Response to Candace from Exovations: I never received an offer to replace the sliding doors with French doors even for an extra fee. Oscar simply told me that it was not possible to change the order. Not sure what you heard on your end, but that's the truth. I would have been open to that. Also, the door I received is not custom, it is a standard size, only the framework around the door is "custom" as is ANY door frame. Here is the language from my contract: "Re-frame the opening to accept a door: 5/0 x 6/8" And from Google: Yes, a 5/0 x 6/8 (60 inches wide by 80 inches tall) is a standard size for Neuma's sliding doors. Neuma offers this specific size as part of its standard offerings, particularly for its Bypass Gliding Doors." So actually, switching my order to French doors would have simply involved extra paperwork. Update: I am lowering my review to one star because Exovations refuses to address the door issue. After a few months it has become apparent that I can't use the heavy glass patio doors they installed. I am disabled and over 65. It is very difficult for me to pull open the heavy door due to a spine injury, and I have tripped on the large threshold. I sent an email to them before installation, stating I needed the door opening to be at least 40" wide to accommodate a wheelchair, and they gave me one that opens to only 22" wide. I recently emailed them to ask that they change out the patio door to French doors, which I wanted in the first place, and they refused. We recently had Exovations build a gorgeous covered porch enclosure for us, complete with screening, a stone fireplace,TimberTech decking and a beautiful gable ceiling. Byron was our Sales Representative. He came out multiple times to review the plans, costs and timing, making sure we were completely comfortable with this big project. He was professional, patient and truly cared about getting everything right. Chris, our Project Manager, ensured the work was done correctly and with excellence. We did have an issue with residue leftover on the brand-new deck boards, but Exovations addressed it immediately. While their first fix didn't solve the problem, they ultimately replaced the TimberTech boards entirely. This extended the timeline, but we appreciated their commitment to doing the job right, and we were happy with the final result. When there was questioned about us being able to have a gable or shed roof, Brian, Construction Manager, worked diligently to figure out how to have the roof we wanted and it looks stunning! The crew-Al, Matt, Brandon, Colin, Geo -were amazing! They worked extremely hard, even on hot summer days and maintained positive, professional attitudes throughout the process. The other workers on this project were also very professional and hard working. We highly recommend Exovations. I first used Exovations to side my house 18 years ago and they were amazing. I used them for a different house, this past month, and Chris Campbell made sure I knew the schedule. Worst work . Messed up my windows inside and out. Had theft in my closet when they replaced windows, damaged several items rummaging my things. My new door is awful. Doesn't lock properly and my deck outside it now has black mold. They even messed up my front porch light. They cut into siding too high above door and now I am w/o being able to fix now. Now I don't have one at all because of them. No one spoke English so that's a Big problem. read more

I can't say enough good things about Exovations! About a year and a half ago we contracted them to redo our ENTIRE house! Long overdue. It turned out absolutely Gorgeous! Did we have a few hiccups, sure. However, everything was handled and we are SO happy! The quality of work is top notch as well as their staff! You hear Candice on the radio and she sounds so super sweet... We got to meet her and she sure is a delight! Our sales guy Jim is wonderful as well! The PM's, crew leads, and "the guys" are the best in my opinion! Can't say enough good things about them! I'll say in the past year a couple of things popped up and I made a phone call and boom! Decided to contract them again for windows and a patio door. The installation was past the outlined contract which I made Troy amend. I told him excuses for not starting a job they've been paid for is unacceptable. They installed a cheap door that didn't last a year, after replacing I'm still waiting for someone to paint it to match the other side. It seems as if this company is getting worse. My first experience was good, not this one. The attention to detail by all of the crews that transformed our home was astounding and very appreciated!!!! The carpenters, the stone masons, and the paint crew each exuded a passion to provide a beautiful and flawless outcome and they did! The salesperson was polite and knowledgeable getting the quote to us quickly and going over the options. We had several changes made and he was always willing to make revisions. I contracted Exovations to replace my roof, paint my exterior and install a basic rear door on my home. My total investment was higher than other estimates I received, but I was willing to pay more for the stress free renovation that was promised in their many radio advertisements. My work had taken place in the summer of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. I had rescheduled twice due to my apprehension with having workers in my home and around my family. Unfortunately, my experience was not nearly as smooth and stress free as advertised. My home is halfway down a street and my driveway is on an incline so there are complex angles and limited area to maneuver equipment. It's a driveway the can accommodate a mid size dump trailer on rubber tires at best. What was delivered was a very large industrial metal dumpster directly onto my driveway. It took a lot of maneuvering and damage to my neighbor's curb and grass to finally drop this behemoth on my driveway. The damage did not occur until removal of the half empty dumpster by a very frustrated and aggressive truck driver. In his defense, he had no room to maneuver. It was just a poor choice of equipment for the size and space. The ongoing advertisements with the nice lady and the gouges in my driveway are reminders of my experience and part of the reason for my review. It did not end there. After my roof was installed, a small piece of soffit came loose and was exposing insulation. I mentioned it to my project manager who was apprehensive to repair it. His response was was that his crew didn't do that. Well, after all of the pounding on my roof it was hanging down and it wasn't that way before any of the work was started. It's in a very visible area that I see every day. His crew tucked it back up in literally a few seconds. It did not require any rebuttal on his part. As the work commenced, the painters sprayed my garage doors and door seals without taking care to separate the seal from the door after the paint dried. Upon raising the aluminum door, the paint stuck the seal to the door causing one of the panels to bend. They also broke a plastic fastener on the shutter above the garage door. I noticed the shutter hanging down and mentioned it to my project manager. He checked his truck and didn't have a fastener and said that I could pick one up at Home Depot. I drove to the store and purchased the part myself with no offer for reimbursement. I was told that this happens with other remodeling companies, not Exovations. So, my roof is installed, my rear door is replaced and my house is painted. Upon the final walk with my project manager, I noticed masking tape on my soffit with over sprayed paint on it. Instead of removing the piece of tape which required a ladder and a few seconds of effort, my project manager said that the tape was from the builder 15 years prior. He left the the tape on my house. Must be some great tape to look so new and have lasted in the elements for so long. Incidentally, I've since repainted my house for far less than I paid Exovations. My painter was conscientious, professional, accommodating and also painted a couple of other homes in my development upon my referral. So, in the end, the remodeling was finished on time as promised, the quality of the work was average to below average with the best part being the roof. The paint work was poor with quite a bit of paint on my rubber door seals, a broken garage door panel and a hanging shutter. I replaced my damaged garage door panel but I've yet to deal with my scarred driveway due to the expense of resurfacing. The experience with my project manager was hard to comprehend given all the advertisements purporting that Exovations is a step above all other remodelers. While I do leave many reviews, almost all are commendation for excellent service or products. It's a good feeling to give kudos when deserved and I'm very big on giving family, friends and neighbors referrals if the job and experience was good. On the other hand, if the review of my experience with Exovations can prevent this from happening to another consumer and / or get the attention of the owners to fix the problems that they advertise only happen with other contractors, then this review has been well worth my effort. I am available to discuss my experience with the owner and I welcome any reimbursement for the damages sustained to my property. read more

Exovation did a phenomenal job. They replaced our gutters and gutter covers, painted the outside of our house, replaced siding on our chimney, replaced a door frame/door and replaced soffits and fascia. Everything was done in a timely manner and was done well. We did have a problem with the door we got (blinds inside the door), however, they have stood behind the warranty and are replacing the door. Obviously the door issue was not something that was their fault. I would highly recommend them. read more

Absolutley would not use them again the "stress free" work they claim is just marketing ploy. The work was substandard but the cost was way above others that had been quoted to me. In the end the roofing and new gutters they did ( which cost close to a new car) did not solve the problem. When I contacted them and an appointment was made the workers came but not when I was home or when the appointment was scheduled. They totally replaced my entire roof and gutters less than a year ago but now claim what is still causing the original problem is not their fault. If I paid you thousands and thousands of dollars for a new roof and gutters - How could they not solve the issue and why wasn't I told they couldn't. So here we are less than a year from their repair with the same issues. They have so many different "departments" no one takes ownership of the issue. "Based on our conversation, your pictures, and multiple conversations with my team, I have a good understanding of the failed processes and workmanship on our part. Chris and I will be reviewing your project and the list you asked him to review on Monday so we can bring this to a close." Roone Unger, Exovations CEO, 11/23/19 This is not a typical review. A few uncomfortable facts - I have not fully paid Exovations. Exovations (or rather their attorney and bill collector) has filed a lien against my property. I have been served a summons for upcoming legal proceedings. If I did not state these things here myself, I'm sure Exovations would. So now, they will only need to put their unique spin on this dreadful situation. I contracted with Exovations for a six-figure deck and outdoor space refurbishment project, even though most of Exovations' reviews are related to siding, windows and gutter projects. My decision was partially based on the many excellent online reviews and on the Exovations' website - particularly those with mentions of a good Project Manager. From my initial consultations with the Exovations salesperson to the final conversation with their Operations Director (works under an alias for some reason) who promised to "return to fix" problems, I now know Exovations misrepresented their qualifications, capabilities and project management. Perhaps it should have given me pause that so many of Exovations' reviews are for siding, windows and gutter jobs. I haven't seen a review that mentions the Exovations' Project Manager who was assigned to my project. Over the course of this project, Exovations negligently damaged my property, and attempted to cover up for their incompetence and poor judgement. During their first week, Exovations began tearing apart a screened porch which was not part of the contract scope. The Project Manager was not onsite that day; he was rarely onsite. Ultimately (and foolishly), I agreed to a change order related to putting the screened porch back together when the elusive Project Manager promised it would include some other improvements as recompense. I had early, naive hopes that the Project Manager would be onsite more frequently from that point and that the project would get on track. But the Exovations' crew left pieces of my EzeBreeze screened porch lying in a pile for weeks. They started using this porch to store their tools and ladders (see photos on the other popular review site). Unfortunately, the quality of their work actually deterioriated from there. One stunning example, Exovations broke a large custom window while prying off old decking with a crow bar! There are photos here of the broken window, as well as the remnants of old boards still hanging from screws. Why didn't they back out the screws and simply lift away the old boards? Why didn't they take some measure to protect the window, a sheet of plywood maybe? This, too, happened on yet another day when the Project Manager was not onsite. As upsetting as their continued error upon error was (and is), the fact that Exovations began to resuse damaged material and attempt to hide their repeated mistakes still makes me fearful. Not one section of the new railing fits properly, but there is plenty of black marker and rail-colored paint to try to disguise this (photos on that other site). Exovations had been paid approximately 85% of the contract amount by their final day at my home, yet despite the Exovation CEO's acknowledgement of their "failed processes and workmanship", Exovations abandoned my project prior to completion. They left on 11/21/19 near dusk, just after having replaced the broken window. With no daylight left to review anything they had torn apart and redone again just that day, the Operations Manager, aka Chris Craft, said Exovations would return to "fix anything you find". No one from Exovations has been to my home since 11/21/19. Exovations does want to be paid fully though. I suppose, for Exovations, this is what stress-free remodeling looks like. read more

Never heard something so ridiculous in my life than what happened with this company. I had Exovations come out and give me an estimate for 35 new windows on my home. They were full window units with customizations so I was expecting them to be somewhat pricey. The quote came back at $43k (ouch), but I sucked it up and signed up for financing because it has to be done. After signing the contract and having the hard pull on my credit to set up the financing, I get told a few days later - VIA EMAIL - that the sales person screwed up when writing up the quote. Somehow the $43k did not include the actual windows!!! So it was $43k in installation, options and add-ons...and not the windows themselves. This is from the email I received - "Upon entering each line item, I realized that I entered all the specifications for your windows and didn't load the windows. All the line items on your job were all the options such as the grids, painted surfaces, full frames, wood interior, lead safe removal, tempered glass., painting interior. None of the window units were actually loaded into your project or costed to the job. The entire order is simply line item options for the windows that added up to the contract amount. This means that your contract is void. I'm not sure how this occurred, but the bad news is that your contract includes all the options for the windows, but no charge for the actual windows." So that was that. I didn't even want to imagine what the ACTUAL cost would be if it was that high for the 'line item options'. But hey - thanks for the useless ding to my credit score and for informing me of your screw up in an email. A mess up that colossal deserved a phone call at the very least. Thank god we did a small "test" project before committing to a 20k+ multi-stage renovation project with this company. They weren't the cheapest bid by a long shot, but we bought into the sale's guy's pitch about paying for smooth roll-out and peace of mind. The reality? Started with a small roofing project, estimated to take two days. Workers came the first day, never came back. Contract stated they were supposed to clean the worksite daily, but left water bottles and plastic cups scattered around our yard. Nobody showed up to our scheduled after-project walkthrough two days later. We had no idea if the project was finished or not: leftover materials were still in our yard FOUR days later when I finally called the project manager that had been assigned to me. No pickup, just voice mail. Got a call later from someone else at the company with the excuse that the project manager had unexpectedly quit on them. That's great, but how exactly does that excuse the worker trash, crushed landscaping, abandoned leftover materials, and total radio silence from the company? I could have got twice the "peace of mind" for half the price. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We had GREAT experience with Exovations. Jennifer D in sales gave us a detailed spread sheet on cost. We also got pictures of what the finished product would be with changing some areas from the horizontal siding to board and batten. John Fogle I cannot say enough good about him. He came out prior to the start to walk thru the process and answer any more questions. He was on site almost every day and always in communication. The crews replaced the siding, install new windows and new roof. All were done very professionally. They arrived on time for our estimate ...and after no greater than 5 mins of "really quick" measurement , the estimator told us that building our 16X16 deck would cost us "50" and we asked ...50 ...what . ?? He informed us that is $50000 !! WTF ??? We may have "got off the boat" at night ...but certainly not last night !! How do they stay in business ?? Is it standard to "GOLD PLATED EVERY NAIL " in building the deck !!?? What ...a joke !! here is another review that very much similar to our experience and what we've seen on the reviews : "They should have been wearing a mask prepped for a bank robbery after the estimate I got. What a f*****g joke. I guess you have to pay for that fancy truck, stupid commercials and "project managers" (glorified foremen who hire cheap labor and reap the margin). Made an appointment to get a quote to replace our deck, add a screened porch, and repair an issue with our front porch. The first red flag was when the sales guy started adding on and pushing us to add additional work and details that was more than we were planning. Then when I started questioning it, he told us, "If you're are looking for a $20k deck, we should just stop talking now." The second red flag was when he gave us an itemized bid of over $83,000 with the project taking at least 6 weeks. The third red flag was we decided to just repair the porch for the time being. The original bid was $3,800, but jumped to $4,200 because they could no longer give us discounts or sale prices (we were never informed of any sort of sales or savings deals to begin with, so not sure where those came in or why they couldn't be honored), but we agreed to the new number. It still wasn't enough though and we were given a new bid of over $5,000 because of a "clerical error" on their end. That didn't sit well with me at all. All of the other quotes we have received for this service were under $2000. How do you justify doing the same thing for more than $5000? Sounded to much like a bait and switch and them trying to suck every last penny out of us. I'm disappointed because I was really sold on them until I got the numbers. read more

Short story, did not do what we agreed to as far as the work. Mislead my wife and them myself on the materials. Asked what they could do to make it right, when I told them to so as they promised they said they would not, then said I was dishonest. All at a very high price in an effort ensure we got what we wanted. We did not, not even close. We needed knew railings for the front porch and the steps that go up it. Issue one was the material. We were told we were getting something heavy duty, we got copper coated aluminum, which is weather proof by dings easily. We were told it was like iron, it is not. Second was what we expected vs. what they delivered. The work on the porch was fine, excepting the material was not as described; however the steps where a different story. We asked for, and were told that the railings on the steps would be anchored into the concrete. They initially refused saying bolts would crack the brick, which is true. But I showed them where the masonry was drilled out and the poles were cemented back into the holes. It is a pretty common practice on industrial grade construction. Further we were dealing with a 10 foot span of railing which should have more than 2 contact points. I suggested five and they said they would figure it out. What we got was the light weight rails, bolted into the cement at the base and then drilled into the wood column. Needless to say if you lean against the railing it starts to buckle in the middle. When I told them about this they first said no one anchors support posts because of the cracking. Then I showed them the pictures I showed during the consult. Then they said they don't do that...which was much different than what was said at the consult. The "wanted to make it right" and I asked them to do what I had asked, which the refused to do. It went up the chain with me asking for what i wanted and then saying they want to make it right but refuse to do what they agreed to. The final communication I had with them, they accused me of being dishonest. I found that funny since I am the only one who lived up to their obligations, as they were paid in full with 48 hours of the completion of the job despite my conversations about what was not correct about the project. The final kick in the teeth was that we requested to be notified when they were coming so we could put the dog away to avoid her damaging the house or hurting herself. Well they came on a Saturday morning between 8 and 12 when the dog was alone in the home. No notice. The dog ripped up the interior paint, drywall and trim at our front door where the crew was working. Also required a vet trip to look at her bleeding paws. The crew offered to fix the issue, but management said "you want to me to pay for what your dog did"? I will never use this company again, the on site project people are fine but the consultants and management are pretty oily. read more

My garage door looks great, but would not recommend this company to anyone! The salesman came out and I told him that if the door couldn't be installed by the day we were having my son's wedding party that I would just hold off until afterward. He promised that it would be done, in comes the installation guy. He brought the folks that actually manufacture and install the doors. He promised that it would be done before the party. A few days before, here comes the phone call. Silly me, I thought maybe they were going to install it sooner than expected, but noooo, one of the panels was shattered and they would be installing a week later. I told them to hold off then and I would decide what I wanted to do. They took a small amount off the bill (the remainder of the 50% I had already paid) and told them to go ahead with the project. The day of my son's wedding party the installer came out and put up the door (glass) with two black panels at the bottom. Ok, no big deal, but then, he came back with the two replacement panels and I was told that he would have to come back a third time for two panels that were scratched from the first time. Alright, so now the door is in! I tried to pay online off and on for two weeks straight. I called their office and was told there was a glitch in the system. They called me back and said it was fixed. I kept trying and then received an text that I hadn't paid! Wait, what? So I called the office again and asked if I could just give them my information....after I gave all the numbers, the girl asked if it was American Express. After all of this, they don't take American Express. Did anyone happen to mention this before? No, they did not! I took the money I had saved, paid cash for the first half and put the other half on my card so when the project was finished I could just give them the card and be done! I explained this to a number of people in their office. I am now out, not only the $3,000 that I put on my American Express to pay them (unless I pay a fee to AE to do a cash advance or balance transfer), but I have to come up with another $3,000 to get them paid! The salesman has been texting, calling and e-mailing me constantly with threats of sending this to collections. He also told me that it wasn't Exovations' fault, that they hadn't taken American Express for years...which, I would love to know why I would know that! I also think it might have been nice for someone to throw this info my way!!!! I told him that I would mail a check today and he had the nerve to say he would stop by to pick it up!!! So, I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but our experience with Exovations does not line up with the others found here. We got multiple estimates, but chose Exovations, even though they were the most expensive. We felt their reputation was worth the extra couple thousand dollars. The construction crew was an unmanaged nightmare. Half the time their foreman wasn't there. Our Exovations Project Manager did his best to wrangle them in, and they eventually fixed most of these issues, but so much never should have happened with a professional crew. Below are a few issues. I've included links to pics on the most egregious issues. 1. They cut out part of our deck to install flashing. I engaged Exovations for a sales consultation for the replacement of the siding on my home as well as a porch renovation. Exovations assigned Marcus Sherwood to my house. I first met with Marcus Sherwood on Wednesday, October 3, 2019 at 5:00PM to discuss what Exovations could offer. After a 2 1/2 hour consultation, my wife and I both shared both of our credit challenges and he stated through text to his direct supervisor that " the boss thinks we will get approved. Measurements and drawings were done on our home and we received a quote of $22,700 for both the replacement on the siding and the porch replacement. Marcus Sherwood also requested a follow up meeting for Friday, October 5, 2019 in which he asked us to fill out credit application. We explained our credit challenges in detail to Marcus Sherwood and he assured us through text messages that Robin, their chief finance operator would be able to get her approved with her 99.5% success rate. The credit application could have been completed during the 2 1/2 hour consultation meeting on Wednesday. Robin was in her office on Wednesday October 3, 2019 and Thursday, October 4, 2019 and we could have possibly had an positive answer sooner. On Friday, October 5, 2019 Marcus Sherwood requested an credit report be completed thus reducing our credit score from 2 to 4 points. He portrayed Robin as "Alladin's genie by reemphasizing her success rate of 99.5% and that we would get approved for financing. Marcus Sherwood's text to me on Friday, October 5, 2019 that he was "still working hard to earn my business" was simply not true. Marcus Sherwood turned out to be misinformed with regards to the success rate of the finance options Robin posessed of having a 99.5% success rate. By Robin's own admission, Marcus Sherwood was way out of his league to discuss finance options that he knows nothing about. Marcus Sherwood was unprofessional and misinform of the facts regarding finance. Very frustrating experience. If Marcus Sherwood comes to your house for a consultation, please run him off your property. No excuses for the misinformation. Marcus Sherwood will now move on to his next customer with only a slap on the wrist and no concern for the damage he caused to our credit score by requesting an unnecessary credit report. If company really cares about me as a customer, they will contact me and solve this situation by paying for the renovation because of the incompetency, misinformation and misrepresentation of one Marcus Sherwood. read more

Go deal with no call backs, no show ups, jobs not getting finished and potential criminals coming to your home. If you're still reading and want a reliable company to do high quality work in within timely manner and get paid accordingly, Exovations is for you. I just had them do a major deck project and I'm beyond satisfied. Everything went as planned. All of their employees are courteous and respectful ( and legal citizens I'd imagine). Each day when they left, the job site was immaculate. Exovations definitely builds for a lifetime. The craftsmanship that went into this deck is fantastic. Again it wasn't cheap but in comparison to another company I had install steps on the old deck, the work is light years ahead. I will absolutely use them for future projects at my house. read more

Exovations has proven to be nothing but a great marketing and sales front for a company that doesn't appreciate us as customers. They have been a disappointment ever since we paid them. Since our job was completed, we've noticed shortcuts and mistakes that haven't been rectified in almost two years. I have a warranty rep that doesn't communicate unless we badger him and they keep failing to keep service appointments. They get a star for making my home look great initially but don't plan on them dependably standing behind their work. read more

My wife saw an advertisement for Exovations and it seemed like a great deal. They could do most of what we needed to do all from 1 company. We requested a quote and a salesperson called and set up a time and date, Katie Smith. Pleasant enough person and seemed knowledgeable. The day came and when she arrived we went over all that we needed and wanted. She measured and said she would email a quote in a couple of days. Turned out to be a week but that's the least of the issues. When the quote arrived by email, I was aghast at the prices this company has the balls to charge. I wrote her back explaining my position and I never heard from her again. No follow up, nothing. What seemed like a great opportunity turned into a joke. We live in a wonderful community, filled with very nice estate sized homes. I really believe that motivated her or the company to charge higher prices. Example....... Front door, going from a single door to a double door, simple enough I thought.....almost $ 11,000. I feel that was a bit much. If you want to get ripped off by a company, then choose Exovations but I would suggest shopping around. read more

We used Exovations to replace our cedar siding with Hardie Plank Q1 2020. Joy was our salesperson and she was unbelievable! She was genuinely happy to help us plan our new exterior, and I was amazed by her honesty and practicality. She helped us save money where it made the most sense, and we could not be happier with how the project turned out. High quality crew did an amazing job. They caught minor mistakes before they became a problem. While there were some bumps in the process, it turned out fantastic and we fully recommend them Thanks again Joy! read more

We hired Exovations a year and half ago to put a patio on the back of our house. At first it was beautiful- the we started having issues... within 2 months. -Less than a year, the "staining and stamping" has totally worn off in many spots. When we called to have it looked at for warranty purposes, they said it was "normal wear and tear." That's ridiculous- the stamping is GONE. Churches and shopping malls have staining and stamping that lasts through thousands of feet walking on it- ours should have lasted for many years for one family walking on it. -The concrete has worn down to the aggregate in multiple spots. -The concrete is so soft that our small dog's toenails have scratched a path to our back door. -Within 2 months we had large cracks spidering across the entire patio. Again, they said that was "normal." -The part of the patio where we have our table and chairs? You can actually feel that you are sitting on an incline. Again, "normal"- my engineer husband measured the incline and it is below industry standard, but Exovations disagrees (surprise) and won't do anything about it. I've been hesitant to post a negative review about our experience with Exovations, but it's time. We had our exterior siding replaced last year. After the initial pleasant consultation, we got a call for a phone survey to see how it went. They said we'd get another survey at the completion. The tear out and replacement of the siding went fine. In the process, they took down all of our gutters that had gutter guards on them and tossed them. They replaced them with open gutters, not noticed until a bit later. When the job was "complete" I noticed the gutter issue. They said they replaced "like for like". Despite much disagreement, they stood their ground, the customer is wrong and they said they'd replace the new gutters for another $900. When we refused this offer, they pressed on collecting the balance of the work completed. We paid and GOOD BYE! No follow up, no final phone survey, no way I'll ever recommend these folks for anything. If you want sanctimony, give them a call. Make sure you take a picture of the stuff they tear off your house while it's in the provided dumpster, or else you're a liar. read more

Roon U - Business owner Regarding my earlier review there was no misunderstanding on the written contract. Both the gutters and gutter covers were line item'd out on the contract. As Chris explained the cost for those items were not added into the final price. So I have a couple suggestions for you. Perhaps your company should take time to review all contracts prior to having them signed by a representative from your company. If the pricing were broken out line by line then it would have been noticed that it was not included. I want to reiterate that had this been brought to my attention earlier an in a more timely manner I would have likely been ok with the change, but by that time I was already upset and hesitant due to repeated lack of follow up and responsiveness. read more

Exovations was recommended by a friend since he had a really good experience. I had a great experience with the Exovations person who came out to do the quote. It's when I got the quote that things went to bad. I decided to wait to write this until I had a few other quotes. Exovations was almost double in their price than any other painting company! Upfront I had asked for an itemized quote and instead I received one very large number and that was it! Needless to say I won't be using them for my house exterior painting and won't be recommending them either. read more

These guys are awesome! John Nicholson was my sales rep and he was extremely helpful in getting us a design for a porch and deck within our budget. I cannot say how great and awesome my project manager, Tony Fricks, was. He came out about 2 months before our project was to start and walked through everything and had specific dates about how and when things would get done. More importantly, he knows how to communicate and you always know where your project stands - he calls everyday, even when there is no work scheduled to be done that day to check in and make sure you are at ease. Unlike a kitchen company that we hired and had to summarily fire for awful work, the opposite is true of Exovations! They did very high quality work!! I would use them again in a heartbeat if we have another significant outdoor project. read more
