Employees are too busy talking about the most recent movie they saw than in asking people if they need help. Prices are good. Bathroom was clean. Parking is a nightmare as the spots are way to close when backing out your large vehicle you brought there to load. Parking lot is more for Prius's than F150s. Makes no sense. read more

Not a great experience at this store. I understand staffing is a challenge right now, but we literally struggled to find anyone to help us. It took me 15 minutes to find someone and then he seemed uninterested and rushed. The staff also advised us completely wrong on what we needed to buy. After showing pictures of the space and describing the project, we were told to buy a schluter that definitely was incorrect (which our contractor pointed out the night before the project). We also asked for quick set mortar and was sold regular. Because of this, I had to rush out last minute to get the correct supplies or the project would've had to be postponed. The cashier was rude at the end when my boyfriend asked her to repeat something she said because he hadn't heard her. Also, just a note but you can't cancel online orders in store even if you haven't picked up the order. read more

Male staff is just so damn rude! I'm 9 months pregnant and I came to buy backsplash for my new kitchen. I asked for help multiple times, no one helped me of course, until I got upset and asked a guy to show me the backsplash aisle, of course he was just uninterested in helping me, didn't provide any help at all, zero energy. Then he told me he was going on a lunch break and thank God he did. This nice and sweet lady TAMMI took over him and she was super helpful, she carefully helped me select the right backsplash/grout for my kitchen, she was sweet, kind and patience and she even helped me put it all in my car. So far, miserable experience dealing with this store. Ordered online. They "fulfilled" order. Scheduled afternoon delivery at vacant home we just bought. My wife got a call at 6:45 AM that the truck was going to deliver flooring in 20 minutes. There was no way we were going to be able to get there at that time. Tried to reschedule with store. Here's the catch: NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE. EVER. After hours of chasing them down, my wife finally talks to someone by contacting the pro services line. They arrange for delivery the next day. We ordered 26 boxes of flooring. Received only 22. Now getting runaround on refund for 4 boxes, plus I now have to drive 45 minutes to get 4 boxes from a different store. Shitshow. read more

STAY AWAY FROM Nucore vinyl/Product/flooring, it's garbage and a waste of money the worst flooring, The product has 20 years warranty, I purchased it 10 months ago it already cracked, and broke into pieces, I reached out to the floor Decor claims department, they are saying that I installed the wrong underlayment without inspecting my floors and also the lady at the flooring told me to use any type of underlayment when I purchase it, There was no sign on the box I did not care about the warranty I cared about the product which turned out garbage. I also went to Bufford Floor Decor where I purchased my flooring to get help and found the camera recordings about a lady who sold the garbage product to me, I met the operation manager ( not mentioning her name ), and she told me that she will see what she can do. I called the store so many times to follow up with her I could not get hold of her. Finally, I went to the store again on Feb, 2023,3 to see her. I asked the lady at customer service. She called the operation manager and told her the customer who has an issue with the flooring is here and wants to speak with you. She told me that she had already left the store for today. I asked the lady if I wanted to meet with another manager, and I waited for 20 minutes. I met another Manager ( not mentioning his name ) and I spoke with him. He said he will call the Manager who I spoke with and will call me back. While I was leaving the store I saw her walking downstairs and leaving the store with me, I said Hi. She told me she had not forgotten about me and had sent an email and was waiting for a response. My first experience was excellent, this one was terrible. I definitely will not be back. It was a litany of poor service from no carts to be found (tried to take one inside the store and a very unfriendly associate told me to go outside to get one, all of which were a long ways away). I sent an online complaint and after listening to the rambling condescending voice message from the store manager I knew where the issue was. I was in there for over 30 minutes, not one person asked if I needed help. I even walked in front of they morning meeting multiple times. I finally asked about apply for 18mths zero interest. The lady ad design desk didn't really want to take my application and pointed me to either cashier or pro desk. I applied and got a "go to customer service desk and ask them to call for more into". I went back to the lady, again she said go to pro desk. I went to first guy at pro desk, he said I don't know what this is. He gave ticket to second guy who was annoyed and abruptly said go back to design desk. I went back to design and was told to go back to pro desk. I said, Ok, wait why am I going back and forth? Anyone here know what they are doing? Finally another lady, sales person who keeps walking away when she sees me told me I have to go home and call the finance bank because Floor and Decor does not handle this. So after wasting all this time, I went home and called. Bank answered and said, no Floor and Decor customer service handles applicants. I said Floor and Decor told me to call the bank! So after a transfer, Floor and Decor customer service said no we don't handle applicants. Call the bank. After the 4th transfer, I told the 5th person I talked to I was not going to be transferred. I hung up. These people are clueless in their procedures and have no customer service. EVERYONE I talked to sounded annoyed or rude. So you don't want my thousands of dollars to finish my basement? Glad economy is great for you, hope you lose thousands of customers and see how your attitude changes. I finally went to the Cumming store. Linda was super helpful. I picked out my large floor tiles and wall stone ledgers and set up delivery. If you have to shop and Floor and Decor, don't. But if you have to, go to Cumming or another location. The traffic to Buford location is horrific and then you have to deal with horric service, that's a no brainer. read more

Wow, what an unpleasant experience im having with the team that works in this store. I spoke with Rebecca two weeks ago about material I needed for a home renovation, she assured me if I paid and order there they could have the material delivered with in a week. It's been two weeks and the times I've tried to contact someone at the store for information they have given me the round around. Turns out Rebecca lied? (Or doesn't know the correct information) and material can't get shipped until august, I just found out after talking to about 8 different employees all at different times all who at some point have given me different answers. I've been told that Rebecca would call me back and supervisor to see what they can do but no one ever returns messages or calls. If you need material and they don't have at location do not trust what they say about shipment and delivery. read more

I was yesterday in Floor & Decor looking for some vanities for a costumer who asked for a specific one, i saw one of 61" white in his box, since yesterday i've been trying to look it up online and there are no pictures to see it. I returned today to talk to an employee who definitely had every intention of helping us, but he didn't. We asked him to take down the vanity box to look at the appearance of the vanity and thus talk to our costumer but the employee refused. and he said he would only take the box down if we were going to buy it. Whoever wants the costumer does not decide for us but for the costumer himself, if the costumer decides that he does not want the vanity why would we have to buy it? Why can't we see a vanity of which they already had enough effort to put photos online so that buyers could see the appearance of what they want to sell? Or are we now supposed to work based on buying first and then seeing what you bought? Honestly, a disgrace. read more

Went to get some products for a bathroom remodel. On entering store, I asked a cashier what I needed to do to get 6 sheets of Durarock, whether I just tell them when I check out, or request it prior to shopping. I also asked where I go for them to load it. The cashier looked puzzled, like they never have requests to have products loaded?? She pointed to some flat carts located near entry doors. I told her I wasn't physically able to load those heavy items. She looked around bewildered, got on her radio and asked if there was anyone available to get the Durarock and load it for a customer... there were 3 employees within 15 feet of her, I heard all their radios with the request.... nothing but crickets.... the 3 other employees were stocking products at the time (2 turned and looked at us when they heard the radio). Very few other employees in the store that I noticed... it wasn't a busy time, single cashier, no customers waiting to check out etc... She finally asked again, and then spoke to one of the employees and she said they'd get it taken care of. I had some product questions, but no other employees around the isles to answer questions... had to go to their "pro services?" desk, there was a gentleman there that was helpful. The consultant, Shante, was very helpful in selecting combinations of tile and grout for our bathroom renovation. However, when the contractor opened the tile packages we had ordered and picked up, he found the wrong color of subway tile than what we ordered. He also found floor tile from different batches from different years so that color and size was inconsistent. This has delayed the project and is a significant inconvenience for us and our contractor. Thoroughly check the orders before you leave the store. They are apparently not reliable. We had no problems of this nature when we ordered from their Humble TX location. read more

"Design" is everything when it comes to a renovation. I visited the Brookhaven (GA) Floor & Decor location to pick out tiles for a redo on two bathrooms. The designers there suggested I schedule a consult, offering me a free design service worth thousands. Literally, you would pay thousands of dollars for an interior designer to provide the level service these folks offer for free. My bathroom remodels were mapped top to bottom, and I was given several different options, with the design staff even asking for pics of my home to ensure my new bathrooms hit the existing aesthetic. These individuals are not just hourly employees. They're top tier professionals with degrees in design. "Rie" managed every aspect of my project. She held my hand through the process, offering several different options, and even went so far as to help me pick out paint colors for walls and trim, as well as online vanities, accessories, etc. Above and beyond 100%. He was so patient & understanding under the stressful circumstances of trying to help 4 or 5 of us at once. It is a very large and confusing store. The first employee whom I encountered was conversing with another employee and totally ignored me. I stood there for two minutes and waited patiently. Finally, I said can anyone help me? They both turned to look at me like I was a space alien. When I ask specifically for what I was looking for, she huffed audibly and turned away from me again. At that moment another customer came up to tell her how rude she had been to him and that he was going to report her to her supervisor. I told her I was able to take my flooring with me now and that I checked to see how long the wait was.. one customer in front of me.. when I asked her how long the wait was to get the flooring was going to be she said "we will see if that's possible!" We're doing some home re-modeling and this is the closest place to purchase material. They have a design department where you tell them about the project and they assign someone to assist you with your purchases. We utilized this service and are very happy we did! Other than that, while in the store, you can NEVER find someone to help you. They're either with another client or they walk by avoiding eye contact.
