You cannot beat the friendly and knowledgeable service at the Pikes Nursery on Johnson Ferry in E. Cobb. Every single employee is genuinely helpful and cheerful. From the folks in the outdoor green space, to the "tropical" greenhouse, to the cashiers, and loading helpers; ALL went out of their way to be courteous and friendly and enthusiastic about their work. Special kudos to the young teens who are so extremely polite and thoughtful. Why go to a big box store when you can be treated like a valued customer at Pikes? They're the best. read more

We always get a live tree for Christmas. We like how the inside of our house smells like pine. That aroma helps to get us in the Christmas and holiday spirit. We hate going through the effort of getting a tree and then almost immediately the needles start falling off. We've tried other places but now we mostly get our Christmas trees from Pike Nurseries. We find that they look the freshest at purchase and last the longest. And it's a nursery so they should know plants right? All of their Christmas trees are kept under a covered area so they're not wet if you go on a rainy day and also not baking under the Georgia sun. They have a great assortment of trees. The Fraser Fir is probably what most folks think of when they think of a Christmas tree. But they have other types of trees which is nice. They even sell flocked Christmas trees which are mostly Fraser firs that have been treated with some white stuff to make it look like snow has completely coated the tree. We've never had a flocked tree and my wife wanted one so this year we got one. The good news with the flocked trees is that they're preserved so that you don't have to water them. And we still have a slight pine smell from the tree which is great. Best of both worlds! read more

I LOVE working in my yard and gardening. One of my FAVORITE places to shop is Pike Nurseries, Milton! They have an amazing selection of gorgeous plants! I've always had great success with the plants, shrubs, and trees I've purchased from this store. But even better than the selection of plants - are the employees here! AMAZING! They have listened to my many questions, and they always have such helpful/wonderful suggestions! They've have helped me with indoor plants and terrariums for my home. They've also helped me landscape the outside of my home. Danielle, the store manager, has been especially helpful in helping me choose the correct plants for my flower beds. So this has been my favorite gardening store for a while, but recently I've been even more impressed (during the pandemic). Pike Milton has remained open - but they've taken appropriate measures to ensure the safety for their employees and customer. As a customer with a couple of autoimmune disorders, I GREATLY appreciate their thoughtfulness and genuine care for others. Thank you Pike Milton for loving and serving others so well! They have provided curbside pick-up for weeks now. And these services have been so appreciated by me and other customers I spoke with while waiting for my plants to be brought out to me. They encouraged/promoted social distancing and had the check-out process set-up wonderfully. Recently, they've opened their doors for customers to come in and shop. And again - I can't tell you how much I appreciate Pike Milton's efforts to allow customers to shop while staying safe and well. I felt so comfortable and safe shopping in this store. And words can't express how much I genuinely appreciate it! If you love gardening and playing in the dirt - do yourself a favor and check out this amazing store. read more

Go to Pike's Nursery, Store number 54. We went today for the first time and it was wonderful. It's like visiting a botanical garden. Just beautiful. Every team member we spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable and genuinely fun to talk to - but they also knew how to let us wander and explore on our own. The store is stocked with everything needed for your lawn and home, plus creative and lovely gifts, furniture, and lawn ornaments - but not your run of the mill ornaments - blown glass that looked like flames and jardinières that could easily become family heirlooms some day. Go and see for yourself, even if you don't need anything just go to enjoy the space and the gorgeous plants. Everything from Bonsai to Azaleas. Trees of all types, flowering plants, succulents, I could go on and on but I am uploading some of the pictures that I took, they will say more than I can say. read more

I was so excited to hear that Pike nursery in Milton had opened to the public. As i approached the front i was greeted and advised of the social distancing and that i needed to wear a mask, I was given a mask and gloves for our safety, inside the staff we all very friendly, they were wearing their masks and keeping to the 6ft social distancing, all while offering a great customer service. It was great to be able to look at all the beautiful product and feel safe and cared for whilst browsing.
