Good to know Van will take care of you within 30 days if there is any problem with the appliances. And some small fee for service call with a 3rd party for a year after that. They could have delivered it the next day, but we didn't need it just yet - so they brought it out the following weekend. The delivery and installation fee seemed quite reasonable to me, and when they got to the house, they were in and out in 10 minutes, tops. And so far, so good! It works great! Granted, I feel more comfortable buying a used washer or dryer as opposed to some other appliances, because they really do seem to last forever. (My parents have had the same set for over 20 years, maybe even closer to 30.) If I have any experiences like the Orangehead review here, I'll come back and update. But so far, there have been no issues, and it was a super easy purchase.

The men who worked there, was oh so excited to help us. They smiled, was respectful, and even had great conversation....great salesmen. They do payment plans, which we didn't do, because we love paying all at once for everything (except when I shop on QVC or HSN. But, that's another story.) They also do delivery. Its not free, but you can bargain with them. The fridge arrived the next day. The men installed it and left a mess in my kitchen. I did not know that, until my husband was upset about the problems we started experiencing, with this appliance. Everything was working great, until a month and a half into having the fridge. We started hearing a bad rattling sound in the fridge. Then bonk bonk bonk....it stops working. The freezer worked, but the fridge did not. They have a warranty on their appliances, so we called them to let them know what happened. Mannnnn, we didn't see the maintenance man until a week later. I had to give my food to my pastor and first lady. I had just went shopping three days prior, for fresh produce. Now, the only thing I keep in the fridge is shelf stable items. Heck, I need to go check on them, just in case. When the maintenance man came, his name is Angel, he did a quick fix and said that he would be back as soon as he gets the part in. He said that it should be 3-4 days. Well well well. Fast forward two weeks. My husband calls a many of times, with no return phone call (after leaving message after message with the receptionist.) One day he calls, and the receptionist said that Angel just went on paternity leave, and he wont be back until that Monday. Ohhhhhhh, so all they have is one maintenance worker huh? Yup. So, two more weeks of calls, from my husband and no response, I told him to give me the number. Y'all, when I called up there, I went off, yall hear me? I went OFF! I told the receptionist that I was about to call my bank to get my refund, blah blah. I was heated, and still am. I haven't been able to use my fridge at all. The ice maker doesn't work, and the water isn't cold. The fridge isn't cold at all. Its not hot either, it's room temperature like, with a hint of coldness. Being that I have a 14 month old, I storing milk is not an option. I have to use a mini fridge to do that. I just got a phone call from my husband and he said that Angel will be here in 35 minutes, and that he has the part for the fridge on his truck. What? So, I had to act a fool, for something to be done, on a fridge, that we spent over $1000 on? Guess this shows that women get things accomplished, better than men (just joking,) but in all seriousness, this shouldn't have come to this. They have done ruined their clientele. I have so many military battle buddies, that want to know where we got the fridge. I tell them where I got it, and tell them to tell their family and friends, not to buy from them. Not one time did he ask if I needed any help. After looking around another employee asked if I needed anything. I told her what I was looking for and she pointed out what they had available. This place fixes or gets appliances with minor wear that they try to sell off as new. I bought a newer looking washer and dryer set for my mother and the dryer started squeaking right when we got it and the washer stopped working with a clog issue about a week or two after using it. They were horrible at communicating and calling my mother back when she called to try to get someone over. When I went up there I spoke with an Alfonso and he was very annoyed and rolled hie eyes when I asked if we could have someone come out. He said they would have someone out and they eventually came without calling so I had to scramble to get to the house for them to come in. They looked at a motherboard part and came the next day to see if they could replace it and they could not. They told us they could give us another washer but it would be a different brand but who wants a mismatch washer and dryer. We asked if they could find us another set or refund our money. They said they would have another washer that was the same model by the next week. We called and they never picked up so I went back up there to speak with them in which they said it would be here in another week. Fine. It took two weeks total and when the second washer came we used it and it started leaking water during the first use! At this point we were fed up and jus wanted our money back. The units had signs of wear and tear and we didn't feel comfortable with having someone fix an issue on an appliance we paid about $1,000 for both together and we thought the 3 month warranty was too short if all their appliances had problems. They had no other sets so I asked for a refund which they did not want to give. I asked for another set which they didnt want to swap out for because they would be "loosing more money" as I was told from Alfonso as well as the owner Angel. They also would not give me a refund. I called and spoke with Angel and he was extremely rude and nasty to me and I only wanted to get my mother a working washer and dryer set. I told him I could take this to court if he didnt want to give me the refund and he was extremely aggressive and brushed me off and said I wouldn't and couldn't do anything. He wanted me to feel small and weak as a person and wanted to take advantage of us. He finally told me he would refund the money after a few calls back and forth and he'd be able to get it back on my card. After I drive back up there he tells me I will be getting a check and as soon as I said we agreed it would go back onto the card (in a very normal and peaceful but concerned voice) he yelled at me and said I could leave or he would call the police on me (using this as an intimidation tactic because I am a black man knowing how police treat people who look like me). He also said I could take them to court or take it up with my bank and dispute the charges. As I'm getting ready to leave he tells me to take the check and cash it at regions bank as they wont have any fees because its coming from his business with regions bank. It cost $10 dollars to cash there and I let him know it was that much and he said I wouldn't be receiving any more refunds from them (my bank is in downtown atlanta so I couldn't cash it anywhere in Gwinnett). This is a horrible business, the owner does horrible business and the appliances are garbage. DO NOT SHOP HERE. On 3/14/21, I contacted the store to let them know that my refrigerator w as not cooling/working properly. They sent a technician on the same day and I was told that the refrigerator needed a new motor. I was highly unsatisfied as this was supposed to be a brand new refrigerator so I told them to take it back and cancel my financing contract. I called on 3/15/21 and 3/17/21 to get an update on when the refrigerator would be picked up. I was told on 3/17/21 that I had to come into the store and pay a delivery fee or they would not pick up the refrigerator. I refuse to do that. I was delivered a broken refrigerator and I have no intention on giving them any more money. The financing company won't cancel my contract until the store tells them to, and the store won't cancel my financing contract until they have the refrigerator. I'm not paying them any money to come pick up their broken merchandise. I filed complaints with the BBB and Georgia Attorney General. They have unethical business practices and border line illegal.
