I was looking for an oven to purchase that had a double oven and I wanted one of the ovens to also be a convection bake. I was told that the GE oven was the one that had those options, so it was ordered. After I tried to cook something on the cook top, with no luck, I found out that this cook top was a induction top. NO ONE at that store told me anything about this cook top, nor was it explained. I figured all that out on my own. I called to get them to take it back, because I was within 30 days of buying this oven. I was told that I had 3 days to return it and I should have read that on the delivery paper that I signed when it was delivered. I NEVER SIGNED ANY PAPER!! They said I did but when I asked them to get me a copy of where I signed, they could never find it. So it kind of seems to me that they are being a bit deceptive here with that. So now I have a stove and half of my pots and pans dont work. SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT EXPLAIN ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT YOUR BUYING. I contacted GE to see if there was anything they could do. They could not believe that they wouldn't take it back. They are only worried about turning a fast buck and nothing about customer satisfaction. read more
