I was only in the store less than 5 minutes and I had to hang my jacket outside when I got home! Didn't bother to shop for an appliance because the smoke was unbearable. I find it hard to believe in this day and age that a proprietor would allow his/her business to wreak of smoke - it was gross!

We had a long conversation and he offered to help me in any way. It's rare to see a small business owner show so much compassion and express how important every single customer is to them. I am genuinely impressed with both owners for the effort they put forth. Before beginning the work, he clearly stated that the cost would be $395, but also explained that there was no warranty on the repair and that if the fix did not work, the price would be reduced to $250. Based on that representation, I agreed to move forward. After the repair, the freezer briefly got cold and produced only three ice cubes before the technician left--at which point I was charged the full $395. Unfortunately, within an hour of his departure, the freezer stopped working entirely. When I contacted the company to address this, I expected them to honor what their technician had promised. Instead, they refused to adjust the price down to $250 as previously stated. Rather than resolving the issue, they repeatedly attempted to upsell me on a much more expensive repair totaling approximately $1,300. Given this experience--being charged for a repair that did not work, having agreed-upon pricing disregarded, and facing persistent upselling instead of resolution--I strongly discourage others from doing business with this company.

Good to know Van will take care of you within 30 days if there is any problem with the appliances. And some small fee for service call with a 3rd party for a year after that.
