Dog shit doesn't even begin to describe how sloppy this entire experience was--from start to finish. When you pay premium prices, you expect premium service. Masterpiece Doors delivered the exact opposite. After months of virtually no communication and zero meaningful tracking updates, I suddenly receive a call from a third-party delivery driver telling me my door will arrive in two hours--and that I need two able-bodied men at my house to unload it from the truck. Seriously? When I called Masterpiece Doors, they claimed this was "in the contract." Their last communication with me was June 29, when they said delivery would hopefully happen within a week. Then...nothing. Twenty-five days of complete silence before a driver from Indiana calls expecting me to scramble and find help within a couple of hours. The tracking experience was just as bad. Their Shopify tracking hasn't been updated since March 26--the day I placed the order. Today is July 24, and it's still "Waiting for Details". Trying to reach someone is an adventure. Every time you call, they're on lunch, observing a holiday, closed, or simply don't answer the phone. It feels like they take "Summer Fridays" four days a week. If you're considering buying from Masterpiece Doors, be prepared to spend a fortune, wait months with little or no communication, and then be treated as though you're the problem when you understandably become frustrated. I am not a satisfied customer. I ordered 2 doors for a crawl space. I advised they would be sitting on concrete footer. They were constructed with brick mold all the way around, sides, top, and bottom. The doors were constructed for the jams to fit from top to bottom, and did not consider that the brick mold elevated the doors do that they would not fit from top to bottom. I had to cut down the bottom to make them fit, which barely left enough trim along the bottom. The doors should've been built so the doors would fit with the brick mold resting on the concrete footer, as noted. Masterpiece doors specifically asked what they would be resting on and was told concrete footers. Also, the workmanship was poor quality. I have photos of brads shot through the exposed front and blistered places that show flaws in workmanship. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU ARE WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE AND CAN RESOLVE ISSUES FACE TO FACE. ($4000 nightmare) I was extremely excited to order from them when i found them online, and after i ordered my doors, that is when things went down hill. Their customer service rep, Shiela is okay, but lacks attention to detail. She completely messed up my order and misled me. After 8 painful weeks of waiting (delayed by 3 weeks) my doors finally arrived, BUT FIRST, masterpiece doors had to cause a problem. They told ME that I had to UNLOAD the delivery and that the driver would not assist. They said if i did not unload, they would leave it on the sidewalk! (ARE YOU SERIOUS!?) Now i assume All burden of responsibility if something were to go wrong. Secondly, the next day when my installer begins un packaging the doors, we find out 4 major Issues.... i contact the General Manager (expectanting excellent customer service and care), and instead i get some jackass who insults me by telling me "these issues are not that big of a deal. It's a $10 dollar fix. Go to Home Depot". Wtf!? Here are the issues: Door jambs did not come primed as agreed The lock set holes were not drilled Window panes are loose And the door panels on the inside did not arrive with my package Want to know what George, the GM, offered me? $50 bucks or i could return the doors.... yeah. Purchased home in 2018 that has Masterpiece Door at front entrance. House was finished in 2015. Severe fogging of windows in front door assuming due to seals cracked. called and was told while warranty still in effect, since I was not original purchaser it does not transfer. I am guessing this project was over $10K. Very disappointed in lack of concern/response, no solution offered poor quality of product. Will be sure to warn my friends currently building homes not to buy these doors. UPDATE: connected with George and we are working on an acceptable solution. We ordered double doors and shutters for our house, spent about $6k. Great product. Referred our neighbors who also bought a double door. However, we recently added an addition and needed one shutter to match. They can't produce one shutter to match! We ended up having to get shutters we don't need to reach their minimum spend purchase of $1,500 to get our one shutter to match! Our rep seemed as if she could really care less. We even asked if we could just wait until someone else ordered the same shutters and we'd just add onto their order? "Nooo, we can't do that". While most people won't ever add an addition, what if one was damaged? It's just ridiculous to spend that kind of money and be held hostage for more money later. I'm stuck, don't put yourself in that position. read more

Dennis treated us to a tour of the facility where we saw first hand how these special doors are created by talented craftsmen. I contacted several door installation companies, but none of them wanted to take on the task of installing doors inside of a home. They really helped guide me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. While we are happy with our door we had a poor experience with Harrison Clymer who was our sales rep. He sold us a doorbell to go with the door when he wasn't supposed to due to their doorbells having a tendency to short out the chime. Now that our chime has shorted out and I have asked for help Harrison flat out told us we would not be helped and that we were on our own. The customer service at Masterpiece Doors is second to none! This is a company that truly cares about its customers and will go above and beyond expectations. My new doors arrived in perfect condition; however, they were damaged by subcontractors during the construction of our home in New Jersey. After contacting the company to ask for help, David, the owner of the company came out to our house with one of his crews to remove and refinish both sets of doors. Not only did they make the doors beautiful again, but they also made several adjustments to make the doors fit perfectly.
