When I got called to the register, my grandbaby had a candy bar that still needed to be scanned. She was getting fussy, so I gave it to her to help calm her down. I simply asked the cashier if she had a handheld scanner so the candy could be scanned while my grandbaby was holding it. Instead of just answering yes or no, she replied with attitude and said, "The world ain't going to treat her like you do, and she ain't going to die if you take the candy from her." Then after I finally took the candy from my fussy grandbaby, she picked up the handheld scanner attached to the register anyway. The whole interaction was rude and unnecessary. I didn't ask for parenting advice -- I asked a simple question that only required a yes or no answer. Sometimes people need to learn how to stay in their lane. Judge and raise your own children, not mine.

My house is a high class man cave with some pretty cool items and have to say when I'm cleaning, and move things around, I notice the tag on the bottom of a statue or piece and I'm reminded what a bargain I got and generally pleased with some art and pieces I find here. Will browse the clothes quick- but like the bargains and have never had buyers remorse from here and occasionally stop by when I need another horse head, or bottle of cologne. Here you have a young lady going to work and trying to perhaps provide for herself or her family and is ridiculed by this adult who is supposed to be a " manager " If that was my daughter and someone yelled at her like that you can best believe that would be the last thing that lady did or said. Very disappointed in Ross and the management and I will not be back to that store and I will make sure all my friends and co-workers are aware just how horribly that manager was to that dear young lady.

Zero stars. I'm five feet tall, I requested help to load a…read moreheavy ten foot rug into my vehicle, Because they were nice enough to have an associate Help me get it up to the front. But they (register #1)said I had to purchase it in order to hold I mentioned if someone could help me load it I wouldn't have to leave it and they said they should have somebody help if i purchased it by talking about the guy who helped me bring it to the front who was my same build . The line was wrapped nearly around the store. So by the time I got to check out I was at register 2. I realized after I said hello and heard nothing back She had a scowl on her face But her buddy came in for his shift and she was perky and gave him a greeting. Since the guy who initially helped me retrieve the rug was back on the register and guy #2 just walked in doing nothing at the time, I mentioned maybe she could hold him for just a second So that once I paid he could help load. She proceeded to mutter something and she d*** sure didn't offer to get her big a** from out of the register to go help me get my rug And bluntly said I had to get it handle it do everything myself. I can see how a lot of people would say that's my purchase. I need to handle it, But it went from a kind request and cooperation to absolute shitshow with this woman. She flat out ignored her co worker that leaned over one foot from her to talk , She claimed the earbud in her ear quit working, Which had nothing to do with somebody one foot away talking. And then she said her ear quit working also So I manhandled the rug and got it over to her and she held her hand up high like she couldn't touch it, I told her that was as close as it's gonna get if she wants me to purchase She might have to work today, Of course, that was her chance to respond with some stupid remarks in which I told her my thoughts. Everything was purchased and I told her I was going to leave the rug there after she said i had to move it, and i said since there is no help I would be back with my car up front.
