The customer service here is awful. Tried to purchase a ceiling tile for my daughter's school project. They at first did not want to help look up the item and then tried to tell me that's only come in a case. I told them the price was marked by the tile or by pack on the shelf. Then the two people standing there at self checkout ask me to go take a picture of the price. I walked out and told them I would not be doing any more of their job for them. We came in to look for a clothes dryer on Black Friday. We liked a dryer we saw online at Best Buy. We headed to appliances to check to see if they had the same model. Our sales clerk Les was very good and helpful. He looked up the model in question and quoted us a better price with free delivery from the HD warehouse. After all was said and done because of the great customer service and pricing we ordered the dryer. Just a note: We went to Lowe's first but they were not very helpful. Went to this location on Saturday April 26th to buy materials for a remodel. Found a shower on their website and asked to be added to the order. The clerk said it was on clearance and discounted so he would have to get a code to sell it. Called the manager over and she okayed the sale. Came back today to pick up all the materials and they are saying they won't release the shower because it was discounted too much. I've already paid for my order and was just expecting to pick up my item and now they are threatening to cancel my order and not honor the price they sold it for based on their own system discounting it. We have a plethora of option in locations when we need to get something for the home... I think within a few miles there are about 6 different HDs alone. This location however has been very helpful as we tried to decide on products to fix our home from our flood. The people in the carpet area were especially helpful and allowed us to make decisions and get things back to normal. However why would there be no one in this area after 5 on a Saturday?!? That was disappointing! However generally everything at this location has gone very well for us. read more

RENOVATING DURING A PANDEMIC? YES, YOU CAN!! It has been approximately five years since I first decided to renovate my kitchen. I realized that it wasn't going to be easy because my aesthetic was not well represented at the time and I don't bow to trends. . Thankfully, when I was ready to move forward, Home Depot was my "go to " store for all appliances, fixtures and hardware. I was able to get appliances, pulls and knobs, vent, a huge granite composite sink (which is so awesome that I haven't even bothered to use the dishwasher yet), storm door and exit door and even a mantel for the family room. While changing the kitchen, I also decided to throw some love to the family room and dining area because I wanted everything to be cohesive and fresh. Here is what you need to know about the new "post pandemic" Home Depot: Customer Service is better than ever and they really are going out of their way to improve service and assist customers. HD no longer allows return of appliances. We were shocked but decided to make sure that we were getting their top of the line products to avoid any problems. Never go cheap on the appliances when you plan on continuing to live in the home. You will not regret it. HD no longer issues store credit so you can NOT return items outside of the 90 day return window. I was really sweating with this one as I had bought a lot of hardware because I was unsure of the sizes and the stock was going fast. It was actually depleted on line before our project even started. When you see this, don't be deterred, drive to the store and look for yourself. We visited a couple of stores and got everything we needed. I loved the hardware so much that I decided to keep a couple of pieces to make over some nightstands and a sideboard. This is a great way to create a more cohesive look across the board. Sales aren't as deep as they once were but they still exist and if the sale occurs after you've purchased the item but before delivery, you can get an adjustment on the purchase price. We saved an additional $400 on our oven and trust me, every dollar counts. Appliances are going fast so if you want them, you must act fast. We actually purchased some items months in advance of our install to make sure that they would arrive on time. Don't limit yourself to suites, (all appliances by the same manufacturer) because you really want "best in show". We have an LG fridge and wall oven, GE cooktop and Bosch dishwasher but they all work very well together because of their clean and simple design and matching finish. Our exterior door seemed to take the longest time to arrive at approximately 2 months. Just be aware of this when planning. Despite the shortages, we were able to get everything we needed because we ordered quickly and had little time to hesitate. We also didn't worry about the price and definitely paid more than we would have prior to the pandemic because upgraded models just suddenly became available at the time that our previous selections were no longer available. However, all of our appliances are INCREDIBLE!! I love everything and wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend induction cooktops as they cook clean, fast and evenly. I spend hours in my kitchen and cook a great deal but now my life is so much easier thanks to new technology and a complete overhaul of my work space. This was the best Christmas present ever and especially one that the entire family is enjoying. If you don't like it, change it! Home Depot can help with well trained employees and plenty of options. They are working harder than ever to win your business and doing a great job! read more

I always look up stuff before i head to the store. I found a tool I needed on the home depot site. A RYOBI PBLMT50B ONE+ HP 18-Volt Brushless Cordless Multi-Tool for 99.00. I went to the store to buy it. They sell for 130.00. They wont mark it down to the price on the internet. I offered to buy it online so that then they could let me have one. So I bought a tool online for store pickup wile at the store. They set the pickup date a week in the future. Still standing in the store, I pointed out they have an ample supply in the store. They refused to let me have one and insisted I wait until the one I ordered was delivered, to the store. I went home and communicated by chat on the HD website. Still can't get one from the store inventory. Round and round in circles with no resolution. Done with it. Ordered one on Amazon prime for 16 dollars less than the 99.00 HD internet price. Free home delivery. It will be delivered tomorrow. read more

I'm leaving a review for this store as mediocre because I've had good and bad experiences here. First, I am really disappointed as I have attempted to take a few of their classes that they offer weekly. Twice before I went, I have tried to call to make sure that it was still going on as I had registered online in advance, and never received anything to confirm it. When I called they told me that the class was being canceled as they didn't have the resources or something to conduct it. It is very frustrating and feels like false advertising as I had this same thing happen with a Home Depot in North Hollywood. If you aren't going to be offering the classes, you should not be allowed to advertise it, and especially if someone registers online, you should have the decency to email to confirm it's been canceled as a courtesy. It makes me feel that Home Depot only advertises these as a marketing tool but doesn't follow through. Also, I have purchased paint several times from this place. The first time the gentleman was kind and extremely helpful (although no one was really in the store that night). Another time I came and they were busy- and a lady purchasing a big paint job was requiring alot of specific work for a big project. They were having trouble with something in the system to match a color or something, so someone else came over to help the gentleman. Since they were taking a really long time, they must have called someone else over to help the rest of us waiting in line, which was nice. However, then that guy somehow began helping the other two with the system ignoring everyone in line. It was a little bit frustrating to have three people working on the same thing when there was a line. Otherwise, the location is well organized and fine which is why I didn't give it a completely bad score. Just hope Home Depot either starts following through with the classes or cancels them all together or honors it another time when someone registers, because if I've had this problem on both coasts and at several stores, it feels like false advertising. read more

I used my card to rent a ladder. They told me i was declined so i re-inserted my card and they told me i was denied again. But $80 was missing out of my account. I ended up having to cancel my job after they told me to insert my card a 3 time. Im still missing my funds and my bank told me how to fix it but the manager shantay refuse to help. After calling corporate they assured me that the manager should of been able to help me. They lie and deceive people. I am a small business owner who during these times can not afford $80 to just be missing. And i lost out on a potential great job because of these people. I will never be back. To be fair, the store isn't bad. The employees aren't bad. My review is based on the fact that we checked online before driving to Suwanee to make sure that they were still open. The website said they closed at 8:00 and it was 6:30... perfect! Plenty of time to get in and have time to actually find what we were searching for. We got there, parked, loaded our 19 month into the cart, got into the Christmas section to get our over the door wreath holder, and then started to head to the main part of the store when the speaker came on and the person said, "Attention Home Depot shoppers... it's 6:55 and we will be closing at 7:00. Please bring all items to the front registers in the next five minutes. Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot." WHAT???? Hubs and I looked at each other with panic and I said, "I THOUGHT YOU CALLED!!!" He said he did and the website said they were open until 8!! We ended up only getting our wreath holder as we were too flustered to find anything else in such a short period of time. So my two-stars is because they never updated their website to show their winter hours. I don't have any agreements or contracts with JB Hunt, never received any goods, and am told they're to blame for the lack of an immediate refund? Pitiful to know my trust and instant payment with no goods provided wasn't returned in the same manor. Bought a dryer from this location, and with full disclosure, the dryer works as expected. I gave one star because the unit was sold with delivery and installation included. A couple of guys did come, and I assume that Home Depot outsources this service in our area, but the two delivery guys claimed they could not do the install because they did not have the correct exhaust pieces. Well, Home Depot sold the accessories with the dryer, and it turns out they just provided a longer exhaust tube than was required. It certainly would have worked or could have been trimmed up. Either way, I had to do the install myself, and it worked fine. Of course I had to then climb out from behind a dryer after hooking this all up, which I had hoped to avoid. At any rate, the appliances seem to be good quality, but unless you would like to do your own installs, avoid Home Depot. Their install crews are useless. read more

I go to this location quite often just for the fact that is super close to my job. I'm an engineer so we get to build a lot of cool things, and some of the time we need to get some supplies , so thats we're this Home depot comes into play. Always clean, staff is helpful and out to help. Good selection, but i think the blue roofed spot down the street has better options. Overall, i like the location so I'll keep trying it. read more

I have a hard time finding a box here that has not been opened already. Now I have to inspect everything I want to buy there to see if it's actually new and this is after returning many products for being used or missing parts. Why am I paying full price for a used saw or a door knob with missing parts? There is never a sticker indicating that someone opened and returned the item. Now I just order online from Amazon because it's a hassle to go to Home Depot only to find it's been used or is missing pieces. If people are returning that many items in Forsyth they need to penalize them or put a sticker on it indicating it's been opened and used. What a mess! Can't trust their products at all! We have been in this store more times than I can count over the past 6 months buying. We have had positive experiences with sales associates in every department from paint to flooring, from the garden shop to hardware from the contractors section to storage containers and plumbing. Every associate we have met has been knowledgeable, helpful and one-stop-shop for help. Christina in Flooring and Window Treatments is an absolute delight. Not only does she have experience (she had many relatable stories of DIY) knowledgeable, but she was fun to work with on our projects. She gave us detailed answers for installation and took time to explain the pros and cons of the products we were buying. We also had a great experience in the paint department trying to match a paint color. The staffer (I don't know her name) was determined to keep trying on matching the color we had carved out of our wall. It was a difficult color since it was painted a long time ago and probably had faded some since it was originally rolled on to the wall. After about 20 minutes, she nailed it exactly. It was a great victory and even other customers in line for her services celebrated with us. We have had to return some of our purchases unfortunately. The process was easy on the customer-side (I had the unused item and my receipt) but took a long time for the cashier (who was very friendly) to process. read more
