GREAT SELECTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!…read more My husband and I slipped in here on a Sunday morning while the entire city appeared to still be sleeping. When considering paint options, it is so important to go into the store to really explore their vast collection and take advantage of their superior lighting. Ideally, I like to have a general idea of my colors before going in so that I can minimize my time in the store. Having a color fan can really help expedite this process and I do think that it makes sense to just own one because they are relevant for years. However, they now have new colors added to their collection so it is time for me to purchase a new one, (approx $50). . There was no rush and we were able to sit at one of their tables to discuss the process. The available employee was very helpful with providing some direction and information regarding the colors and paint selection process. When you are looking for a simple neutral option that can be used in a large area, the choices are endless and it takes time to narrow the choices. Once the choices are narrowed, we take the slips home to place them against various walls. We then narrow again and purchase samples. After applying the samples against several walls and living with the colors for several days, we get a great idea of how the product will look in light and dark areas. We then make our final decision. It is a long process for us because I need to be sure and I have to take my time. Sherwin-Williams has been our painting partner for years and we just appreciate their customer friendly approach to service. The available employee was very helpful with providing information and suggestions. As we were sitting at the table discussing paint, I noticed that they also carry stains for wood which I tend to forget. Since I am preparing to complete some spring furniture projects, I will be following up to explore their stain selection as well. If you need inspiration, they have several albums that you are able to explore. I definitely recommend this store for exploring paint/stain options, purchasing supplies and for great customer service. ***Always check on line for specials and coupons. Now thru February 4th, they have a special coupon for 30% off all paints and stains and 15% off supplies.

This location is close by and we figured the best place to go to find the most bang for our buck. The store is very large and can be a little overwhelming and intimidating at first glance, but there were friendly staff members there to greet us right at the entrance and helped point us in the right direction towards the back left for the LVP. Eric was beyond helpful from the moment we walked over and had an answer for all of our questions. They have a ton of options depending on your price range and what finish you are looking for, and I was pleasantly surprised with the variety. We had an idea of what we were looking for but were quickly humbled by some of the pricing and after doing some math based on our square footage, we found some great second picks and mid-grade options. Eric was even kind coming to pull some out for us and showed us exactly how they snap together for easy install as my husband plans to tackle that himself. Wish us luck!

A BIT INTIMIDATING!…read more It has been a long time since I last visited this business. I actually purchased stone here several years ago and now I'm looking for something else. On my previous visit, there were materials everywhere. They just had a huge selection. Today I found things a bit bare. They typically carry large and varied stones which are in generous supply and also smaller rocks, stones and gravel for landscaping. The smaller items were very limited and I'm just guessing that things will pick up as the weather warms. This is a large property and very probably more "contractor friendly" than comfortable for the typical homeowner. I just felt like I was in the way because I had to dodge the large trucks and specialized equipment. You can actually feel free to walk around and take photos but you are not likely to get inspired because they don't have a lot of their materials displayed in a functional way. You will see them as you walk into the office, (walkway steps, porch), but I think it would be nice if they were incorporated throughout the site. This time around, I need something a little more intimate and a little more user friendly.
