedly because they needed to bring in some kind of "expert" for the job. Although the last-minute price change felt suspicious -- especially since they may have assumed the other quotes we received were higher -- I still agreed. They said it would be a two-hour job, and we scheduled the service. When they arrived, the same technician came back -- not with an expert, but with someone to assist with a ladder. The entire repair took no more than 15 minutes. I was clearly upset about being misled on both price and job scope, but I kept my professionalism and decided not to say anything. Things quickly went downhill when it was time to make payment. Instead of sending a proper invoice -- like most businesses do -- the technician demanded that we write our credit card information down on a piece of paper so it could be charged later at their office. This outdated and insecure payment method raised serious red flags. I told the technician that the business owner (I'm the Practice Manager at a medical facility) would need to receive the invoice via email and that she would pay it immediately. The technician became angry and hostile, insisting that they don't send invoices, and then proceeded to call me a crook -- in front of my team and clients -- simply because we weren't willing to hand over unsecured credit card info. I found this accusation highly offensive. I run a multi-million dollar business. The idea that we would risk our reputation over a $500 bill is not only insulting but completely absurd. To resolve the issue, I called their office directly. The person who answered said that they do in fact send invoices by email -- contradicting what the technician claimed. I requested to speak to the owner. He called me back, but instead of apologizing or trying to understand the situation, he was even more rude and dismissive than the technician. It became clear that this type of unprofessional behavior comes from the top down. To add insult to injury, Liberty Door Repair didn't send the invoice until two days later, even though they had been so demanding about immediate payment. Once we received it, we paid it promptly, as we had always intended. Here's what you should know about Liberty Door Repair before hiring them: They change their prices after the initial estimate with no valid explanation. They overcharge for simple jobs (15-minute repair quoted as a 2-hour job). They use insecure, outdated payment methods and pressure clients to provide sensitive information. They accuse clients of dishonesty without reason or evidence. Their customer service -- including from ownership -- is unprofessional, disrespectful, and combative. I truly regret doing business with them. There are many contractors and door repair companies out there who value their clients, respect modern business practices, and treat people with decency. Liberty Door Repair is not one of them. Save yourself the stress and take your business elsewhere.

I assumed there was no way I could find anyone to show up until Monday at the earliest. But to my rescue, came Liberty Door repair. Arrived in an hour, did an amazing job on a tough repair, and for a fair price. Do yourself a favor and put their contact info in your address book for when you need a door repair on any kind.

Charlie showed us different options of things that we could do to save money without changing the footprint. Eugeniy kept us informed on the timeline as the windows were being made and then as the installation crew were installing. The installation crew were very tidy, professional and had all 32 windows installed in 2 days. Eugeniy stopped by to inspect the work. Completely seamless for us and by far our easiest home renovation project. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct Of Atlanta.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!

But then he installed it higher up on the exterior door (9 inches from the ground!), such that my smaller, older dog has to almost jump through it - with difficultly. She even hurt herself and started limping as a result. She's not going to be able to go through it at all in another year due to her age. Even my bigger dog has to make effort to get through it. He kept telling me it was fine despite this and refused to move the door lower (which I wanted done despite the fact I would have a gap at the top of the exterior door, so I would at least have a temporary fix for the dogs) . Now I have to replace the exterior door and have the dog door reinstalled. So, I spent $1000 only to have to spend another $1000 - for a new exterior door with paint and installation and removal and reinstallation of the dog door. Wish I had gone with Elite Pet Doors... AND the dog door he had me buy and delivered to him is much too large for my dogs - even though I gave him my dogs' measurements over the phone. I checked the manufacturer website and what the size dog door I received is not the size recommended for my dogs' size. AND he left all the trash from installation in my garage.
