I bought a car battery from Walmart Alpharetta GA online. I used the tool online to determine the exact battery required, then placed the order for pickup the same day using curbside pickup. Newer cars loaded with electronics require a specific amount of Cold Cranking Amps (CCA's). Mine requires a battery with 900 CCA's. When I got home, I noticed the label on the front of the battery had the correct specs, but there was another label on the top that was entirely different - with much lower CCA rating of 760. I called the toll free manufacturer support number, described what I found, and they said take it right back. When I did, the guy working in the returns department said, "Hey, that's the same battery that someone else returned a few days ago. Why did they send it back out?" Really? So because your business practices lack the capacity to protect customers from sending our returned defective merchandise, I wasted almost 3 hours and had to make 2 separate trips to Walmart. I understand mistakes are made, but then to hear a customer service person state, out loud, that someone sent me a known defectively labeled battery really angers me as a customer. So I did what I should have done all along - I went to an auto parts store and got the correct battery right away. Understand when you shop this Walmart the employees are untrained, not managed, always changing, and just don't give a darn about customers. Notice that they have more than 20 check out lines, but rarely have more than 1 or 2 open. If you can't find enough people, pay more.... or recruit better people. Why Walmart continues to hire lazy untrained social antagonists is beyond me. No wonder Amazon is doing so well.... read more

The attitude among some associates are rude and passive-aggressive. I sense a toxic work environment and stressed-out employees walking around on eggshells. I think these associates need additional training and a change of attitude. I'm going somewhere else now. But I'll check back in sometime in the future to see if there are any improvements. :-( read more

It's Walmart...like many, one may cringe at the thought. But this Walmart is exceptional! I've ALWAYS had exceptional customer service; from cashiers to self check out. The staff at the customer service desk are friendly and I'm always treated politely. Easy returns. Easy self check out process. The store is clean! There are constant mark downs. I use to dread "having" to go to Walmart but this location is wonderful. read more

This is a great Walmart! I usually avoid these stores like the plague and will drive past 10 of them to get to a Target. Let's start with the outside: the exterior is much nicer than your average wally world. Clean parking lot, no dirty diapers anywhere. Inside the aisles are wide and uncrowded. I heard a bang! and thought I had knocked something over. It was an employee unloading a pallet. He came over to me to apologize for the noise! What??! Clean store and overly nice employee? It took me less than 5 minutes yo check out too. I commented to smiling cashier how nice the store was. She said they hear that a lot and the whole team works hard to keep it that way. The auto center will not balance & rotate your tires - even though you paid for life long service, arrogant & rude staff and managers (both at the auto center and the store) I bought 4 new tires and r0tation and balancing services in 2013 - since then I only drove less than 10,000 miles ( I am a 74 yr man - which rarely dives this car). the threads are like BRAND NEW, yet they refused to balance & rotate saying that the tires were bought more than 7 years ago read more

I love this Walmart not because it has anything different from other Walmarts, but because of how enjoyable experience it is to shop here. I love how clean and bright the store is. This store is also significantly less trafficked than other Walmarts, making it so much easier to get in and out. I would go out of my way to go to this location simply for the more pleasant and laid back shopping experience that I find here. read more

Walmart sold a 12 pack of miller lite beer that obviously was sitting on the dock way too long. when I returned it my request for return was denied. the manager stated the Forsyth county will not allow the return of beer even though the product was bad. whatever the case may be I was sold product that was bad and could not return it for store credit or exchange. Buyer beware. Walmart is selling bad beer. I will not be buying beer from them again. read more

Young female employee tending the self checkout area was having a loud cellphone conversation. When she had to approve my wine purchase she continued her phone call and loudly snapped at me for an id. I told her not to snap at me and to hang up her phone before taking care of customers. She pulled her ear bud out of her ear, but refused to turn off her phone. She approved my wine purchase, put her ear bud back in and took her phone back to her podium. I am 60, but I understand that lots of places need Id for a wine purchase. My objection is to being yelled at, snapped at, by someone in the middle of a loud phone call, when I am just trying to make a purchase. read more

THE BAR HAS BEEN RAISED! I love this Walmart because it has such a unique footprint. It is bigger and better than any other stores in the area. It is newer and has three distinct entrances which I really like. I prefer to enter through the home and pharmacy entrance because the customer service desk is conveniently located to the immediate left of the door. You will find items here that are not in the other stores. For example, they have peel and stick tiles, furniture hardware and other items. I have never experienced long waits here and the customer service is very nice. They have one of the cleanest and best organized patio and plant areas. I love shopping here! read more

I use this walmart at least once a month, its a very nice, clean walmart. But I just heard about the new Walmart Grocery Pick Up service where you order your groceries online and pick it up at the store. I had to test it. So I go online to the walmart site and click through to walmart grocery. Then I work through the different departments (meat, produce, deli, dairy, frozen, etc) adding products to my online cart. Everything is organized well, all the products and sizes are there, and I can read the nutrition and ingredient labels. When I'm done I pick a day and time thats convenient for me to pickup my items and I check out with my credit card. Finally I show up at the appointed time, drive around to the side of the store, and dial a phone number to let them know I'm outside waiting. They come out and load my car and I'm outta there. And when i get home everything is fine, no dented cans, dead produce, etc. And my shopping list is saved online automatically for next time. What works for me is walmart is a huge store, and sometimes I dont feel like walking the aisles or waiting in line. So If Ive got a list of groceries and I dont feel like spending an hour in walmart, this works for me. Theres a $30 minimum order and a 10% discount on your first order. Its all good! read more

This is for the subway my mom and I ate lunch at today before grocery shopping, lady who waited on us was very nice , place was clean . When the grocery service first began, the service was outstanding. As time has gone on, I've found them to be friendly, yet grossly understaffed. And if it's a Sunday, don't waste your time. You can shop faster if you go inside. The three times I came to pick up my groceries on. Sunday, which I was told were ready for pick up, I waited 40 minutes while the one employee working loaded groceries for ALL of the waiting cars. Each time the person working has mentioned that Sunday's and Monday's are the busiest days. Why then, would you not staff to that? As soon as the new Kroger in the area opens up, I will be picking up our groceries there. read more

Pharmacy was so pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. We always choose this Walmart because it is clean and not over crowded.

They don't have baskets. Only carts. Every time I go in there they claim that they are being used. If that's the case, then you need a lot more baskets then!! It's a clean and organized Walmart but they aren't very quick on restocking items. read more

For being a walmart this one is actually nice and clean, not nearly as busy as the one on market place. It still has some salty cashiers but for being clean and not crowed its totally worth it. read more
